Fast and great customer care! The salad was delicious too!

Order takes more than one hour to be served even when there the cafe is near to empty. Not recommended unless you are planning to spend the day here.Food is fairly good but not worth the wait.

This place is gorgeous, and the food and drinks are good, but beware that the service is very slow! Despite the fact that the staff are very nice, theyre not attentive and dont follow through on things you ask, and bringing a simple cup of tea took 25 mins at a not busy time.If youre not in a rush, this really is a gorgeous place to spend a few hours working or chatting with friends.

We arrived Saturday morning at 8:00am and we are the only customers here and we placed our order. It is now 9:00am still no food, employees are all on their phones...its a pretty frustrating experience.

Shokolas Rooftop cafe offers magnificent views and to ads on to that it serves great coffee. One of its under appreciated drinks is the Green Juice which will leave you feeling cleansed from the first sip down to the last drop.With friendly staff, access to WiFi and a cool breeze throughout, Shokola has truly become a favourite.

One of the most beautiful, cozy and elegant place in Kigali. The beauty, calmness and classic feeling will take you to the most beautiful feeling ever. Great coffee food and drinks.Loved it amd definitely recommend to spend time.

Their service is outstanding.However, they didnt have vanilla or Carmel flavoured beverages available. But I experienced something similar at another cafe this week. Assuming that its a common deficit.

Shokola Cafe is one of the best places to eat. The food is not only healthy, it is delicious! You will not be disappointed with the food here. It is always very good and always hot. You can tell that they take pride in the food that they serve. Other restaurants should take note. This is how you cook and serve good food!

Quite place on the rooftop of Kigali public library to work or read while having a good meal. But I doubt its suitable for handicapped people the stairs leading there.

This is one of my favourite places to have a coffee in Kigali, great view, excellent service. Taste the smoothies, my favourite one is the Tropi-Colada with ice cream! Delicious!

Honestly the most friendly and efficient service Ive found in Kigali restaurants and coffee shops so far (and Ive been to many). They have an amazing, calm and beautifully decorated atmosphere, soft chairs when you have to work for long and great food.

Shokola is located in the same territory of National Library, the entrance is located just close to parking area,It contains also Rwanda Chess Federation activities in the same place,The place is silent and relax, one of the best place with beautiful view of city,I highly recommend Lemonade with fresh mint!Coffees also good as per friend’s recommendation,Close to US Embassy and National Police HQ at Kacyiru,

The cafe has amazing views, the cooking is outstanding, the smoothies are real good. It is very expensive, especially for locals. But if youre a tourist, you should definitely visit!

The staff are very polite and professional. The bakery items are questionable. I bought a cookie and it tasted very very old and stale, was tasteless and hard. Staff did not know how long it had been sitting on display. Unable to eat it, the staff traded it with something fresher. Nice atmosphere.

My family and I love this place. Coffee is good, so are the smoothies. Its a relaxing place for morning or afternoon coffee breaks. Wifi is also available to customers!

Actually the best place. It is so chill. The internet is awesome and Free! You have a great view from pretty much anywhere in here because its on the roof of the library and has an outdoor part where you can sit. There are plugs everywhere- even if you sit outside so you can work all the time! The staff are so sweet and kind- they showed me all the different Rwandan coins!☺ I dont know if theres another way to get here, like from inside the library, but there are stairs outside the back of the building that is how I found this place! Love it! 🤗

A very good place, a place for relaxing while talking your coffee listen to jazz sound of music , aplace with agreat view of the vision city , the US embassy , a very quite place to be with your one and only just try this looftop place you will like it

Place was nice but entrance at the back of library building. Lack of signaging. Only regulars would know how to access. The service was sad as staff didnt look like they know what theyre doing. Had to give several reminders. They took more than 30 mins to deliver beverages of African tea and a cup of hot chocolate. The African tea delivered was just milk the first time-minus the tea and took another 15 minutes to complete. A Pricy affair too.

I dont even know where to begin describing my experience: the cool mood, the amazing ambiance, the delicious plantain and peanut chicken, the cosy seating with a cup of mocha while the rain pounded outside...? Would definitely recommend it over and over again and not just because they didnt charge me for the additional plate of plantain. Cant wait to go back!!!

Pricey, but great cafe. Stunning views from the outdoor terrace, comfortable seating with outlets inside, quality and healthy food. Recommend the smoothies and juices. Situated on top of Kigali Public Library. Entrance is at the back of Kigali Library, up a flight of stairs. Service was friendly and fast when I came (Sunday ambut the cafe was also largely empty.

The layout and views are nice, it is a very comfortable place to sit and work. Would go there for just the location. The food range is not much but it is good, I loved the grilled plantains. Good place.

This is my favorite spot in all of Kigali! The ambiance is airy, relaxed, and cozy. The balcony seats provide a remarkable view of Kigali while the inside seating surrounds you with books and artwork. I read, sipped on delicious, freshly made hot tea, and enjoyed a delicious, healthy lunch. I felt pampered by the warm, welcoming hospitality of the servers. I could live here!

This is a lovely place. Located on top of a public library, it has wonderful views from the terrace. The atmosphere of the place is charming: many plants, several wooden book shelves with books, a wall covered in art pieces, and a few artsy theme rooms to relax in. There is plenty of seating available, as the place is a not usually crowded (at least not on weekdays). A nice breeze comes inside through open glass doors leading to the terrace. The food and service are excellent. The place is good for work, meeting friends or coworkers, or spending a leisurely afternoon relaxing and reading.

3stars for wifi. Great food. The mango-tree tomato smoothie is amazing. As well as the avocado salad. Its a great ambiance and the service is good too.Im giving 3 stars because Ive visited this place 5 times in the past 2 weeks and the wifi is not so great. It goes in and out a lot and its very difficult to even have a Skype call. If youre working on something that doesnt need reliable wifi, then this is a great spot. Otherwise avoid for if you need to rely on wifi.
