Good atmosphere, super singer, good service even though busy, cant spell, but hey ho

Lovely staff, great beer. Not visited much in recent years, so they wouldnt know me. But I went to watch the football and they offered to put the volume on my nearest screen, generally looked after me well. The only downside was a fly or two that kept trying to swim in my Paltrow. But it was still summer, so I should give some leeway 🤭

Great little Irish bar with helpful, friendly staff and a great vibe. Good, decent and very fair doorstaff, who are clearly very experienced and accustomed to the occasional overexcited customer, especially on special occasions or football nights. Worth a visit

Very disappointed with our visit to Shenanigans!! No music or atmosphere, it’s just like another pub . Guinness was lovely though . We’ve seen to Dublin recently and it’s nothing like that 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪😞😞😞😞

A very nice pub, alcohol is fairly priced the atmosphere here, expecially after a football match or on a Saturday night out is absolutely insane. Definitely a must visit if your looking for a good pub for a chilled night.

I was in there last night drinking the caffreys dry. Fantastic irish bar with great staff. Next time im in the southampton area i will defo pop back in there.

I only stayed for a couple of drinks but nice venue, good selection of drinks and the staff were very good.

Brilliant wee bar! The live music is great and very much lacking in bars in Southampton. The bar staff and Ged are helpful, good craic and efficient! With customers lining the bar, they whizz through them (hate waiting ages at bars to get servedand the lively but warm atmosphere is the icing on the cake! Can’t wait to get back in!!!

We came to this pub for 2019 New Years Eve. There was a group of 4 of us looking for a nice pub with a bit of atmosphere in what otherwise is the abyss of the Southampton Uni Scene.This pub is in a great location, not far from eateries or other bars, but why would you want that?We got there quite early but it was already busy. We asked the doorman if they were any tables available to which there werent. Not too upset by this a few of us had a cig outside, only to have the owner, Jed (a lovely Scottish bloke in a brilliant Irish bar - I know theres a joke somewhere in that!pop out to us to tell us he had reserved one for four of us. How brilliant!The pub started filling up, a fantastic little Irish band began playing, the atmosphere was incrediblely lively and fun with all the patrons in great NYE spirits. We had a nice chat with Jed who was out helping the guys and gals clear away drinks and serving behind the bar. Hes a top bloke extremely nice!Id definitely recommend this place if you want to be away from the Southampton Uni club scene but not actually far away enough that youre in the middle of nowhere. Its a great place with reasonable prices on the drinks and generally all the staff were really helpful and efficient all smiling and laughing. I think this place will be a huge success and would love to see more authentic bars and pubs in Southampton like this

Went there for new years eve there were 6 of us and the owner Jed was very accommodating getting us seated and was very welcoming. The atmosphere was brilliant and the place was very friendly with a band playing Irish music and everyone singing there was a great age range of people and the place had a lovely Irish atmosphere which southampton needs. The prices are good and the bar staff and security were very welcoming and helpful ,We will definitely be making this our regular place and wish all the staff and Jed a great success!

Lovely change from the usual bars in this area of town. Warm welcome from staff, especially Vlad who was more than a welcoming host to me. Live music is awesome and Ill be back as often as my days off allow.

When I visited this place it had such a great atmosphere with amazing bar staff, everyone was so nice and it felt so welcoming! Drinks were fantastic too, couldnt recommend it any higher!

Amazing bar staff but management clearly have no respect for their own employees and it makes the atmosphere very unwelcoming. Also seemed to be very dismissive of the female staff in particular. Will not be returning

Good pub overall with great bar staff. Unfortunately the vibe was toxic due to the manager and his friends making extremely inappropriate jokes about a female member of staff. The manager needs to work on his people skills!

Ive never visited such a mysoginistic establishment in my life! The manager had no respect for any of the bar staff and allowed large groups of older men to intimidate and talk down to them. I asked if the lady was okay and she simply sighed and said it was normal. The value of an establishment is not only about the customer service but the respect for the staff too. Will never step foot near the place again. Good luck when the older male customers die off.
