Family-friendly chain of sit-down cafes serving an all-American menu 24 hours a day.
Very yummy excellent service and they have slot machines in the back very surprising so I put in 6 dollars walked out with 10
Been going to Sharis for years. used to be good. Not so much any more. Food, Service, and décor have fallen to below fast food. Even the Bathroom, no paper, toilet didnt flush, sink didnt work. Oh and dont forget the check your account later for " Extra Fees" like double the tip and an extra meal, and forget about getting your money back. They dont care.
Awesome Pie. Decent Food. Open 24Hrs. Always feel relaxed, calm & "@home" when Im @ Sharis.A+ Guys. You do a great job @what you do.Oh &BTW Pie-Shakes Are The BOMB (they blend up a whole piece of pie of your choice into a shake. Its chunky deliciousness!
It was... Sharis. Good food, good service, convenient location. I was surprised at the scramble I had and that it was vegetarian and very good.
The waitress was irritable, they were out of all cinnamon rolls and the coffee so weak it seemed like they only gave the bean a shower.
What a dive. Its been a long time since we ate here and the place sure went downhill on cleanliness. Where is the health department? The carpet was a mess. The table was dirty and the menu was gooey, not just a little sticky. A lot of flies. The sad thing is that the food was good and the staff are nice but if I had seen the bathroom prior to ordering, I would have walked out. We just went through 8 states and this was the dirtiest bathroom yet. The health department needs to get on them to clean it up and keep your staff and customers safe. We will never stop there again.
The food was good but the best part was our waiter, Jeremiah, who was attentive and knew the offerings well. Great experience.
Just had breakfast here with my daughter. The service was over the top! Even though Heidi was busy she was attentive and super friendly. Thank you Heidi, food service is hard work and I appreciate you taking such good care of us today! Just had another visit, still amazing!!!!!
Seated me at a dirty table, waiting for over 15 minutes before they even asked what we wanted to eat, i was there for probably over an hour mostly waiting for my server to come back. Bathrooms were nasty, never coming again. Food was alright, that’s the only thing holding that one star instead of 0.
Shorthanded staffing causes waiting times inside kind of looking warn. Needs an update. Otherwise, people were kind and helpful
Last night, I took my roommate out for a special dinner to thank her for helping me through some rough times. We went to Sherries Restaurant in Grants Pass. Her Chicken Fried Steak was done perfectly.I ordered the Lemon Chicken, and was served raw chicken. We sent it back and it came back hotter, but still raw on the inside. Finally, the manager had the cook (would not call him a chefmake up a whole new platter.Chicken was well cooked, but they just reheated my corn and potatoes so they were uneatable. Her corn, btw, was not much better. If I had to guess, they took yesterdays (or the days beforecorn that was on the edge, mixed it with bacon bits and re-heated it. So sad.My roommate tried to eat slow, so that would finish together, but after sending the plate back a second time, I encouraged her to finish hers before it got cold. Our server, who really did seem upset by the food coming from the kitchen told us that the mgr. would comp us a (1(singularslice of pie.If it were my restaurant (and I did own one years agoI would have comped the meal, and gave us a pie to go.Since they seem to be going through employees on a regular basis, I think we will wait a few months before trying there again.
Waitress was great food appealing The Taste was good the downside was flies walking all over the table and the bathrooms did not work well I reported the bathroom and another waitress Shrugged it off and said the manager knew and that they had been having trouble with that and the manager knew again it was apparent she did not want to be bothered
Thank you Sharis😋the waiter who served us was attentive and and we enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere.
The Sharis restaurant in Grants Pass is a disgrace. Restrooms are filthy dirty and trash overflowing. The seat cushions are dire need of repair and the service is the speed of a snail.O MarinC.P. OR.
A wonderful breakfast with my large family. The food was sooo good, I almost forgot to take a pic before digging in❤
Server was great. Food size and overcooked. Bathrooms gross.
Cherries with a real nice place the food was good the service was good and well probably go back again thank you Sherry Sherrys
Service was very poor. The waitress seemed to be put off to have to wait on a table of senior citizens. I ordered a slice of Marionberry Pie and was brought a slice of Marionberry Cheesecake, when I pointed it out to her she said they were out of pie, should have mentioned that when I ordered it. She offered the other selections but I wanted the marionberry. Needless to say we wont be visiting this restaurant the next time we are in Grants Pass.
Good place to eat. A little higher priced than other restaurants like it in the area but the food is good and the staff is very friendly.
Excellent service the waitress was great Jess thank you for a Happy Meal and it was quick and clean in the restaurant
The food was mediocre. The staff was rude and the restaurant felt like a truck stop no thanks don’t recommend.. if I could I would give it a 0
Extremely nice waitress. Not so great strawberry pie
Havent been to Sharis in years and it is still amazing as always, the servers are really nice and was fairly quick getting my food. One server made a special lemonade for me to try it was the best! It was lemonade, raspberry sauce and a little sprite.
Love, love, love this restaurant. Atmosphere is inviting, as if part of the family, the employees go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable, and a wide range of food/drink selections. Clean, well organized up keep. Sharis will always be my home away from home.
Double check the order before leaving if you order take out, I ordered chicken and somehow got half cooked salmon.
We had a perfect breakfast here. Everything was cooked perfectly, the hash browns were crispy on the out side and tender on the in. Came with toast OR 2 pancakes or french toast.I had the French toast and it was also perfect. Just the right amount of cinnamon and perhaps vanilla?
Dear Cook, dont touch raw meat and then serve fresh fruit without washing your hands. I happen to know for a fact that youve been doing this.
Would put a 0 star but not an option. Worst service I have ever received. Took over and hour and a half to get milk shakes. Took almost as long to get our orders on the right tickets. Our server even seemed to be getting upset at us for him not being able to figure it out. Wasnt very busy either.
Breakfast is served hot and quick, service was prompt. Coffee cups were refilled quickly.
Was an excellent meal, I got it to go by my choice cuz my dog is a little bit of separation anxiety crazy dog, anyways 😜 thank you for a great meal and having it ready so quickly
My husband and I went in for what used to be out favorite meal. Country fried steak and eggs with stuffed hash browns and a side of brioche french toast. Never again. Upon asking for to go containers, I got up and proceeded to the restroom. I have to say, I have been in rest areas and truck stops that were cleaner than this! Needless to say, my leftovers will immediately become compost. The worst part is... You can clearly see the water damage from overflowing toilets at the bottom of the door.... And the kitchen is adjacent to the restroom. Imagine what THOSE corners look like.. no thanks
Great food of course but their pies will knock ur socks off and Great gambling
Food is so so but Eric, the server, made the experience awesome because hes very nice with real southern hospitality, a great sense of humor and knows whats up!
Someone ought to teach them some common sense. The hook to hang your purse on in the womens handicap stall is not only broken it is too high for a person in a wheelchair to use.The Northwestern Salad is horrible. The romaine was brown on all the stem areas of the leaves. The pecans were chopped so small they were hard to put on a fork and the grilled red onions were fine but too few.Wake up management, there are a lot of us who want good healthy food when we order a salad. Do you have knowledge of what a vegetable is?
Went late for dessert and they had limited choices, out of a lot of listed items. Very casual service.
The food was good. Service was good. Now all they have to do is turn the heat on, it was very cold in there.
Heard of their prime rib dinners after 2and had to check it out. It was excellent and prepared to order. Service was attentive without being intrusive.
The manager Wendy accused me of putting hair in my food when I let her know that I found hair one in my salad and one in my appetizers called the board of health because they definitely need to be shut down
I recently cooked here for two weeks and its by far the dirtiest grossest kitchen Ive ever seen! In that 2 weeks time I never once saw the cook wash his hands! Back from the bathroom, straight back to cooking. The manager would step in from her little office and just start handling peoples food. I witnessed cross contamination multiple times! I watched the cook smash together two raw hamburger patties then a few seconds later scoop the cut melon fruit mix out of the container with his nasty, bloody, beef hands! Everything and I mean everything is coated with nasty grease and grime. Everything comes prepackaged and half of it is just microwaved. I thought I was applying for a cook job and that wasnt anything that resembled cooking. It was slinging nasty grease slop as fast as you can. Its just a matter of time before they make people really sick and I dont want to be involved in that in any way! Half of the dishes and containers in the clean rack have old food stuck to them from previous customers. The old food under the burners in the egg cooking station caught fire daily from the inches deep of pure nastiness. I am not a disgruntled employee. I chose to quit and I feel that there are some really nice people who work there but they seem to have no conscious to what they are serving to theyre customers. As I looked out from the rat hole kitchen at the beautiful faces of senior citizens and children I sobbed internally knowing that we are serving them pure sh!t. The pies come frozen so thats what I recommend you order but hopefully your plate wont have old cheese stuck to it from a previous customer. ..maybe order it in a clean to go box. Ive worked in quite a few restaurants and Ive never seen anything close to this filth! I am positive that McDonalds or any other fast food joint is 20 times cleaner than the Grants Pass Sharis. I seriously had no idea that a restaurant could be that disgusting and still pass a health code inspection. My conscious absolutely couldnt allow me to be involved in that nonsense any longer. I made it a whopping 14 days or so before I made the right decision and walked away from that madness. I turned down good money for self pride. My rule has always been that if I wont eat it I wont serve it to anyone and when none of the employees eat anything from there it speaks volumes to what they are serving. Its always brought me much happiness to know people enjoy the food I make and that job, never once, came close to that sense of pride. It brought depression, sadness, and a real sense of fear that I was going to be a part of making people seriously ill! None of my friends or family will ever eat there again. I would seriously rather eat the disgusting taco bell or the week old nachos from am pm across the street. I refuse to gamble with peoples health and I refuse to choose money over self dignity! Never again Sharis.... never again.
I didnt have the greatest experience here all of the staff where very short or straight rude too myself and my family, the waitress in particular seemed like I was bothering her by coming into the restaurant at all, but the same waitress was being super friendly too all the other patrons, this pattern was shown in the other staff too they couldnt be bothered too help, now if I was being rude Id understand but I had only said hello and asked for a Pepsi thats it, the food was honestly pretty good if youre a local you see. Too be treated like a decent human being but hey at least the food is decent the only other redeeming quality of this subpar customer service location is that they at least will offer a veterans discount should you even be willing too ask after theyve gone out of theyre way too make you feel as unwelcome as possible, still the foods ok just they excell at cremating French toast,, and are experts at making sure the food is safe too eat and resembles food. If youre a local I reccomend it they seem too be friendly too locals if youre a traveler passing through theres a 7-11 across the street best of luck.
Came in today to enjoy breakfast with my family. We were brought to a filthy table and brought a booster chair covered in food. We waited for quite a while for anyone to say hi let alone take our order. We finally got our order in and everything came out wrong and ice cold. Nobody checked on us and when I asked for help, we were promptly ignored over and over again. The lady in charge came and said we had to work with her and she proudly brought us a check for $50. HORRIBLE customer service
Under staffed. But my biggest gripe is no pie selection. I like to get a couple on my way out but have not gotten any the last couple times. Waitresses are awesome though! That is why I still stop in.
I visited wednesday 2/9 just before 6pm. I was seated immediately. After looking over the menu a staffer asked if i was ready to order. I said yes and he replied, ill get the waitress. 30 minutes later no one had come. Not even an acknowledgement. I got up and walked out. 30 MINUTES! Wow, on a Wednesday the place wasnt really all that busy either.
Went for my free piece of pie on my birthday, have to download their app to get yours....and won some cash playing on the video lottery machines they have in the back of the restaurant. Staff has always been pleasant and friendly, great food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But my favorite is their assortment of homemade pies!
My group of 4 was able to snag a corner table for a couple of hours, eat, play a board game, and just enjoy being out. It was great, service was great.Food was great too, though it was diner food. I ordered breakfast, it was spot on. Steak was a little cold though, they probably held it a minute so that everything would come out together.Only real detractor was that the music was a touch loud. Good music choice though. If my group was less tired it wouldnt have been a problem.
Our waitress Aryanna was hands down amazing! Professional and knowledgeable but kept us smiling and laughing. While the food was simply “OK” the experience made up for it. She moved quickly about her other customers never leaving anyone forgotten and I watched her help an older gentleman cut up his breakfast. Above and beyond!! 5 stars for Shari in grants pass!
A double cheeseburger, fish and chips, Chicken fried steak with one biskit and gravy, $15:00 each. A whole Punkin pie the size of my hand $12:00. Way not worth it.
The smallest steak dinner I have ever had!Look, the staff is super friendly and deserves 5 stars. The sirloin steak is literally the smallest steak I have ever been served in a restaurant. The menu does not say the size of the steak, but it might be 4oz or smaller.Food was tasting good. This place has a serious problem with flys. They are really annoying. Next time I would order to go just to avoid the flys that does not let you eat. Horrible.
Actully held hostage, we finished eating our food and we wanted a pie to take home but as soon as we ordered we waited a reasonable time for our food and then never was asked or helped again we sat right by the door dec. 26 right on camera and around 10 to 11 pm. I literally about just left with out paying I highly do not recomend coming here we were 1 of 4 tables and 2 waiters I believe.
Sharis is the old tried and trued! Great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Decent food, and good portions, for a decent price! Generally good atmosphere, but it does get a little loud on any given weekend day. Coffee is good! Pies are better, and Sharis signature (well, that and in my opinion, their Cinnamon Station breakfast!)! They arent 5 star... but, theyre not that far off! 😉
