Shawarma Time in Kamloops

I ordered though skip the dishes and was not pleased with my order. When I called the restaurant, they genuinely understood my concern and provided 100% service recovery. I will order from here again and I will tell all my friends about the quality of the service I received.

I had ordered this through skipthedishes upon seeing the good reviews. But much to my dismay, the quantity they gave for a $17.5 Chicken Shawarma Plate was simply not enough (no where near the portions pcitured here for dining-in). It was a few pieces of chicken along with a few fries. I live in Toronto and am quite aware of what good shawarma and good portion sizes look like. I understand prices are higher in Kamloops (and it wasbut I at least expected a reasonable portion size.I drove back to the store to mention this to the owner, who simply responded that they cant fit more for takeout orders. Im sorry but this is just unacceptable and makes no sense. Even if this is the issue, either charge less for take-out/delivery items as you are giving far less portion size, or just use larger packaging (who wouldve thought).I really do believe in supporting community business, especially during a tough time like this, but I would also want to get reasonable food ...

I have benefitted from reading reviews for years, but never felt inclined to write my own until now. We were passing through Kamloops yesterday and decided to stop here for a quick dinner. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and the food was great! They even gave us a dessert which was such a lovely surprise and warmed my heart :If you can still support local businesses, I encourage you to stop in. We are living in difficult times and local businesses need the communities help to stay afloat! Looking forward to stopping in again on my next visit to Kamloops.

Excellent food! I was missing an item from my order from Skip. By the time it was delivered, Shawarma Time was already closed for almost an hour, but to my suprise they answered the phone, and the man offered to hand-deliver the missing item at almost 11:30 at night. I told him it wasnt necessary, but he wasnt taking no for an answer. Lots of places that do not care these days, but this isnt one of them

Bought some Chicken Shwarmas from here the other night and they were excellent. Also tried the Moutabal (roasted eggplant dipand it was amazing. Smokey deliciousness.

Food was really good.But the service was very slow and sorry, but the guy who was serving it was uncomfortably sweaty. Also forgot the bread with my order.

It was our first try at this place, and it was awful. Food was served cold, meat was overcooked, and not sliced how you would expect looking at shawarma grill. I got rice instead of fries I asked for.My friend ordered shawarma wrap. The wrap was just bought in the Superstore (my guessinstead of being baked at the restaurant as it should be. The same with humus (from Superstore).

Very nice staff and excellent food. Both in taste and presentation. The restaurant was very clean and had a great modern look. Absolutely recommend.

This restaurant makes authentic Syrian shawarmas that are delicious ! The portions are generous, the shawarma plate is plenty and everything tastes fresh. We also tried the crêpe for dessert and it tasted like a real French crêpe! The owner is super nice and friendly. Im so happy to have this new restaurant in town, definitely going back again!

Food is authentic and truly Arabic, even the way it is served! This place is run by a Syrian refugee family who came to Canada 3 months ago. Go and show some love to these people having the courage of a thousand men!👏🏼💚

It was very friendly service in a welcoming atmosphere. We found the food to be as wonderfully delicious as the aroma promised, my family and I would definitely recommend for a delightful meal.

Had the lamb shawarma takeout, mediocre at best to tell you the truth. No sauce, very dry and nobody was very impressed with it. Possibly an off day?

Absolutely worst shawarma I have ever had in my life.The guy pretty much wrapped the garlic sauce with pitta bread and gave it to me as Shawarma. Unfortunately I was already on the road to the airport and couldn’t go back to complain.I wouldn’t even eat this shawarma for free.

Tasty lamb shawarma, fattoush salad, fries, hummus, kebbeh, and tea.

We really enjoyed our dinner here, they have breakfast options for earlier in the day as well. The shawarma plates are large and very tasty, the shawarma sandwich is a good size and also very tasty. Shawarma Time Tea is an Arabic style black tea with cinnamon, that compliments the meal well. Good authentic shawarmas.Desserts options include lazy cake, custard square, rice pudding, baklava, and Nutella crepes - all good options. We look forward to being regular customers.
