We arrived for our scheduled slot however we had to wait for about 30 minutes in a queue before the tour started. The kids were very impatient as they simply didn’t understand why we were waiting and we also had no clue, as we weren’t informed why.Once inside, the kids (and us adultsloved it from the beginning. We had been doing a Shrek marathon in the lead up to our visit so the kids were well psyched up for it and understood what was happening. The bus experience was really cool, which again we all loved. The rest of the tour was also interactive (but of dancing, chanting…and each of my kids were given something to hold for the next room(all part of the story). At the end, there’s an opportunity to pay for the photos taken. We got the book and digital copies for £30 which is quite pricey, however my kids have gone through the book quite a few times since. So it’s a nice souvenir.I’m glad I didn’t go by the reviews and went ahead and booked. As we went to the aquarium before this and the kids were not that impressed.Overall it was a good experience but I wouldn’t be returning due to the price. It’s very expensive for what it is even though we did enjoy ourselves.By the way my kids are 4,4,6 and it was perfect for them. They didn’t find it dark and they weren’t scared by anything at all.

We have visited Shrek’s Adventure twice over the years and it remains a firm favourite with the kids! They love the immersive experience with the actors and donkeys narration. Some great photo Opportunities, and it’s very cleverly done so if you are at the back you’ll move round to the front of the next section to include everyone

How Its possible that the staff deny your entrance for just 5 minutes.I lost the money I paid for that.I understand that you have scheduled appointments. But its really that strict to enter an attraction?Especially talking about a mum and a child. And have to specify that the booking was for 2:30 .So that is not the last entry of the day.

Such a wonderful adventure for my 6 y old son! To be honest, I didnt expect much, but booked anyway...and was so surprised, in a good way! My son really enjoyed it, it was fun, exciting, interactive, spooky enough, the actors were excellent...the concept of the adventure is just great, especially for the kids 4+..... Only thing I agree is that it is not so much about Shrek, but we are not Shreks biggest fans anyway!

Really looked forward to taking my children to this attraction. We was very disappointed!!! My children one who has sen needs were terrified. My children were not only ones terrified by the rooms being so dark and the rooms so loud. Not once anyone asked if anyone suffers with sen needs to warn us of the loudness.Shrek is U film. This attraction was not suitable for children under 7.Definitely wont be going back.

My kids love Shreks adventure. The attention to detail even in the waiting areas etc is excellent and the interactivity with the performers is fab.I would say that it could be a bit longer for the full price, but its very enjoyable and my kids love it every time (we have merlin passes and live quite close by so is definiteky worth a visit. My kids are 6 and 10. I have taken children as young as 3. Its a but hit and miss with the smaller children, they either love it or are utterly terrified, so bear that in mind when deciding whether to take little ones.

I recommend this place to any parent !!! I was amazed how much fun and interactive it is. Loved every stage of the adventure and my son was constanty smiling and jumping with excitement. Parents, honestly one of the best days out for kids ,and good value for the experience you will give to your kids.

1. The cast and staff are amazing, very nice and super professional2. The attraction itself is fun and very good but Im not sure its worth the price. Compared to other Merlin attractions which last all day, this felt like the Price vs. Experience didnt match up3. The reason Ive given only 3 stars... I felt exploited the entire time. The queue to get in was long once inside, the buggy store was in the same queue as drinks and food and then it took even longer because this is the same queue for photos. It just felt like we were waiting for a long time, which when you are carrying a toddler feels super long.Came out into the gift shop (who were lovelybut the way to the exit isnt particularly easy to get to through hoards of people and felt suffocating. It made me very incredibly anxious. On the whole, my kids enjoyed it which was the main thing but the constant additions of costs for photos etc. Just spoilt the experience for me and Id be reluctant to take them back.

I went with my wife and 6 year old son. The attraction was really well thought through with loads of attention to detail and amusing touches. The 4D Magic Bus Ride was brilliant. You go through room by room in groups. The staff were great and the actors did a brilliant job and interacted with our group really well. A really nice blend of thrills, fun and laughter and my son was enraptured. We booked tickets in advance for early entry with Merlin passes so didn’t have to queue. We were there in mid August and it was getting very busy during the day so you probably will have to wait at peak times. This is likely to be too scary for under 5s (depending on temperament).

The actors were very good, they definitely put on an adventure show for the group. The bus ride was brilliant and kids loved this. No photo or video allowed inside. There are a few photo opportunities at the end of the adventure. Meeting Shrek at the end was cool.

We visited Shreks adventure as a family of four with a seven year old and a three year old. Both children were fully immersed in the experience and loved the 4d bus. The actors were great and my kids really soaked in the magic. My three year old unfortunately did get very scared at the mention of the witches coming but Merlin did recommend the attraction for over 6s. So thats my fault. We enjoyed our visit but were very upset when a member of staff sent us to the box office for the toilet for our toddler and it was closed. This did cause issues as there are no other toilets in the area. For a family attraction this is frankly unacceptable.Neither less my children did enjoy Shreks adventure.

Both myself and my daughter, throughly enjoyed our visit. My daughter, who is 11 absolutely loved it!!! She cant even tell me her favourite part!! The actors were, fantastic rrallt getting into character.Although we have merlin passes,if Id have had to pay the entrance price,I would of been happy paying it. Only let down, you cant take pictures with the characters and have to pay ridiculous prices for them

Decided to treat the grandchildren to a trip here. They appeared to like it and enjoyed the day.My low rating reflects the greed of the business that stops you taking pictures on your mobile, but takes plenty of pictures themselves. They then attempt to sell you these at extraordinary high prices.Surprise, Surprise! Nobody was buying.Perhaps if they allowed us to take our own theyd get better reviews!

Were not massive Shrek fans but whilst on a visit to London and armed with Merlin passes (primarily to do Madame Tussauds and the London Dungeonwe added this to our itenary. We did not really know what to expect but it was much more fun than we anticipated. The London bus ride with surrounding 3D video provided a great start and the costumed characters and interactions with visitors provided plenty of laughs as we played our part in the storyline. Our only criticism would be this incessant obsession of cajoling everyone to have purchasable photographs taken along the way. This attraction could have been completed a lot quicker if the photos were automatically opt-out with visitors being able to partake if they wished, rather than the pictures being the default option.

We were feeling really positive about this experience as a family with a disabled child after reading on the website you fully recognise the sunflower lanyard and your staff will do everything they can to help. My son was in a disability pushchair displaying a sunflower lanyard and not once did a member of staff ask if there was anything they could do to help. We were sat right at the back of the magic bus and my son was pulling the persons hair in front of us, pulling her top, kicking the chair which could have all been prevented if he was at the front of the bus. However we were shoved to the back throughout the tour because he was in a pushchair which was also not fair on my other two children. So disappointed considering the amount we paid to get in.

Best part? The staff were accommodating. Worst part? The rest. It looks old, not looked after and really out of date compared to other attractions.Needs serious updating and to be made relevant.Very very boring for everyone, adults and children.Sorry but do NOT pay this sort of money when lets be honest, a day at Chessington or Thorpe Park costs not a great deal more.Dont waste your money. Would never recommend

Much better than expected! My kids (7 & 10LOVED every minute and my 10 year old said it was the best place hed ever been to. Probably an exaggeration but Im putting it out there. Funny characters, absorbing story lines and attention to detail all made this a worthwhile experience. Notes: bathroom is inaccessible at the end, make sure you use at the beginning. Photo ops: waste of time unless youre planning on purchasing your photos at the end.

Very good fun for the kids who thoroughly enjoyed it, some good actors playing their roles excellently combined with the costumes and environments makes it an authentic experience. The only down side is the cost it, would be nice if a discount was offered for families as it gets costly for a group, my family is on the smaller side (2 adults 2 kidsI can only imagine how difficult it would be for medium to larger families to experience this attraction due to cost.

Visited today with a 2, 9 and 13 year old, and it managed to entertain everyone! The experience was not what we imagined but it is very cleverly done and very immersive. Some parts were a little scary to the younger kids in our group but didnt last too long and there was lots of distractions. The actors and actresses were brilliant, they even made a grumpy 13yr old boy laugh. Well done, what a fantastic attraction. The only downside we did have was that it was over too quickly 🤣

We really enjoyed our shrek tour, plenty of film references and laughs. The detail around the building was amazing. Talented actors & actresses who made the experience all that it was, very interactive with photo ops at the end. Brilliant for children but we are two 20 year olds who really enjoyed. Just a pity about 3 individuals we got stuck on our tour with.

Shreks Adventure was included as part of a 5-attraction ticket I had, and to be honest, I wasnt at all interested in this attraction before my visit. However, I really enjoyed it and thought it was great fun – even for adults. The actors are great, and the sets are really well done. The attraction only lasts for around an hour so I would say the price could be considered a little steep (especially if you were paying for a whole family), but of course this is typical/expected of London attractions. Highly recommended, and even better if its included as part of a multi-attraction ticket.

(Merlin pass holderVisited with the Wife yesterday and we had a wonderful time! there was no wait to get in and the actors/performers still gave it 110% even though most of the tour was just me and the wife, the tour is filled with little Easter eggs to the movies if you look around at the decorations. I cant comment much on price as Im a pass holder but with a pass i would say its an experience I would highly recommend.

Needed to get out of the sun and since I have a merlin pass thought Ild go in here, I was alone with no children so thought I wouldn’t like it but I really enjoyed it way more than expected. The cast were on form, especially Cinderella! The only negative side was the long wait before the bus tour (easily 20mins), no one informed us what was happening. Also depends on the group of people you are with as my group had 2 unruly kids running to the front in each room getting picked out and leaving nothing for other kids to get involved. Obviously a parenting issue but communication with cast members in future rooms, to chose other kids would be good for the staff to try and implement.

The movie franchise is entertaining for adults as well as children, whereas this experience is suitable for fairly young children only. Was quite a feeble experience and certainly not worth the ticket prices. Could have been a lot better with only a bit of imagination and investment. The aquarium, London dungeon and Thorpe park are better value for money and worth the entry fee.

Great little attraction, lots of laughs! Perfect for children. We visited as 2 adults but I think my children would love it, it’s over fairly quickly but it’s probably the right length of time to keep the attention of young ones. Characters were really good actors and great at improvising too. A pleasant experience overall and would definitely visit again with the children!

Book online ahead of time to save some money! You get punished for doing this spur-of-the-moment.Regardless, our kiddos had a blast. We got lucky as both got selected to participate and it was the talk of the rest of the trip.Hats off to the team of actors, too! They were excellent—especially the bloke who played the Ugly Step Sister! Name starts with a D but I can’t recall. He was FANTASTIC. He and the young lady who played Fiona did great American accents so we appreciated a touch of home! A few British works snuck through but we think it made it even more special.Another nod to the gentleman who played Thelonius because his accent was HILARIOUS. He intentionally called my daughter by a boy’s name and it had us laughing for the next hour.If you have kids, this is a great experience. My only recommendation (besides cost which can’t be helped in a place like Londonis to have the bus be mobile. There was a moment or two when we felt a little nauseous because the screen surrounded but the bus was immobile. The 4-D piece of wind, water, and mice (brace yourselves!were huge pluses as well that helped us to forget about the bus.Overall, definitely recommend. We’ll be talking about this one for a long time!

Really enjoyed my morning at Shrek’s Adventure. Tickets booked through blue light card.. 3 attractions for £57!!After you got past the pictures at the start, the magical bus tour and all throughout the adventure was great! The characters all played the part really well, and the interaction between them and us as a group was great! Maybe they needed to put smaller groups through the attraction as in some rooms we were squashed close together, but all in all a really fun attraction and definitely worth the visit. Really recommend!

Today we visited Shrek Adventure, myself my wife and 6yr old twins enjoyed the adventure. For the minute you enter the attraction it is highly themed and interactive. The magic bus tour is fantastic and the effects are very cleaver. The lands you pass through in your search for shrek are brilliant! The actors and actresses are outstanding and add to the magic of attraction.I highly recommend giving this attraction a visit.

Really great experience.. my 5 year old and me both enjoyed it so much! I would say it is suitable slightly older than 5 as there were some children start crying from the start of the magic bus which is actually good fun but there’s explosion scene and water spray to the children that may frighten younger children and also no 3D glasses provide which is the down side. All the Character has done an amazing job and all the children took their part in. Really happy seeing the interaction between the staff and the children. The only part made me feel a bit uncomfortable was the photo shooting part at the start of adventure as it did feel a bit rush and pushy and the photo book is pricey as you already pay so much for the entry. I got a better deal from discount-London.com so which is not too bad. Other than that the adventure is perfect.

We purchased the picture bundle at the end to mark out time at Shrek Adventure and was pleasantly surprised at the value for money and the contents included. This was okay, I wouldnt say amazing. Definitely one for the younger kids, Id say 8 yrs and below. You are not allowed to take photos inside but plenty of opportunities to take photos before and after. The 4D cinema part at the beginning is good and you cannot fault the actors that take part. It was nice but I have to say our 10 year old left a bit deflated when it got to the end.

Awesome tour for kids and adults. Il admit I had more fun than my little one. If your child loves Shrek then they will definitely enjoy this but bare in mind I went while there were covid restrictions in place which probably means the interaction with the crowd is considerably less.
