Like every fort of old times , the Sharjah fort also gives a historical look. Its in Rolla area of Sharjah. Walls of Sharjah seem to be fresh and new.

Need to take ticket.. Staffs are very kind they will help to explain the history related to this place.. 👍👏

Historically, it is recommended. This part of history is totally new for me. Impressed.

Pretty nice, rebuilt fort in the original layout. Theres a lot of writing and a few exhibits but most is staged to what it would have looked like back then. We really enjoyed it. Wish the tower was open though so we could climb up. Very cheap entry 10aed per person, worth it for what you get to experience.

Its old palace of Our Highness Shaik. Its says old history of Sharjah. We can get more details about Sharjah 17th Century to 20th Century.

Well worth a visit, and the staff could not have been nicer.

This was a great place you can walk around to learn about the history of Sharjah and there’s a place to sit and rest cost for a ticket per person is 10 AED, if you want to see the other 3 nearby museums it is 15 AED. Its not crowded so if you’re looking for solitude this place is for you.

Sharjah Fort / Al Hisn is really worth of visit if you wanna understand a bit history of Sharjah and the way of life of its rulers. With joint ticket (20 aed adults, 10 ead childrenyou can visit three other nearby museums. My recommendations.

Must visit museum if you want to know the history of Sharjah. Al Hisn is the heart of the area where justice and tolerance took place with vision and wisdom. Nearby parking available and cafes around the area. A walking distance from the souq and rest of Sharjah Museums (Art and Islamic museums from one side, and Bait Al Nanoodah, Heritage, and Calligraphy museums from the other sideask for shared tickets access and offers at the reception. Senior citizens access for free but must show their ID (above 60).

A natural building museum among concrete buildings in Sharjah. This will give you a glimpse into the oldest memories of your visit.

It had a cute and authentic look for the photo shoot, but I couldnt visit it because I was late. It is among the places I will go again because seeing historical things makes me happy.

Wonderful place to visit. Nice air conditioning throughout the museum. Very low cost to get in. I purchased tickets to all the museums in the area for 5AED each.

All Sharjah history at on center the heart of Sharjah.. the museum is kind of located in a place where it can less be recognized but the good old structures are a realistic impression that something more valuable is kept inside there

We can see a lot of information about civilization of past that how they lived in UAE. An historical fort turned into Museum and very well maintaining too. Feeling very anxious after watching all the stuff stored including weapons, wall fixtures about old maps and city construction and much more. The fort has been virtually fully rebuilt and looks brand new in most parts, in each of the rooms within the fort, a brief history is shown with artifacts and exhibits to compliment the information displayed.The outside of this historic monument still looks like the traditional fort from centuries ago, but its lost its old world feel on the inside. Entrance fee of 10 Dirhams is ok, and theres plenty of paid parking around but it was a tad disappointing from my perspective.

A small fort converted into a museum, located just opposite to the Rolla Square park. Walking distance from the old city of Sharjah. The front of the museum is a good place for photographs with the wide open area and the iron cannons up front. Limited exhibits inside though. Located just at the corner of the old Sharjah town near the heart of Sharjah.

I visited this museum recently. Probably one of the best museums in the area. Lot of information, lot of objects, lot of hi-tech illustrations and good lighting. If you want to become knowledgeable about the area of Sharjah and its history, youll enter basically a history book. As a history buff, you will enjoy it. I visited this museum recently in 2015 and its one of the most beautiful museums Ive ever visited in my life !! it tells the story of early Sharjah and it takes you back to 1942 and makes you live that era as if its for real !! the facilities are excellent and their guides and staff are so kind and helpful !! Very small place without many displays. ok to see. it will take you around 30 minutes.

Nice place to go with family, kids, or friend. There are a lot of things inside the building. It will show and give us information about the history of the place. There are some rooms, miniatures, weapons, pictures, etc. Also we can go to the tower to see the city from the top. The place is well order, clean, and big too. The staff are so kind too. Better take the package ticket for 5 museums. So after from here, we can go to another museums around this fort.

It is old jail in Sharjah and it is a icon building by it self. There is tickets for only 10 dirhams and there is much to see in fort it is so cool to see what is inside of fort or jail. There is big amount of archaeological and historical items in inside of it its good place if u are a history fan of things.

Average place. you wont find a lot of artifacts but one can hav a glimpse into the history of the Emirate of Sharjah. They used to have amazing music and light show annually, earlier, which has continuously gone from bad to worse, year to year.

Lovely place. Lots of differently themed museums here. Doesnt have a lot of visitors though the state of maintenance is too notch. Very hospitable staff. They even have calligraphy classes to do here at very affordable rates. Everyone must visit it.

It a historical site and right at the Heritage area.The fort is small but impressive and gives an insight into the historical past of this wonderful city. Its well maintained and has exhibits and artifacts which are interesting.A must see for History and Heritage lovers.
