Good location, fast service

Delicious food and a good place to hang out after a long day at the beach !

Had dinner on 21st Dec and the food is great but it is a bit chaotic with only a bunch of staff trying to serve large number of customers; they still maintain a smile though

Food is average and its a cosy little cafe by the beach. Service might be a little slow and it needs reminder when crowded...but nothing serious though. I still enjoy my coffee and do some people watching by the beach.Update #2: we bought some takeaway for our dinner in hotel and the spaghetti aglia olio was great! Flavorful with garlic n cheese 👍

Beautiful decorated/ ambiance cafe right across the beach. They have Indoor as well as outdoor seatings. The breakfast and coffee was amazing too. The staff was very kind and the service was excellent. We have early morning 5 am flight so they packed our breakfast in advance.

Dont hesitate! Funny English sentences on the wall takes you attention first, you decide to drink a fresh and stay for a full meal of big portion of potapoes-tuna salad plus a nice big portion of Asian style chicken noodles. Was good and not expensive. Actually interesting variations of well known dishes but absolutely tasty. Many foreigners as guests. The restaurant does not need much adds any more. It is a self-runner!

Friendly staff delicious food

We had a 2 night layover in Male on route to Vilamendhoo. Both nights we ate at Shell Beans and really enjoyed our meals. Very yummy pizza! Staff were very friendly and service was great. Will def recommend to anybody staying over in Male.

Its located besch front and the customer care is wonderful. Like the food specially chef salad.

Right on the waters edge. Dont expect maldivian food, its catering for westerners but the food is good quality. And the smoothies are fantastic!

Lovely cafe. Food is well cooked & well presented. We stayed in the hotel here & so ate here often. The menu isnt very extensive, but all very nice. Portions are a good size, not too big or small.Staff are attentive & speak good English.

This is a gem in hulumale. Our Airbnb host recommended this place and we loved it. We tried other places but we keep coming back to this place. Food is absolutely the best (price wise and tasteand the staff are super friendly and social.They made us feel at home. Thank you Saifu and Miran for the outstanding hospitality and customer service. My girls (11 and 14and I traveled to the Maldives for our vacation. Prior to even landing in the Male, we had heard great things about Shell Beans Hulhumale. We were not disappointed and enjoyed some of the best, most flavorful food of our trip. The service was spectacular and the location picturesque. Highly recommend a visit!

Good food and really delicious. This is my 2nd time at maldives. Lovely cafe and staff really polite. Ambience at this cafe really lovely. Just their service a bit slow but satisfied with the food taste. Price just same with other restaurant.

I spent 20 hours traveling to get to the Maldives and didnt want to risk with my first break.We looked into what was close nearby and with good ratings and we decided to go for Shell Beans.The salon was OK, the tuna steak with tomato and olives was way too dry. Nice restaurant with outdoor and indoor (with ACseating. Quite a big menu with a selection of local, western and Japanese food. Tasty food, good juice, great service.

Our little Oasis in the building and trash madness of Hulhumalé. Loved the food, drinks and view. You can sit inside, outside on the porch and the beach. Great vibes and the staff was friendly.Great bar/bistro/café food from burgers to sushi, from iced teas to delicious milk shakes and don’t forget the deserts. They even offer a Vegan Burger.Yes, we will be back for breakfast.

a good place. great food. large portions. it was very pleasant to sit in the evening. bill for two with coffee and dessert $ 30. Please do not serve cappuccino in such giant cups !!! it would be nice to put pillows on hard chairs. recommend.

The food is very tasty and the interior design is nice. The first time I came to eat everything was perfect. When I return the second time I ordered pancakes. after 20 minutes I asked to hurry the order because I had to leave for the airport, but still 35 min later the food was not ready, so I had to leave. I actually would recommend this place but the whole situation just left a bad feeling. Hope next time you can improve

Never expected to get Japanese food in Hulhumlalé, but Shell Beans had it all, and it was great! Also tried spaghetti Bolognese and it was the best. The restaurant may be small, but they have separate air conditioned area for non-smokers. There is also ample beach front seating space.

Everything was fine. Food was delicious. But the service was really slow.

This is our standard port of call when returning home from Soneva Fushi and staying the night on Hulhumalé before flying out early the next day. It can be a real struggle to find good food on Hulhumalé, particularly when one has grown accustomed to the outstanding cuisine of a resort island, but Shell Beans offers good meals for a reasonable price.

When you in transit hulhumale.... you have to find this coffee shop!! The location is next to hilaya inn.... we tried sheel bean in the morning, and the coffee is good enough. The staff is very friendly, price same with starbuck but better taste....

Branch of the famous main restaurant in Malé city, this really is one of the quite-few nice places to eat in Hulhumalé.. The only thing about it is that the place is too small you can hardly feel comfortable

Been here a few times. Maybe 6 months or more between each visit.I want to be impressed by the food here, but that day has yet to come.A far cry from the food available in the Malé outlet.However, the place is really nice and cozy. Beautiful interior and all. Staff are very welcoming.And they have free WiFi too.
