Sheba Hotel in Hajjah

Nice place

The Sheba Hotel was previously knows as Taj Sheba Hotel. It used to one of the premium hotels in Sanaa and also located in prime location just near the Central Bank and Tahreer street. We used to have many of our school programs held there. I still have the memories binded into me where we used to refresh near the swimming pool and Taj Sheba used to serve food for our Independence day and republic day programs which were held at the Indian Embassy of Yemen. The pineapple cake from Taj Sheba used to be my Bday cake for more than a decade. They used to have a lot of pastry options in late 90s and early 2000s. I hope the hotel comes back to its early glory as soon as possible.

Good 5 Stars Hotel in the middle of Sanaa

A quiet and unique place, where you can have a variety of activities.

Needs a bit better organization and decoration of the outdoor patio..but in general not bad considering the countrys situation

Comfortable place with very good service

Its okay, not as fancy as it was. It needs electrical maintenance since there are no working plugs in the room I was in. There food menu is small and the dinning room is small too. Overall its good for local events, however I dont recommend sleeping in it.

5 stars hotel in Sanaa. Currently the best in Sanaa and only one 5 stars. They do held trainings, seminers, parties, lunches and conferences.Highly recommended for UN and diplomates visiting Sanaa

Horrible service. Hotel rooms smell like sewege due to the lack of occupancy. And when you complain there is nothing to be done except apologies that done mean anything. Also, what is promised is not what is delivered. Bad experience

The place is in need for renovation, especially the conference center (and change the color theme for gods sake, brown is the ugliest color u can find)

Simply the best hotel in Yemen. I stayed at the hotel about a week and experienced the friendly staff and excellent care. It truly felt like home and I can’t wait for my next visit.

Its one of the oldest hotel in Sanaa. Before the war the place was great . But after that the hotel become neglected. Sometime, I excuse them but they have to improve their place. On Fridays, they have a family weather and relaxed. But they have to improve their services because of their price. Their food doesnt appropriate with their price. The hygiene is not that good.

Good services, rooms are comfortable.But the food is bad and tasteless.

In 1999 when I stayed at this hotel, it was called Taj Sheba, part of the Taj Group of India. Hotel was the best in all of Yemen. Food was great. The chef took special care of my requests.

It has nice facilities but not as what Ive expected comparing to the price offered.In term of security (fantastic)Have there own guards and secured parking area.
