Shezan Indian Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Ad Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Good food , garlic nan is not that much ,
Best choice for Mughal cusine in Dammam. Dum Biryanis are really tasty. Chicken nilgiris is must try. Sizzlers are also good. Family friendly restaurant.
One of the best well-known Indian restaurants in the kingdom of Saudi (2 branches in Jeddah, 2 in Riyadh and 1 in Dammam). It’s been in business for long time and I’ve been eating their food since I was a kid. Never changed, always as good.
The Chef has been changed and the test of food became totally deferent👎🏼
Dont expect on biryani.
Shezan Restaurent is a family favorite, food quality is still great, although the furniture is nowadays considered old; yet what matters is food & service.
I purchased few naan from here. Expensive for 3 riyal per naan but weight and thickness was ordinary. Taste was average.
It is not that Indian rest. Where you can find the best taste food, it less than normal and does not worth it for its value and price.
One of the old Indian restaurant in Dammam. Normal food, normal teste.
Visited this restaurant to taste biryani, worst biryani.. Not worth for the money paid. I would not recommend this restaurant....
Late service. Average taste. Low Customer service
The manners of the restaurant staff are very, very bad and they did not respect me.This will be my last visit to this restaurant 👎👎👎
We happened to visit this restaurant because we were passing by this place and we were hungry.Visiting this restaurant made us regret our decision and proved why we shouldn’t visit a new restaurant without reading it’s reviews beforehand. We ordered- Mutton BiryaniWould rate 1/10if you’re a biryani lover you’d be seriously offended with the kind of biryani they are offering. For a moment we were confused if we ordered boiled rice or biryani since Mutton pieces were hard to find. Literally just boiled rice with biryani essence and colour sprinkled !!! Not just that, the quality of rice they used was third grade as they weren’t presentable and were in fragments.- Chicken JaipuriWould rate 7/10This dish had a proper ratio of chicken pieces and gravy in it. Wasn’t something very remarkable that would make us crave for it but was kind of okayish.- Naan, ordered them alongside chicken jaipuri.Would rate it 8/10If I would visit this restaurant again(which is highly unlikely for other obvious reasonsit would only be to takeaway their naan.- RasmalaiWould rate 6/10Taste was just fine, nothing extraordinary or not the sort of taste that you would crave for. Also, the plate size was too small for the price !!!!Overall, A VERY EXPENSIVE PLACE that too with below average food taste and plate size as well as a very stuffy ambience !!!!There are many other restaurants in Jeddah that offer much better food at rates that are justified.
This is not biryani, this is sad and depressed biryani. I hope someday it will go over it.
Don’t get fooled by the venue, inside its not worth at all, all items are either red or just cream this isn’t indian food. This is a restaurant mocking indian food and making money out of other nationals .
I’ve been going to this restaurant since i was a very little girl and the taste is always the same and it has never failed to be the best Indian food I’ve ever had and will ever had, nice and friendly staff, good service, amazing food .. I would say that the decor could be better but I don’t mind it because the food just makes up for everything, so if you want some really good and authentic Indian cuisine then this is the place to go:)
I’m very sad to say that this was the worst Indian food that I have ever had. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very low class. The service was ok but not great. The food, I ordered Chicken Quorma it was horrible. The sauce was very similar to Alfredo sauce, it was heavy and super thick. The Chicken Tikka Masala was also bad, the sauce was heavy and thick. The only good thing was the portion of food, but a lot of something bad is still bad.Do your self a favor and go somewhere else.
Food is amazing but service and people are not friendly to talk . They need to know how to welcome people and how to respond when people say thanks they say you are welcome
Well maintained hygienic.. Staff is very well trained to serve foodies.
Good food. Service is average. Beware of spicy orders as they blast chilli powder!!!
Average. Be careful when u order spicy food... Its might get spicy for u :-)
The best tomato soup, sadly cant say the same thing on the other dishes.
Delicious food, great staff, highly recommend tomato soup and 65 chicken 🍗
The food is very expensive with a very normal quality. The place, toilets and tables need to be cleaned.
Best Indian restaurant at Dammam! Average prices with unbelievable taste! The atmosphere is quite old and boring. Old decorated place.
Damqa maraq never gets old! same taste never changes simply the best indian restaurant in dammam
Best Indian food.My order was:Chicken Tikka masalaLamb BiryaniLamb NilgeryChicken 65Nan Bread 🍞
Much expensive n not at all real Indian tastes...not even spicy n using too much food colours..
Average indian food taste with acceptable service. Food is not spicy as i requested
NOT recommended! The Tandoori chicken was the worst one that I ever had in my life. Pathetic service and zero value for money. Stay AWAY!
Horrible experience, staff is disgusting. Totally disappointed.
Very expensive compared to what you will get. Quality of the food was very poor. Bathroom was very dirty and disgusting. I don’t mind paying more but I need some thing good in return
My favourite Indian resturant in Dammam. The food quality and service with an affordable price is the combination that I like. I am a frequent customer to this restaurant since 8 years ago and definitely will continue as long as they keep serving good food and service.
The nan is way too over priced, the food was mediocre. The restaurant needs a light because its too dark. The furniture is like the 60s old and worn.Overall my experience was underwhelming, and my friends were exaggerating about how hot the food was to my palate, it was only a hit of spice. Nothing special but I recommend a one night dinner if you feel funky.Your discretion is advised.
Detailed Review:Visited this Restaurant in Dammam Khaleej Road from no where a Indian Restaurant in terms of food taste.Quantity of Food:1.5 out of 10Quality and taste of food:2 out of 10Service and Hospitality:1.5 out of 10 very much delay in non weekend then what about weekend?Prices of items:Huh way tooo high for the food they are offering, you will get amazing taste and food in other similar restaurants , Like: De Delhi, Al kabsh, kabab Chinni. If you dont know the taste definitely visit, if you are a foody definitely a Big NO...For 19+ Riyals they are offering Biryani rice and the qty only a small kid apitite will fill n with full of color in ever dish not at all good for health. No critics, my views and review. Over all not satisfied..
I got out of the restaurant the second I saw the dirt in most of their table cloths. I asked the waitress why? The answer was it is hard to clean them 😅No need to try their food at all.
Restaurant has good ambience and a typical Indian restaurant with too much of food color. ( Most of the dishes ordered were all red ).Shrimps were really good ( item no.48 on the menu.
The food is good but the place is a bit out of date and dark. The staff is helpful and nice
The food was not good at all. It was like someone learning how to make Indian food and experimenting with the recipes. The place was too dark with depressive old decorations. The service was very bad.
Food is excellent. We ordered two types of breads and turned to be the same!Unfortunately the chicken source is not local.
The best Indian restaurant i have tried with family. Quality is main maintained every single time. We go for dining on regular basis since years
Food not bad but service poor as well as waiting for table time takes too long
Very bad taste. I used to come to this place since I was child it was authentic delicious indian food. Now its garbage 👎😷Guys please dont go this place even the service boy said hotel under loss. Really its a shocking experience but the bill part still in higher side with waste service......
Those who wish to have fresh, quality and tasty food, This the best for Indian restaurant in Dammam both in terms of food and ambience. Although menu is limited, all their available foods are yummy.
A really bad restaurant. If this is your first time, do not go. The smell is terrible. The food tastes really bad. If I could give a zero stars, I will give them. المطعم لا ينصح بزيارته ،، الطعام سئ جدا جدا ورائحة المطعم جدا سيئة
Need to rebuild the place old decore , bathroom not clean ,, plates there was black gear so foods were taste not good 👎🏻 be back at your earler time please..
Very bad taste. I used to come to this place since I was child it was authentic delicious indian food. Now its garbage 👎😷
