It is an excellent museum showing maritime history of UAE. Ancient utensils, tools, different types of boats, old navigating devices, dress used for fishing, pearl hunting tools etc are available. You will get the history of UAE old life as well. Variety of small boats are available at museum. Located nearby Sharjah Aquarium. Parking same for aquarium. Kids play area available just outside. Nice place, little small. Hope they got some activity for the kids. It was a great visit for me. I recommend anyone have time to visit and get informed about the history of this area. Also you can use the same ticket to visit Sharjah aquarium so its a win win for you.
It was a nice informative museum but no activities for kids to interact and learn. It would of been nice to walk onto an actual boat to bntter understand and learn. But it was clean and well displayed as an exhibition
Lot of boats, cultural aspects of UAE’s fishing community are on display in this museum. Entry is complimentary with Aquarium ticket, basically you have to show the same aquarium ticket for a free entry to this museum!

Right next to the fish aquarium. Entrance ticket allows entry to both fish and maritime museum.Grand hall of a large collection of boats and local history of fishing and associated activity.
Very Good historical museum
I liked the place with all the ships and boat models available there, they also show you very good details about ruby and the process of extractions. The ticket price is fairly good only a few comments are that they can add more models or even do some visual shows, also, the parking area is very small to find a place there.
Interesting place to learn about the historical fishery industry and shipping industry. Especially the focus on pearl trading which was the leading industry of UAE in old days is very insightful. It is located adjacent to Sharjah Aquarium.
Very beautiful tourist attractions point in Sharjah, very near to Sharjah Aquarium. Huge collection of ancient marine cultural objects and various ships. Nice ambience, clean and very well designed.
Its annexed with Sharjah aquarium. Maritime trade and artifact fans can surely enjoy it. You will see lots of Sharjah old time boats, pearls and models depicting the history. You can utilize same ticket for Sharjah aquarium. Its a small museuem but worth visiting. Timings are till 8pm.

The entry was free for the aquarium ticket holders. The museum is a good place to see the life of the ancestors of the Emirati. However, the mesum lack dates on the items in display. For kids it would be better if there is some activity related to maritime.

Very nice place to visit if you want to know more about Arabian maritime history.
It is so nice to come here, especially with family or friends. In here we can see and learn about the ship the boat, the culture of fisherman, the culture of the pearl trading. So it will make us know more about the history of Sharjah as the center of the trading place in the past. The place is not too small and not too big. And the price is also cheap, just 25 for 2 places, Sharjah maritime museum and Sharjah aquarium. There are a lot of information about all the things or the miniature that we can find. Also there is small space for reading some books. Also there is playing ground area for children, outside the building. But there is no attraction that can improve the vibes. I wish next it will be better. Overall i love it
