Odonohue Track, Sherbrooke VIC 3789, Australia, Cranbourne
Sherbrooke Falls - Scenic point in Cranbourne, Australia
The forest around here has some of the tallest trees in the world! The waterfall itself is less impressive, the walk there is the main attraction.
nice place to take photos.you can walk arround 1 -2 km.if someone want to feel bit wet go there.
30mins walk return, a small waterfall but easy to access nature
not much of a fall there but a good walk.. walk is about 1km each side. we took a pram with us but its not ideal and can be very bumpy and muddy. the falls were hidden behind all the bushes and trees
There are different approaches to getting up to the fall, so you have a lot of choices to browse once you think about blending and matching paths to suit your ideal degree of trouble and distance.Overall nice and quite path.
Good walk along the Sherbrooke track. Waterfall was less when we went today. Vehicles can be parked at Donohue track is steep. Good for walking down to the falls but better to walk back using Sherbrooke track.
Pretty good, worth a look, I walked from the end of jacka street in, about 700mtrs
I found that it was a very nice walk, peaceful and beautiful trees all around you although the “waterfall” was pretty disappointing not much of a waterfall I’d say but the wall itself and the location is still wonderful either way
Very small waterfall. Its a nice walk with a bit incline/decline.
Great Walking trails and plenty of parking. It can get very wet and slippery in Winter so would recommend going in Spring and Summer but still walkable.
One of the most underwhelming waterfalls in the world, but a lovely walk. Originally called Grahams Falls, after the founder of Sherbrooke Post Office - there was once a kiosk where you could have tea, beer and some scones, but that was a long time time ago.
A Walk after a rain, the view is fabulous. A bit tough for a part that is very steep. It takes me 2 hrs to finish the loop.
Easy trail to hike/walk but the falls were underwhelming.
Nice and short trail walk, it can get pretty slippery after the rain
Nice easy walk. Flat ground most of the way but very muddy and wet now. Went from the falls to the picnic grounds. There are tables and toilets at the picnic ground. Spotted lots of interesting birds. The falls itself seems quite small but it was a leisurely walk.
It’s should not be classified as a waterfall, it’s a “dribble-dribble, you know”. I’m a nurse, and i’ve seen more water dribble out of my patient’s mouth. *mic drop*
I didnt really know that the road will be "damaged" by fallen dead trees and a concealed waterfall behind fallen trees. It was muddy af. But wheres the fun in always walking through paved clean roads? Life is at the other end of your comfort zone mate. ⛰
Trail from Sandell’s Road entrance to the teeny Sherbrooke Falls ❤️
This is a great short walk for all fitness levels to the waterfalls and back, 10-15 minutes, or you can continue on with longer tracks to continue onto. Its a great spot to see lots of native birds, maybe even a wombat or echidna if your lucky enough. We saw evidence of them today but no actual sighting. If youve got a keen eye there is many varieties of fungi to find too.Great clean toilet facilities at the carpark along with several bbq & tables available to make a day of it.Get out and explore our great walks!
Great for a casual Walk. The walk path is amazing. So quiet and peaceful. There not a real fall though
Probably one of the best walks you can find in Melbourne. I recommend the forest section to the left of Monbulk Road rather than the right. The left side has smaller paths with plants closer making it more immersive.Eventually as you go further in, there will be no sounds of cars and all you can hear is the tranquil forest. The forest section to the right of Monbulk Road does have two or so steep hills if you are looking for a sweat.Sherbrooke Falls is a pitiful 30cm drop, dont make it a destination. Technically, the water falls from a higher depth but there is too much debris in the way and the bridge doesnt provide a good vantage point. The place is too muddy if its rainy. Lyrebirds are a common sight and if you are lucky you will hear them produce the sounds of 5 or more birds.
Great family friendly walk though Sherbrooke Forest
Great experience if you are just looking for a casual walk to unwind or even do some running through the greenery.. we saw a lot of runners even we went on a rainy day.. not much of a waterfall to watch but you will surely appreciate the nature and breathing cold fresh air.. take appropriate gear if you going on a rainy day - especially proper shoes and a raincoat..
The hike to the falls was very easy and beautiful but didnt expect the falls to be out of order. I mean, theres alot of fallen branches blocking the water and cant really see the falls! Supposed to be the highlight of the hike.
Enough parking and toilets on site which is always great when you have kids, and only a short drive from Melbourne. There is the option of two walks; a more direct one to the Falls themselves (about 2km?), or a much longer circuit so the trip is more worthwhile (6km from memory). The kids managed the trek just fine. The falls and walk were very lovely and there are plenty of other walks, tracks, gardens and shopping strips/cafes to explore in the vicinity making it a worthwhile day trip that you dont have to cater for!
Nice chill walk but not much water in the falls
It is utterly fantastic place for walks and picnics. Birds and very tiny falls.
Short walking only 1.2 ks to the fallsMake sure you have a proper hiking boat cuz it is muddy must the timeThere is 2 parking area that you can park your car ,first one at the bottom of the falls and the other one is at the top of the fallsActually there’s not anything Particular really just a small falls
Fantastic walk, beautiful creek and little waterfall to reward you at the half way point.
Beautiful place to go with family. Nice view from the bridge.
A small yet beautiful waterfall surrounded by large ferns. A fun hike through a lush forest.
Very calm place with fresh air and sound of bird chirping all around(pleasant to hear). Easy walk for about 1.2 km to the falls. Not to except a big waterfall, it’s a very tiny waterfall that can be viewed from the bridge. No place to sit by the waterfall, just walk ahead of the bridge and you can see a bench to take a pit stop. A worth walk away from the crowd
Its an easy, short walk from Sherbrooke falls car park. The last few meters to get to the falls (which is generally a trickle of water -dont expect Niagra falls herecant be done with a pram. The forest is beautiful with lots of ferns and towering Mountain Ash trees. The falls themselves need a bit of a clean up with lots of fallen and washed down vegetation clogging the stream up.
Fabulous easy walk for all the family to a spectacular waterfall. The falls themselves are somewhat hidden by dense ferns, but the bridge over the falls allows a quick peak at the water flow. Theres no where to sit down and relax once you have reached the falls, but there is a bench a little further up the steps over the falls which joins up with other tracks. Parking is on the side of the road, there is no established carpark and no toilets available, so make sure you go before you go!
One of the rare spots in Dandenong Mountain created by the nature. Absolutely lovely place with chance to enjoy wildlife near the big city. Not so far from Melbourne here everyone can enjoy the company of few type of birds and when you looks deep deep in the nature can find more interesting animals. Give a try and enjoy not so long pathway to do falls as well, not a crazy fall, but the sound of the water can bring everyone to the another level. Recommended!
Short easy walkVery small fall
Daughter and dad out for a walk. This was pretty easy, and with not much water flowing the falls were quite tame. Didnt realise there were so many well marked paths to take. We will be back to try some of the different tracks. People were really friendly and recommended some good local tracks and spots afterwards. As always, thanks to Parks Vic staff for making the tracks easy to find and navigate.
The waterfalls are rather boring but the surrounding hiking trails are incredible. There’s an infinite combination of trails available and the nature is simply incredible.
Nice trail to the falls (1.2km), just a few steps at the end where the pram will struggle. Yes its a tiny "falls" so dont expect something like the Niagara falls. Otherwise it is a nice forest 🌲, birds 🐦, wildlife.
This was so peaceful! It had just rained so I just took my shoes off and walked in the mud, it was a beautiful experience (with a few weird looks 😆)
Great place for a relaxing hike. We went on a rainy day, but that did not stop our adventure! After the rain, the trees had their colours enhanced, and it looked lush! The waterfall itself was just average, but the journey towards it was great.
Sherbrooke Falls has a well-trodden and safe trail for all ages, that takes 2 hours even for the most curious walkers and has plenty of native flora to enjoy. The waterfall itself is a calming spectacle unless youre out during peak melt times.
Sherbrooke Falls has a well-trodden and safe trail for all ages. The main track take 2 hours even for the most curious walkers and has plenty of native flora to enjoy. The waterfall itself is a calming spectacle unless youre out during peak melt times.
It’s a nice place to visit, have a walk and enjoy its sceneries. However, if you are expecting an extraordinary place, this is not it.
Great short hike on a easy grade trail. Doable by all ages. It does get a little muddy after it rains. Waterfall is best scene after a big rain, won’t be much if not. Good experience.
Small waterfall, but good for a walk
Really nice, easy tracks for a relaxing walk. The falls are more like glorified rapids but definitely still pretty. Great place to go for a walk without the crowds of 1000 steps.
Peaceful walk to these falls with trees and ferns. Only a small trickle of water that you can view from a landing.
This track is amazing , leads you in to the deep dense forest , tall trees , so serene so peaceful A must visit place
Perfect place to stroll around. I went there in the summer and there was no water at the falls. Regardless, its cool to walk in the woods and you get to see a lot of wildlife (spotted a lyrebird). The trail is rather flat so you dont get to experience a lot of elevation.
