Nice view. Several choices of relaxing hiking trails with stunning view. Dragons Back trail is one of the most famous attractions with view of the south China sea, fit for family trip. Big Wave Bay, and Pottinger Peak country trail are also good choices. May expect to view Tai Tam Harbor, Siu Sai Wan, and people play paragliding nearby sometimes. Cape Collison and DAguilar Peak trial are moderate level trails. DAguilar Park is a rural marine park with stunning stone and geographical attractions.

The "dragons back" trail is easily accessible by route no. 9 bus at both ends, offers excellent view, and suitable for beginner hikers. Recommended.

Beautiful rock beach, easily accessible just a short 10-15 minute walk away from the Shek O bus 9 bus stop. Lots of boulders for rock climbers to climb as well! There is a bit of trash in certain areas but volunteers have come to clean the beach up recently. The headland area is very nice as well though the hiking path is a little overgrown.

View are very stunning. A nice track which is good for hiking.But full of people. Very crowded. Hard to get a real fresh air and definitely hard to take a picture there.

Top notch Hong Kong nature park with very easy access using public bus. Absolutely unnecessary to use private vehicles. The climb is quite easy and the park itself is beautiful. The view is fantastic! Drones can be flown here.

An easy trail for beginners! End it at the big wave beach to cool down!

A lovely place for a round of golf when in HK. Quite a short course, will take 3 hours or less to get round 18 holes but very picturesque.

Lovely hike onto the dragon back, a great trek suitable for all members of the family. Coupled with picturesque sceneries, it makes a perfect day trip.

Not too hard, using about 2 hours from To Tai Wan to Tai Tam Gap (not to Big wave beach). Every people looking for peaceful place should try.

Good place to hike. Be ready to have water and do not miss bus on way back (last one at 6pm)

We have done the Dragons back hike.It is really wonderful!We advice you to take a bus number 9 and go until the stop To Tei Wan, from there you can directly go up. Once on the top, the main hiking path goes to the left, but if you have spare half an hour, go first to the right to enjoy wonderful views from rocks.Then, you follow the main path to the left. But be careful with time, the first exist will be in a couple of hours.Take water with you!

The dragons back trail is amazing, the views are incredible. Depending on the route you take it can take 2-3hrs at a normal walking pace. Make sure you bring plenty of water and have comfortable hiking shoes, though this trail isnt "hard" there is no "backing out" once youre halfway, youll have to finish.

Wonderful place for hiking

I thought i needed to book a guide to bring me here and hike, you can find everything on the net. Even the trail on GPS.

Not as fun as the Dragons back tail, but still worth doing. not much of scenery, but still a love look y walk through nature.

The dragons back seems to be an amazing trial. Unfortunately we were caught by a rain shower and the sight was very poor due to clouds. Will come back :)

One of the most beautiful hikes in Hong Kong

Overall rating would be very satisfied. Would definitely recommend to hike this place. It is easy hiking route. We hike around March 2019 period which also raining and windy season. Temperature between 16-21 degree. It was very chilling due to strong wind, cold temperature and cloudy throughout entire journey. The entire journey takes about 2 and half from Dragons back to when O peak and then to Big Wave Beach (with stop)During the hike, we are lucky that there are no direct sunlight because it will be very hot and most probably will get sunburn because the route is mostly expose to sun due to no big trees around. Please make sure to apply sunblock is hike going near noon and it is not cloudy.

Trail course for beginners, nothing up and down, distance 8-10km. Winter is high season and so many hikers.

A easy hiking trail to get some fresh air in the Hong Kong Island. It leads the way to Ms. Willy the whale. Remember to watch the radio array at the cape.

Just where you should be for a relaxing tramp. Amazing views. Public transport was great.

Love the cooling hike in January. Manageable for young and old. Beautiful scenary. Nice to pack some food for picnic and to enjoy the breeze. Remember to apply lip balm if u dont want chapped lips from the cold breeze.

Dragons back is a very nice hike and one of the easiest hike in Hong Kong. It ends on Big Wave bay beach. Its worth it. A very nice place to hangout with friends and family. You can check out some pics which I have attached here too.

Great hike. Long trails and amazing views. Would highly recommend. This trail generally pretty easy to walk without any large obstacles.

Awesome.place , hike.is good,Dont go if its raining a lot of slippery slopes.U probably should wear long sleeves and pants, otherwise ud end up with a lot of scratches in ur arms and legs

A good hike and stunning views. Just avoid overcast days. Its worth getting to the Dragons Back. Its a medium difficulty hike, carry enough water and some snacks. The bus stops right where you start the hike, so it couldnt be any more convenient to get to!

Magnificent view and easy to access hiking trail. Recommend for everyone that want to check out another face of hongkong , other than bustling city life. No shade along the way, only a few shelter for you to hide yourself from rain. So please plan to come here in a sunny day, as there is nothing higher than an adult standing to attract lightning strike in the park.
