Average place. Very good if you have interest in history or if you are from west. Some of the eastern and south asian countries still have this culture alive so theres nothing very antique or unique in it for them. Museum could have been made much better than it.

Sharjah is not like Dubai, is very tradiotional an that is scary because they dont tolerate you

Amazing experience ...visit in the evening preferably on a Friday Evening as the place comes alive... There is an excellent Souq within amazing for Antique Shoppers and Collectors ...and at good prices if you know what you are buying ...sometimes you can strike Gold

I was in Sharjah for a few days and our host decided to take us here. It was a nice outing as we were introduced to the work of different artists. I particularly love the work done on the maps and the message they carry.

Unfortunately, it was undergoing rehabilitation but they let us in with a friend of mine.. D place looks inviting amidst d tools being prepared for d preparation of d theater.. I took an oath to come back n experience der theatro.. 😘😘

Worth the visit. Food is really good and price is reasonable also. Ordered shrimp beryani, fatoosh and Lugaimat. Arabic coffee is great. Must try this restaurant because you can set outside and enjoy lovely view.

Nice place for a weekend outing in desert with family plus a close chance to understand the heritage of Arab art culture.

I liked it...so traditional..muesuem shows the rulers of emirates..old stories regards trading of pearls for goods before UAE dirhams...the cultural and daily living of typical Emarati family....digferent weapons used..pictures of sailormen..besides the museum, there were old men selling pearlsin the outside market...sooo much expensive but adorable pearls..other ladies were real life baking..was a special night to those interested in history of the UAE.

Sharjah city is considered to be the cultural capital of the Middle East and the local people here appreciate art, culture and history in all its form, be it raw, modern or from a bygone era. Its a nice place to find information on civilization and the advent of Islam.

This is sharjah heritage village, u will find the way old houses use to be done, there is beautiful museum about how uae use to be, their culture their customs and food, very well maintained, clean. Very sad that people doesnt know it and very few people go.There are other museums in the area.

Its a only sightseeing point in Sharjah. It nice to learn about the "bedouin". The thing I most like was the flea market.

This place is looking really nice with their refurbishments but it feels like theyve modernised it too much. Its great but its lost the charm of the transitional architecture. Buildings spread out wth minimal program within.
