You know the place is good and passionately operated when the simplest food like beef pie tastes delicious.Shawny’s is well presented and is ran very welcoming. Highly recommended spot to go on Kalbarri, I insists people should visit this place.

Great place!! Super convenient hours - theyre open Sun-Fri from very early until pretty late, staff are lovely, and the food is excellent. The pies are seriously some of the best Ive ever had and are a steal for that size and quality. Dinner menu changes daily and is posted each day on their Facebook page.

Thank goodness the two fish and chips take aways were closed,let us down.Because of this by chance we found Shawnys,highly recommend this place.Real home made pasta dishes with real large pieces of meat,beef and vegetables pie with majority real meat instead of cheaper vegies,pity its our last day here.

Best pies Ive ever had in my life! Not your usual fillings either, so much flavour and the pastry is perfect. Highly recommend this hidden gem, worth finding and were only sad that we went here on day 3 of our stay in Kalbarri!

Amazing food, well priced, nice service, worth a visit

After being told the fish n chips would be one hour and pizza half an hour, we walked round the bend to see this little gem. Bought take away home made dinners and drinks for a very reasonable price all ready to go. Sat on the foreshore overlooking the bay and watched waves crashing in the distance. The food was delicious plenty of real meat and veggies. Glad we found them. Apparently they make a yummy breakfast pie.

Shawnys has the best pies Ive tasted. Each day the menu changes. All are homemade by the owner (Shawny?who has great passion, pride and dedication. Open from 5am-9pm which is unusual in Kalbarri. GREAT tasting homemade pies, dinners and sandwiches - all full to bursting and very well priced, with a focus on vegan and gluten free too. Also offer lots of taste dessert options and homemade jams/marmalades.

although i was there only for a couple of minutes I could tell that the owner had a kind heart. You can see that it’s very clean.It’s a very good shop because most others close at 6.30 but this is open until 9! great because it has the necessity like milk and fresh bread.

Some of the best food in Kalbarri! There are gluten free options and the cottage pie is hands down the best Ive ever had. I was pleased to find that there are frozen meals and desserts as well. Hearty servings and friendly service. Check their facebook page for daily menu changes.

6 stars quailty pies. Best breaky pie eaver ate in my life. The shop is behind of supermarket. Local grandma recomanded it.

Food is brilliant. Tried the beef pie and the gluten free lime tart. Alot if gluten free options which is a nice change. Staff are lovely.

We were in Denham and received a recommendation, that if we were in Kalbarri, make sure we get a pie from Shawny’s. We had already planned an overnight stay, and so we stopped in. The pies (brekky and eggs Benedictwere awesome. The freshness and tastiness of the pies were second to none. Wish we had more days to try more pies and food. Recommend a stop in.

Great place to take away some pies. Egg Benedict pie is yummy. Panang Chicken pie is a tad too wet for me but tastes decent.

Very delicious food!

Don’t miss this place! They had a nice selection of DELICIOUS pies, I had the chicken tikka and my partner the beef madras. Both fantastic! Generous portions. A lovely lady (I assume Shawnywas very friendly and welcoming, and gave us tips on where to go on our travels. Perfect.

Such delicious food, and a very affordable option for eating out as a family. We got to try all the meals on offer to pick which we liked the best. By far the tastiest food in kalbarri!

Id vote it has the friendliest service in the Southern hemisphere, and absolutely delicious food, I would encourage any visitors to Kalbarri to visit this wonderful kitchen.

Loved the pies that were a generous size and had yummy fillings! The curries were also delicious! Shawny and her staff very friendly and let us try first before deciding. Went back twice during our visit. Will strongly recommend to anyone visiting Kalbarri.

Bought the whole crew a bunch of pies today and absolutely loved them! We had a few Breakky pies and a few Eggs Benedict pies and all were delicious! Highly recommended for pies for breakfast and lunch, and also for dinner where they have a different selection each night of piping hot takeaway meals like Cottage Pie, Lasagne, Moroccan Beef and Rice, Creamy Pasta with Chicken and Bacon and my favourite Butter Chicken with Rice.

Shawnys pies are stunning...melt in your mouth pastry andpacked full of flavour.We got the last 2 as they sold out so quickly.The types vary daily.These are pies definitely made with passion!

Went there on a Saturday night and was a big let down. Food was not nice and not a good choice. Not children friendly. Would not recommend.
