Shilo Inns Tillamook in Tillamook

My room smelled horrible 😫 like old carpet and animals. I did switch my room, smelt a bit better. But still smelled like old carpet ...hot tub was horrible. Temperature was good, but I couldnt sit down and relax, the surface of the hot tub was very bumpy and scratchy. Not pleasant at all.

Stay was “ok”. Staff is friendly, but the roomsare old and dirty. The carpet is disgusting with a lot of stains. The bathroom was not clean at all. It was calcified and we found hair from other guest in the bathroom and in the fresh made bed.

The room was fine. When I called, the pool was open, it is not. They didnt mention the store that is connected is closed. Two reasons a parent with two children would choose this hotel over others around.

Check in was a breeze. The room could not have been cleaner. The halls were quiet. As I start in many hotels, Shilo was quiet.Theyre was a beautiful vote of yes and a bog with lillys behind our room. The tv was easy to use and their was a mini kitchen with a microwave, sink and mini fridge. Also, the room was a great design with two beds and a table for two.. plenty of room!In the morning Shilo offers a mini breakfast bar with good coffee.Very friendly and professional staff.They offer an indoor pool, hot tub and workout room as well!Will visit again soon!

My husband and I stayed at the Shilo for our wedding anniversary. The bathroom stunk like urine. It seemed to be coming from the shower curtain. My husband informed the front desk on our second day. Rachel the front desk employee called room service to inform them that the shower curtain needed replacement. It didnt get done. When called to let the front desk employee that it didnt get replaced. She said she could send someone over to replace it. My husband and I didnt want to be disturbed. When I asked for a discount off our room. She acted like she didnt hear me. So no discount was applied. I wasnt satisfied with her lack of care. So I decided to call again on Tuesday September 6th 2022. Rachel answered my call. When I expressed my husband and I s disappointed with the room and lack of service. She apologized and said she would talk to her supervisor to see if we could get a discount. She never asked for my phone number. My husband has not mentioned anything about shilo inn reaching out to him about a partial refund.Very disappointed all around. Never going to stay there again nor will we recommend it to friends and family.

My wife and I had brought our new clackacraft Magnum to fish Tillamook Bay and had parked in the truck/rv parking. On the first night we had our boat tank almost full of gas stolen. 3 other people had incidents of gas theft that same night. Come to find out there is no video surveillance on the premises including the mini Mart in the front of the motel. I spoke to the manager who was more concerned about taking care/watching her disabled daughter while at work than she was the motel guests.

The room was quite large. The king bed and pillows were comfy. A bit of its age introduces itself through the nose, but otherwise comfortable accommodations. Convenience store on site; restaurants nearby; close to area activities.

For the price we payed I would expect a bit nicer rooms. Our bathroom was run down, out of date and had a ton of water damage. The shower head was from 1950 and blasted us really hard! The beds were hard and uncomfortable. Again I would expect a bit better for the price per night we had to pay. There was a convenient store attached which was good for the "continental breakfast" which consisted of bananas, muffins, orange juice. Not much of a continental breakfast in my opinion. We did enjoy the swimming pool and hot tub. We stayed only 1 night and I wouldnt want to spend multiple nights on those beds for sure. And whats with the phone by the toilet?? Its also from 1950 lol.

We visited and stayed years ago with a less stellar review, but we really enjoyed our stay this time. The room was basic, but very clean and comfortable. The Grab n Go breakfast was really lacking. Was hoping for a banana, but they were green. Dennys was a great option nearby. The pool and spa was awesome...could use more than the 2 chairs. But overall the check in/out was great. Very nice customer service. Will definitely be back!

Staff is great, Hotel is outdated. I feel dirty in the room, it has the old metal bed frames that are very loud and uncomfortable. We are on the bottom floor and it sounds like the ceiling is caving in all night from people walking upstairs. Its hot here but our a/c sound like a broke down truck. I dont think the swing lock on the door works. It does look like they are beginning to remodel the place so hopefully the owners get the point 👉 👇

My spouse stayed here for work and got one of the newly renovated rooms. Beds were comfy, quiet, centrally located, and it was clean. Will definitely stay again!!

This is a great place to stay for a bit while enjoying the beautiful Oregon Coast. We had an ADA room and it was wonderful except that in the bathroom they had an adjustable shower head that would not adjust, it was either all the way down at wheelchair level or hold it in your hand. It was a tub and a wheelchair would not even fit, so the shower was pretty worthless.

The manager, Toni, is so friendly and helpful! The rest of the staff were also friendly. We stayed at the right time, just when the pool, hot tub and sauna were all up and running again. We were pleased with the room having a microwave and fridge. When we needed more towels, they were quick to get us some. We did not have any noisy neighbors or any issues within our room. The construction took place mainly while we were out and about during the day, so it never bothered us. The grab and go breakfast was well-stocked each morning. It was also very convenient to have a little store right next to the lobby, and a Fred Meyer across the street. Overall, we just had a really pleasant stay. And to top off the great service, I realized after getting all the way back home that I had forgotten my pajamas on the back of the bathroom door, but the manager was willing to mail them to me! If we need to stay in Tillamook again, we are coming here!
