Very easy to book online and this boat tour has a very good reputation. Unfortunately, weather conditions prevented our first and our rescheduled trip. However, communication was excellent - email & SMS with 24hr notice of postponement. We were unable to make any other days and we received a refund automatically and promptly.

Great trip out to bird colony on Noss Island weather was not so good but felt I was in good hands

We took a morning trip in April. The tour was so interesting; the guide so knowledgeable and friendly. We were early in the season but we saw many birds on the cliffs and seals in the harbour. Phil also gave us invaluable advice of where and when to see more puffins during our stay in Shetland. This was the highlight of our trip, I’d recommend to everyone.

We’ve been on Phils boat just before Easter and beside it being a fun trip, it was also very informative, even if a bit early in the season to see many birds. Seeing the gannets dive is something we both will remember for a long time.100% recommend and if we go to the Shetlands again we will be repeating the trip 🤩🤩

Shetland in April served us some challenging conditions out on the water but rather than cancel the trip Phil managed to take us out on a slightly adapted tour.The whole group loved the trip where we got to see seals as well as a good variety of seabirds on the cliffs, in the caves and, of course, on the sea.The boat and equipment is all in good condition and at this price, I feel the trip is great value for money. Would definitely recommend to others if you have an opportunity to go out on one of their tours.

A brilliant tour with a very knowledgeable guide. We saw a wide variety of birds and even some Minke whales.But we also learnt such alot from the guide about the local wildlife.The boat was very comfortable and the tour was just the right length.A fantastic tour, excellent value , highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant morning. The gannet colony on the island of Noss is spectacular. We were lucky in that we seen both a Minkie whale and a pod of white beaked dolphins. The guy taking us out was very informative.If you love nature I highly recommend this tour.

One of the best things we have done in a long time, Phil was great, very knowledgeable and made the day. Just remember to wear some sort of head covering, you just might need it, near the Gannet colony.

Its an experience that its worth the trip to Shetland!We went the first time in May 2018 and we couldnt imagine what we were going to see! One of the most beautiful wildlife experience we have ever had! and we are used to the best wildlife in the world! Gannets diving just in front of the boat and Phil is so experienced to put the boat in the best position to have the right light and performance of the birds diving, that you can be sure to bring back home the shot of your life with the camera or videocamera! And what about the big seal jumping on the boat? Just breathless!I learnt so much with all the info they told us during the cruise about the wildlife surrounding us. We spotted Minke Whales, too.They run also a very nice b&b called "Ortolan House", very close to the harbour. We were so happy of this experience, that we decided to go back on August with a friend of ours to let him experience the "Shetland Seabird Tour". He was super-happy!!

What an amazing trip we had today. The guide was extremely knowledgeable regarding the birds, the environmental impact plastic waste is having on our seas and sadly the wildlife. He was very knowledgeable regarding the geology of the isles of Noss and Bressay. The interaction we had with the birds was breathtaking and non invasion. It gave us an insight into the how the birds interact with each other’s species for survival. I highly recommend this trip. I would certainly go on this trip again.

A is for Awesome. What an amazing experience expertly guided to some some of the most incredible cliffs around Shetland. Even if you’ve seen large seabird colonies before the Gannetry at Noss is an absolute MUST.

We had a beautiful day for our 2 hour trip. Our guide cum skipper was very knowledgeable on all the seabirds. We got really close up to them all. An amazing experience and the highlight of our holiday. Well worth the money.It would have been good to see a few seals too. Also I would have liked to return to Lerwick via a different route in order to see more of Noss and Bressay from the sea.

Fantastic, fun, professional and stunning, the weather was kind to us, our guide was knowledgeable and nice. I would highly recommend this trip its affordable, the only complaint i have is the time went to quickly.

Sadly doesnt run in September so I dont know what it is like 😢 although I am sure it is splendid when it does.

Absolut perfect trip today! Really the ultimative Shetland experience with thousands of gannets, very close seal contact and even puffins and porpoises. A great day out!

Reserved beauty 😊. Green, windy, friendly, expensive BTW 🙄. Except with a cruise excursion I cant imagine why one would want to come here 😀. Once you come though, you never regret 👍

Im a birder from the United States and had a great time on our Shetland Seabird Tours. We had amazing looks at Gannets and many other seabirds. We even had great views of seals too. The captain was great and the boat very safe. I highly reccomend booking a trip with this company 😎

This was not our first trip out to Noss to see the seabirds, but it was our first trip with Shetland Seabird Tours, and by far the most enjoyable.

Very good. Small numbers, very informative. Fantastic views of the incredible cliffs and seabirds. My husband has walking difficulties and he really enjoyed it too. Friendly and great coffee at the break too. Would definitely recommend.

Phil was an extremely competent guide, amazing trip (choose the afternoon tour if you can). Worth the money, and I am definetly booking another tour when I come back to Lerwick.

Great tour. It was late April, 2018 we saw a puffin, the captain said the first of the season. He was visibly excited!! Loved sea birds, extensive knowledge and loved sharing. Wonderful experience. Would highly recommend! Noss bird sanctuary is simply stunning!!

Piccolo gommone che consente facendo il giro della piccola isola di venire a contatto con le specie di uccelli marini che popolano le scogliere e vanno a pescare in mare,...possibilità di vedere foche in grotte e in mare aperto che arrivano ad avvicinarsi e ad appoggiarsi al gommone,...una foto in cambio di un pesce,..anche se forzata,...è una bella esperienza vedere questi animali ancora liberi e al sicuro nel loro habitat ,..senza recinti e vetri,..la professionalità della guida si apprezza nel non infastidire gli animali ...siamo noi gli intrusi....cercate di vedere , finché sarà possibile...bella esperienza,..da rifare.

Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Tolle Insel viele Papageitaucher gesehen.
