A tent-like drape lines the roof of this Turkish venue with an open grill for meats and vegetables.
nice place and yummy food. Two comments though:- the size of kebab skewers was small. It should be at least 5 pieces.- Kids high chair to be cleaned thoroughly for customers
Fantastic food and the serving speed was so good. Good place to go if u are hungry and want delicious food served almost immediately.
If I could give it 6 stars I would. The first bite from my mixed grill was a piece of lamb and the flavours were out of this world!
Really nice food and very reasonable prices. Nice cosy atmosphere. Beats going to the generic chains of restaurants any day!
Had a fabulous cold mezze for 2 with lovely warm bread. Good atmosphere and good service, would recommend.
Stopped here for lunch. Pleasant interior. Food was fresh with the lamb adana well cooked. Good sized portions and plentiful sauces! Good attentive service by the staff. Even the toilet facilities were well kept which is always a plus!
Amazing Food! Loved all of it.
Great kebabs and chicken. Decent size portion. Chicken was really good. Lamb was somewhat not well cooked. Ambience was great. Good service as well.
struggled to find decent halal food in the one centre, when a very kind street cleaner came to us and recommended Shiraz BBQ only a short walk away from the centre. Great food and service, very nice pizza, chicken fillet burger and chips with popcorn chicken and chips for our children. Well worth the cost and the walk.
Had some lovely middle eastern cuisine, done to a standard.
This is a little hidden gem. The food was amazing, watched the chef cook on open coals and the waitress couldnt do more for us. If were ever in the area again we will definitely be back.
What a wonderful little gem of a place. The food was absolutely fantastic. Fast service. Polite and welcoming staff. The food was Persian and everyone’s meals were divine. They seated and fed 10 of us with no warning or booking. They had finished for the night but very kindly kept the restaurant open for us. Extremely generous and the food really was amazing. Highly recommend this place. They had a great selection of main meals. The drinks menu was also great. I will definitely go back.Sincere thanks to all the staff and Hamed who looked after us all.Mitra. X
The best Mediterranean place in Liverpool. The place has a great vibe, the food is excellent in taste. The rice had great flavor to it too. The juiciest kababs are here at this place, definitely coming back here for more.
Fresh cooked food, piping hot, delicious flavours & generous portions. King Prawns were superb
My family and I walked into the restaurant and were instantly pleased, the atmosphere is phenomenal and relaxing. The staff wete extremely polite easy-going and friendly. The menu had great variety, it would please the most picky of eaters and vegetarians. starters bread, garlic bread, hummus and tatziki were so delicious, I wouldnt change a thing about it. Our meals were nothing short if extraordinary, everything was shooting with flavour and was extremely well seasoned. The meals were very well presented, which complimented the incredible meal. Hidden gem, would come back anytime.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Came with my friends who said they come here all the time and love it and I can see why! We got the mixed kebabs (which were around £16.50 eachand everything was delicious, really recommend! Even the sides were tasty and fresh 👌🏼
Our second time here.We ate last time in October when the Giants were visiting Liverpool city centre. The portions are huge and we really struggled to finish our meals - in fact, I left my rice untouched. If I recall correctly, on our last visit we shared the mixed kebab plate and ordered extra sides.Something to remember for next time!July 2022 - we had chicken kabob and a hellim kabob with an extra side of Tahini which was served with bread.
Truly a 5 star quality experience right in the middle of Liverpool. Kebobs were amazing, portions were very good and great value. £15-20 for meat entre, rice, salad and chips. Left full and feeling great. Would strongly recommend. The staff were very friendly and service was fast. The venue is cozy but well maintained and clean. Kitchen has a window showing the open coal cooking. Kids kebob plate is similar to the adult but slightly smaller, £9 roughly.
10/10 Food was delicious and service was great. Cannot fault whatsoever!!
We had been for a drink after a day of sightseeing but then found a lot of the pubs had stopped serving food. Came across this place by chance and liked the look of the menu. Also noticed it was packed which we find is often a good sign.Had a lovely meal and a decent bottle of wine, service was friendly and efficient and we thought the bill was very reasonable. Will go again if we are in the area.
One of mine and my daughters favourite places to eat in Liverpool. The food is just amazing with beautiful flavours and presented perfectly. Excellent value for money.
Outstanding place to visit, food was delicious and cooked in full view of the customers. Drinks were very reasonably priced as well.we were served by Lisa and she couldn’t have been more helpful. Really recommend this place if your in or around the cavern club area of Liverpool.
Very average food. Service not so great either. One of our party had to wait a while for their food whilst we had ours! Pizza wasn’t great but I suppose it’s not a pizza place. Calamari awful with thick batter coating. We wouldn’t return.
The food here is really good. It has a good vibe. We as a group of 10 ordered a lot of dishes and none were disappointing. Wouldnt recommend fries though. The kebabs are a little less juicy but still worth trying once for sure.
Great experience, open grill cooking, great ambience, helpful staff and most importantly great tasting food. The venue is fairly small and looks dated but the foofmore than makes up for this. Highly recommended.
Good food, fast service, reasonably priced food. If your hungry this is the place. ( too much on the plate for me Worth a visit.
Restaurant has an amazing atmosphere, and the food was great with big portions made marvellously. Not typically from Liverpool went for a day out and stumbled across the restaurant and am very glad. Would highly recommend! Left with a very full belly and very happy.
Kebab and service were good, but with apologies to the Egyptians and Greeks, the best baklava I now have ever tasted was from an Iranaian‐decorated restaurant, Shiraz BBQ.
Called for food after a random search for food nearby while we were taking a weekend break in Liverpool. I chose the mixed grill and my wife the fish of the day. We enjoyed the food very much, no bones in the fish and generous portions served quickly by a charming young lady who couldnt do enough to please. Definitely recommended.
An amazing taste experience from start to finish.Solo dining with a table to myself for 2pm (mid-week). Although I’ve lived in Liverpool for the last ten years, I had never visited the Shiraz BBQ. Until now.I had no idea what the quality of the food would be like, what the restaurant would be like etc.But from the moment I arrived until I left, they couldn’t do enough. I was served by Lisa (someone who was very pleasant, professional and knowledgable.)I told her that it was my first time there and that with advice from a friend who is Turkish, I was given a list of foods to try for my first authentic meal. It did not disappoint.I ordered garlic bread and I’d asked to try some hummus (never having it before), she soon came back a small side plate of bread and a small ramekin full of hummus to try. It was delicious. My garlic bread soon arrived. It was the size of a dinner plate, it was golden and beautifully cooked. The smell from it was amazing. I’d also asked for a drink called Aryan. It has Turkish origins and consists of yoghurt, sparkling water and salt.It is certainly a drink to try and it works so well when drunk with your kebab. I decided on the koobideh kebab (Adana). Great choice (see photos).A full dinner plate included two skewers of the koobideh, including chips, rice and salad and a ramekin of tomato based sauce with sweet chilli. Absolutely delicious and very filling. Don’t worry if you can’t eat it all as they will bag the rest up for you to take home.I finally ordered baklava for my dessert. I decided to take that home with me as I was so full from the kebab. The whole experience was amazing and well worth the money paid. I will definitely be returning to try other things next time.To Lisa, Yas/Yaz (the grill chefand all the people who worked hard to make my meal a delight for me to enjoy, thanks for a great experience, excellent service and great tasting food 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Shiraz BBQ, offers you a cosy ambiance, plenty of tables without feeling overcrowded. Music is played, pleasant and not loud and also toilet facilities.Definitely a place to return to again and again, right in the heart of Liverpool.
Really lovely place, food very reasonable and prices were very good with portion sizes on the large size. Would definitely return
This is one of the best restaurants we have been. Meals are very delicious. Staff are friendly. It is worth coming here from London for such a delicious food and lovely atmosphere.I said to waitress that I liked the sauce very much so she added extra new sauce for me in our takeaway food while we are going. We are so much satisfied and enjoyed. I recommend visiting there if anyone goes to Liverpool.
The food had been delicious. The attention was very good, they have been very kind. Totally recommended! ☺
The best mixed grill in Liverpool without a doubt 😋 👌 top class fresh juicy and full of flavour straight off the charcoal. Thanks for an awesome 👌 Lunch
Absolutely lovely food and the staff were amazing, so friendly, beautiful decor inside, warm and cosy, will be back hete again
Lovely place, food was fantastic. The female waitress went above and beyond. We will definitely call again the next time we are in Liverpool.
Absolutely amazing food at amazing prices couldnt finish it all but they provide a box for you to take home. Our waiting on girl was lovely and friendly nice little restaurant definitely worth a visit xx
I highly recommend this place the food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are really good. Its somewhere we go with all of my family. 😍
Beautiful restaurant. Delicious food and a fabulous atmosphere. We absolutely loved this find. Will deffinately come again.
📍 @shirazbbq LiverpoolWhat we ordered:Ali NazikShish TawookThoughts 💭Shiraz is the crown jewel of Liverpool they have several locations just in the city center. When we lived here we used to come weekly for a mixed grill 🤤. We swapped out for the above order and whilst still great it definitely isn’t as exceptional as the mixed grill. But, Shiraz is a must visit for anyone coming to Liverpool!
Me and hubby visited Shiraz on a day out to Liverpool. My god the food is delicious, the Turkish sausage starter ,I could of ate that all day everyday .The meals are large n they do lunchtime special menu which is really good value. Will definitely go again when visiting. oh n nicole the waitress was very welcoming n friendly 😁
Absolutely outstanding food would highly recommend and great service with it.Top place top value
I love Turkish food and found this place while walking around the city. Won’t say this is a “hidden gem”, as apparently it’s known to a lot of people, but certainly I was happily surprised. We ordered the chicken sheesh kabab and the fish kabab. The amount were great and the taste were up there with the bests. If I go back to that part of the city again, certainly going there.
We love this place. Travel over from Wirral to visit. All Covid secure . Friendly service. Kebabs, pizzas etc. Recommend the speciality kebab dishes - all cooked on charcoal grill and served with salad, rice, bread and sauce 👌
I was in the area early and was in need of something to eat for breakfast and this place was open. The customer service was excellent a lovely young lady whom was very helpful. The food was ok however could do with some improvements, presentation was good however. The place is decorated to a decent standard also.
Brilliant food. Tasty and freshly cooked before your eyes. Waitress was friendly and our food arrived quickly. Portion sizes are great. We now have breakfast sorted!
The food looks good but tastes very bad. From my experience, this is not how the Kebab or Kufta should be, it tasted like rotten meet and smells awful. Despite I have raised the concern to the staff they didnt offer anything to fix this issue and charged a full price while I ended up eating the rice and chips only, which wasnt the aim to begin with. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant at all.
Amazing Food! Great price! The restaurant is very clean and the staff is lovely!Food was perfect, very tasty. Good option in Liverpool
Firstly, it’s quite small so booking is recommended. We didn’t but luckily a table for 2 was just becoming available. Staff were very pleasant and friendly.Cheesy garlic bread to start - tasty but a large portion for two (be careful if you don’t want to be stuffed before your main!).The main dish was lovely - great chips, bread, rice and salad to accompany the meat selection.Their special sauce was also very tasty but I personally would like a more spicy option. All round excellent value across the whole menu. I noticed their burger meals were amazing value - table next to us got them and they looked great. They also serve breakfast.
Found this lovely place for dinner with some friends. Great place for families, food was amazing and the staff were excellent. Highly recommend. Pizzas were awesome 😊
