Shari's Cafe and Pies in Bend

No matter what time of the day always awful service, the waitresses are so rude all the time, I understand they r short staffed but that is not my fault, I try to be nice but it’s hard when they treat like they don’t want you there the soonest you walk through the door, the only reason I keep coming here it’s cus my kids love their pancakes but I never come on my own.

Its pretty hard to get any sort of service if you are in the lottery room.

Please dont offer curbside pickup if you dont even know that you offer I and will leave people sitting in the parking lot confused about why their order isnt being delivered

Had lunch here today. Food was great and the service superb

The food was good.but the service was really bad my husband is diabetic and he asked for oj .he never got it asked for it . But she never did bring it we have been there lots of times but never had this experience before ...

Meh theres a reason I havent ate at Sharis in 6 years. Not very good.

Some come here for the pies, I come for the loaded cheese fries! There are two things I’m extremely selective about and that would be French fries and ranch. They nailed both! Some of the best ranch I’ve tasted, fries are crispy , perfectly salted and whatever cheese this is , it’s addictive. I come here about once a week now.A little advice for anyone visiting this Sheri’s location: come in the morning to mid-afternoon. After that they have some sort of shift change and the staff at night isn’t as organized. In the mornings, there is usually a lovely server with dark hair named Annie. She is so sweet and attentive. Always excited when she’s our waitress.

The place we went originally there was nothing worth eating but this was so much better.

Great service, big portions, tasty food.

If I could I would give you a zero Annie I would. came in from a 12 hour drive. Was greeted with a smile from the lady at the front desk.. after waiting 17 mins and 2 drinks later Annie shows up at our table take our order after I had to ask her to. She wanted to deal with whatever was more important than the customers and it was written all over her face . And her personal phone rings. And she takes the call. Tells the person she will call back… takes the order and promptly walks off. After another 19 mins the other server. Not our server brings one plate and ask my daughter if she had ordered anything. She states yes. She took our order to the cook I assume.. But why did you pretended to write it down. She was preoccupied with her personal life to be at work. What if someone has an allergy and she accidentally kills them. Because she’s preoccupied with whatever was going on in her personal life. I get it life happens. But for real you should pursue acting. Cause the performance you put on was stellar!

Dinner and salad was excellent. The pies were outstanding. They were down to one cook, but did was on time and lacked nothing. Always enjoy stopping there when I go thru bend.

Place was nasty and had terrible service. Never coming back.

This was the best experience Ive had at a Sharis! Brooke was an amazing waitress. Despite the employee shortage they were experiencing that day and that fact that it was busy, she kept her cool and took our order quickly. I told her that I have a vegetable oil sensitivity and asked if the cook could make my food in butter instead of vegetable oil, and she said yes and the cook definitely followed her instructions! The food was better than I would expect at a Sharis, the cook did a spectacular job as well. Brooke was friendly, hard working, and knew how to be a good waitress. Give this girl a RAISE!

Food wasnt good. Hostess was stressed and rude. Waitress was nice. They were out of soup. All soup.

Worse customer service ever from hostess/server. Rude, left us sitting forever. Other server said shed take our table and Michelle told her no, and then we still waited while she stood at register. And NO there wasnt a customer there. Probably on her cell.

The place is probably on the edge of shutting down. There was only 2 staff when I was dinning in. I had to wait for a long time and while doing so I could.not help but notice how dirty the place was. My silverware was also dirty. If you go to this location I would recommend driving just down the.street and eating at IHOP instead

Great restaurant if youre traveling or locals.it was good food and good pie.

They canceled our order because they had no cook on duty...but someone did call to let us know. Thank you for letting us know! 😉

Hey guys maybe you can tell me how often your pies are baked....seems the south store dosent know looked like the pie we wanted had been sitting for a few days!! When we asked the young girl she told us they were baked today or maybe yesterday???

This is the first time in over a year we have been here, & while the food was good, our server was ice cold. People seated after us had their order put in before us. We had to ask for more water, and our waitress didnt even pretend to be friendly.

Great food, friendly staff. Clean too

Despide being very short-staffed, the team here is still doing their jobs with efficiency and grace under pressure. A special shout-out to Annabelle, the only server on shift when I came in for breakfast; shes getting it done with grace and professionalism.

Sunday mid Morning 6/12/22 the restaurant was virtually empty. The waitress informed us they only had 1 cook and it would be about 45 min. We said no problem, we can just sit and drink coffee until then.Then she told us we would have to wait outside or on the bench at the front door??? We understood the wait, it was the lazy attitude of not wanting to do her job any harder than necessary that was a joke. WE TIP REALLY WELL!!Sharis really would rather leave the restaurant empty and expect potential customers to wait clearly seeing seats are available? Its very clear why food trucks are taking over the industry!!!!

They accommodated me quite well. I asked for something special and they obliged even though they didnt have to. It was delicious and hot when we recieved our meal.

Pretty standard Sharis. Food is good and predictable and service is fast and friendly.

On one hand, you’ll find the usual things expected at chain restaurants: underpaid, jaded servers; empty towel dispensers and locked doors to the bathrooms; a music playlist of ‘80s FM hits.But on the flip side, it’s not a bad place to do some work. The coffee is cheap, the hipsters are nowhere to be seen, and the booths are roomy.

The food is perfect fine and good and there are no issues whatsoever with the cooks who are unseen in the kitchen. If I could rate just the food Cooks they would get 4 stars 1/2 so keep up the good work. The problem with this restaurant is hands down the wait staff and management, Ive been to this Sharis twice and both times I was ment with the rudest non professional piss poor attitude that I tried to pinch myself to wake up from the nightmare I was having. I was playing video poker and asked for change for a $20 dollar bill and boy was that a mistake was told by the waitress that they dont have the time or small bills to give out change and the second time I went to the c ash register to cash in my lottery slip which was for an outrageous amount of $35 dollars it was such a large amount the waitress had to take it all the way to the manager who was in his office and he had to come out personally to cash it out himself which took almost 15 mins to do so. $35 dollars God for bid I took a ticket for over $100 they would of had to do a credit and a background check. I will never waste my time there again

Ordered a Signature Tillamook Chedder Burger . Got burnt buns and no cheese.

We had an excellent breakfast. We both got Spring Omlets and they were excellent! Cooked perfectly and our waitress was very attentive. This Bend Sharis (on Divisionis our favorite.

Im from tigard and my truck got stolen and recovered in bend. So me and my wife drive out to bend and was starving by the time we made it to our truck. Went to sharis and enjoyed burgers. Central Oregon is terrible in the winter.

I ordered a burger and the next day had food poisoning symptoms. Tried calling the restaurant directly to file a food complaint, in case others too have became ill, call was answered by a "supervisor", he said the GM was right there so forwarding the call. I was on hold for 12 minutes before hanging up. Nobody came back to the line. I would think that contaminated food would be a real concern, but this establishment obviously didnt want to hear any of it. Will definitely not be going back to this location, ever!

Coffee was fresh. Everything looked clean. Friendly staff. Be patient as they are short staffed and working their tails off. Had the Meat Lovers Skillet w pancakes. So perfect, thanks yall!

Showed up for a hefty breakfast spread and it was absolutely delicious! Only bit that was slightly subpar was the bowl of fruit requested was pretty much just cantaloupe, but everything else was heavenly and spot on.

I literally got 1/2 of a salad. I ordered a full size Spicy Asian Chicken Salad, and it looked like a dinner size salad. The person at the next table got a Chefs Salad, and it was a nice full plate. We have noticed lately that some Sharis portions have been drastically reduced. The service was good, and my 2 companions dinners were good.

Im not sure if it was a bad day in the kitchen, but my food was not that good. Our server was eavesdropping on our conversation. She offered her opinion about what we were talking about. Funny thing is, nobody asked for it. I had to check her & let her know to mind her own business.

Wow, who knew that Sharis a mainstay of Bend is an establishment that Ive driven by for 15 years and yet have never stopped is outrageously great! From the delightful hostess, Irene, who is the best manager and team player doing everything to run this well healed machine to the server, Andy, who is not only hilarious but attentive to his customers needs. Matt, the chef was fantastic! Perfect salmon, who makes good broccoli, Matt does Red cleans up every table as if it were his own. I met some wonderful people here and will be coming back soon. Come down and enjoy this place, its not just for pies!!

Classic Egg Benedict was decent. Hollandaise was almost perfect! Staff was pretty friendly

The staff was wonderful the place was clean their hours convenient its nice to go there with the family just to enjoy a nice lunch or dinner even breakfast because they serve it all day which is definitely my go-to. the only thing though, I understand times are very hard and produce and certain things are hard to come by but I wish their menu was a little bit more had a little bit more options. other than that, it was a great experience and I would go back there again.

My husband and I went to the Sharis in bend. I understand they are short staffed so not complaining about the wait. But the problem was that the waitress reached over our food to refill the drinks. Who does that its not polite and then when we told the manager. He told us not to come back

Poor staff was over worked and underappreciated. The food was decent and what youd expect from a Sharis...not bad, not great. Sadly, every restaurant in this area seems to be understaffed so if your looking just to fill your tummy, its a little bit of a wait to get anything but this location will get the job done. Hang in there Sharis Staff, we appreciate you.

The manager of this locations is SO great and really cares about customer service. I was not a patron here, I work for a delivery service and was picking up an order for someone else. Even so, he asked me if I would like something to drink while I wait and made sure that the order I was waiting on was finished promptly. Very kind staff and a great experience!

We stopped in here for a late lunch. It was great to have the all day breakfast option as my son was interested in that and I wanted lunch. I had the impossible burger and it was a nice light option to a regular beef burger. The portions were large. We couldnt leave without pie to go as our meals were very filling.

Great food okay waitress theyre spread pretty thin here so youre not going to get a good one on one with people. But Id eat there again. Just wish you could mix and match it a bit. But the pie was amazing I hope to stop by another Sharis sometime and try the banana.

Its Sharis. If youve been to one youve been to them all. They have okay food. Okay service. And okay prices. They are open 24 hours and have poker in the back. Kids eat free on Tuesdays. They are proud of their pies and cinnamon rolls. Overall okay place if this is what youre looking for.

This is the worst steak Ive ever been served, this is there top sirloin. I tried to tell the manager, waited 15min left .

I was slightly surprised at the food, better than anticipated. I am fairly picky with food quality and was very happy that the waitress was honest about our food questions, like the soup was not at its best being the end of the day. They got a little late night rush when we arrived and the manager was trying to help the waitress. However, we asked him a question and he never returned with an answer..odd. Once the waitress was available she was quick and efficient. I honestly was not excited to have to eat here, but it was not bad. The cherry pie was a nice treat to wrap up my traditional breakfast. They didnt get my eggs right the first time, but were quick to replace them and they were right the second time. The cook seemed to have the grill up a smidge high for speed, but you shouldnt rush breakfast food with heat..eggs and cakes are specific to have perfection. :-(The pancake was perfect!)
