Some of the Nastiest, unseasoned food i have ever tasted...I asked were the eggrolls freshly cooked..they said yes and i received room temperature soft eggrolls..i could have cried; as long as i hve been craving Asian...the rice is NOT fried, its steamed, lumpy, unseasoned slop..once you add soy sauce it"s slimy..I was very disappointed..i didnt mind the price raise until i tried to eat it...i had to come home and heat my food..it was barely room temperature..i will never go back there...NEVER..im so 😭😭😭😭

We tried so many items from here, from chicken to beef, noodles to rice. They all had the same bland not good flavor. Egg rolls had a decent flavor but were cold. Yum yum sauce is charged extra but still bland, not worth it...whole trip is not worth it. They were pretty busy so we were very surprised that we were disappointed.

Dried out food. Lots of it though. Friendly people. We threw our plates away and will call this a life lesson. Go with what ya know.

Today was my first time eating here. I had an okay experience. The food was not that good. For the amount of money you spend the portion size is ridiculously small! They only gave me a few pieces of meat. The staff was nice for the most part. Would I come back? Probably not.

There is this fish in a tank and I now call this long fish express. I like long fish. You should meet him.

I’m disappointed.. I decided to give this location another try after a few years… and my rice was mushy. The RICE was MUSHY; I can make rice on the stove better than that. The Lo Mien was mushy as well. I had faith in you guys.

The food was good. The only problem I have is that almost all of the food has onions, which I dont like. Prices are very good as was the service.

Great food..plenty of it on the plate..if you like this kind of food..excellent place to eat 😊

I have ordered from here many times. Paid for specials & full price entree items. Usually, with 2 meat & rice special I would ask & pay more for noodles rather than rice. So tonight, I ask for 2 meats which are ..Mongolian Beef & Chicken Lo Mein w/Noodles. However, was told the noodles & lo mein are the same. Ok, however, your 2 meat & rice special menu has Chicken Lo Mein listed. My portion of 2 meats being chicken lo mein had 1 piece of chicken.

Im from Oklahoma and this is not good food. It wasnt even average. The sesame chicken and the noodles both tasted like chemicals and the rice was so dry i probably could have used it as a concrete filler. The sweet and sour chicken was okay i guess. Definitely wont be going back though

It is very good . I love how its fast and convient when your in a hurry. You get a lot of food for the value and its yummy. Would defiantely reccomend .

Come here, get the Pho Soup, and tip big. The first time I had the Pho I came to believe in God again. The second time I came to understand the universe. The third time I came to realize there is no God and the only thing important in life is Pho.

I didnt think I could brag any more than usual here but by far this last order was even hot and fresher than the last!! I got sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken with rice, noodles and an egg roll. Omg!! You guys are the best!!

Food is always hot, flavorful and good. Staff is very friendly and professional. I have been eating here for over 4 years and always walk away happy, full and planning my next visit.

It was only through the drive-thru I dont think they offered indoor dining the food was average it was okay..

Oh my gosh, this place and the one in Boaz is amazing. The food is so good and the employees are so nice and helpful. I love this place. One of my favorites.

This place is always packed when we come, but that doesnt stop us. This place is pretty dang good!!Its served in three section to- go boxes. Large portion is either filled with rice or noodles for an extra charge. And the two back portions are meat, dont worry they give you tons of meat and an egg roll Its a great deal for $7

Great food! Every food item is so good! Try the egg drop soup, its great! We try something different every time we go here. The egg roll taste great too, with soy sauce over them! The fried rice with two meats, is a great plate to take home and enjoy! The staff is so helpful and pleasant to talk with and to fill your order!

I go here alot and usually get 3 Togo plate food is good ,but this is the 3rd time in 1 month they have gave me the wrong items ,and the lady keeps saying Im so sorry but we can do nothing ,I would return it but I live almost 20 miles away stop there on my way home from work ,just wanted her to make things right ,but she refuses!

Pretty good food at competitive prices. Comparable to panda. Buy 6 egg rolls and get one free. Buy a plate with 2 meats get an egg roll free. The orange chicken is really good.

Terrible, it tasted like it was sauteed in formaldehyde and sprayed with embalming fluid before being served to me. I threw it away after 3 bites because it did not taste like any food item I have ever put in my mouth. The staff was nice but the food is unreal. Do yourself a favor and avoid this

Shanghai Express is a pretty modest joint in humble surroundings, but dont let that throw you. This is a great place near downtown Gadsden to grab some quick Chinese food for lunch or dinner, and its one of the only spots in Gadsden to get a bowl of pho. Check it out!

I’ve eaten here quite a few times and have gotten Pho every time. Easily my favorite restaurant in Gadsden. Staff is always welcoming and friendly, they’ll definitely recognize you if you come in more than once. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Their food is usually fresh, and very flavorful. They do a good job, even offered to cook for 5 people, at the end of their day, because there wasnt enough cooked 5 minutes before they closed, and we were disappointed, lol.

Best chinese food ever. Varied selection of entrees, or order & they will prepare it. Management & employees couldnt be more accomodating. Very large portions-would cost much more to cook at home.

My husband and I ate supper there tonight and this man came in and ask if he could sweep the parking lot for some food. The employees told him they didnt need it swept but have him a plate of food anyways... That was the sweetest thing and they will DEFINITELY have our service again !!!!!!

First time we ever have eaten there and would definitely return because it the staff being so welcoming. I was already so full from the portions given that my friend and I decided to pass on dessert but much to our avail, a waiter came and brought us both a sample of there cakes and cookies they serve just to be kind!!!

I recently became a vegetarian so there are limited places out of town for me to eat. I chose here because of the tofu and vegetables. It was perfect. The portions were big so that meant lunch the next day. I definitely would recommend this place whenever I go to Gadsden.

I love the food here and the quickness of the service. The price is fantastic. I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. I wish Id have found it earlier, since we are here on business for a few months.

My husband introduced me to them from our local mall. The opened a second location closer to our home and we often visit them more so than the mall location. The Lo Mein noodle honey chicken are my favorite picks! But I could eat all of the selections! Those are just my go to! Try them out if you love Chinese foods!

Seriously impressed!!! Wud give 5 stars just for the amt of food for the price, and for it being super tasty Chinese...but at the drive thru, told to pull around front and was given a small plate with a fork and 2 pieces of sum strawberry dessert for free. I personally love free lol. I wudnt of picked that on the menu but it was delicious! Oh yeah, and did I mention drive thru lol. #awesome

Best Asian restaurant in town! Fried rice not too greasy, big portions so you get your moneys worth! Family own friendly staff! I would recommend everyone looking for a good Asian restaurant to come here!!

The employees are super friendly. The restaurant seems to be really clean everytime I visit. They give you huge portions of food so you get a lot for the price. The food is always fresh and tasty! I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. The service is fast, as well.

I eat here at least twice a week. They make excellent pho, both chicken and beef. The pho and buffet items are the best asian food Ive had in Gadsden. The prices are very good and so is their food....whats not to love????????

Food was pretty good. It didnt have much flavor unfortunately. Had the spicy chicken (which had zero spicinessand honey chicken with rice and egg roll. I did like the free desert they offered that day with a dine in meal. It was like a chocolate cake but had a coffee type drizzle on it. This food was almost exactly like the Chinese place in the Gadsden mall. I prefer the Japan grill over it any day of the week. It did look good but was not overly impressed.

You get a good amount of food and in my opinion it was rather good food. my nephew loves the rice and says they have the best egg rolls (ever its a new building so every thing is clean and new. The employees were frendly they even gave us some good we didnt order so we could see if we would like it. Ill go back

Cold food slow service, wasnt greeted when I came in wasnt acknowledged until they asked what did I want and that took about 7 minutes just standing there waiting to be waited on. The food was cold and the flavor very bad . Teriyaki chicken tasted nothing like teriyaki, egg drop soup had no flavor, and the egg roll disgusting. Maybe if the young boy working thee would stay off his cell phone and speak to customers and wait on them and make sure the food is hot this might have been a better experience along with putting some flavor in the food.
