Shamrocks Gastropub in Hagatna

4 🌟 because Im giving it the benefit of the doubt since I didnt order food and something could have gone wrong with their supply of beer. Anyways 13 of the 18 beers on tap was out including the local Guam beer. I know they dont claim to be an Irish bar but with the name youd think they would have Guinness on tap and a top shelf Scotch like The Macallan. The environment seemed to be fun and the music playing was good.

Jeffery and Clarissa gave us the best service! Jeffery had the best playlist bumping and we were all vibing. The drinks were great and definitely did the job. A majority of us ordered the steak and chips, and let me say, I love the chili soy sauce that was paired with the steak. It could have been cooked a bit better, but was definitely satisfactory. We all had a great time here and I would definitely come back for the ambiance and atmosphere. Thank you so much for having us!

Nice set up as an Irish pub. I went on a not busy night. l was served fairly quick, the fish and chips were very good. Bartenders very nice and helpful, very personable. Only con I can say is they play rap music. I dont get why an Irish bar plays rap music. There are plenty of other bars on the island that play mumble garbage rap non-stop. Is it too much to ask for this one place to play island music, rock, pop, or maybe "GASP" Irish/Gaelic music? End of rant, 3.5 stars due to terrible mumble music. Believe in yourself Irish pub!PS,If you sit at the bar you can hear amusing stories from strippers who work next store, possible upgrade to 4 stars.

Just had dinner there tonight. I ordered the beer battered shrimp for appetizer and the whiskey bacon burger. The shrimp was absolutely delicious. Crunchy on the outside and juicy in the inside. Comes with I think a ranch sriracha dipping sauce. yum. The whiskey burger is definitely for those who love that strong whiskey taste. It was little too strong for my liking.Friendly staff and their new renovations are fresh and modern. Their big size booths can fit all your friends and family. Make sure you guys check them out.

Don’t go, it was closing time and then they poisoned our drinks with condiments, 3 of us were sick. Not an isolated incident.

First time visiting and our experience was good! Ordered the bangers & mash and I would def go back for that. A little oily, but nothing that could block your arteries lol. Our waiter forgot our order of wings and the other waitress who attended to us apologized, the kitchen staff gave us more wings than what was mentioned on the menu description, and was given a 10% discount for the inconvenience. The staff was friendly & attentive and the wait time for our orders wasn’t long. Great way to end my night! (:

Imagine the Mortons salt girl cooking all your meals and the waiter has a golf club with your name on it to get you out as fast as the can hit you

*Update* Came back and they have an amazing balance between fail videos, funny videos, and sports too! Irish Pub music was on point with Rumjacks and their food is always f-ing amazing! But lately their fail videos are gone... 😞 The Irish Pub music is gone... 😞 And the atmosphere is just not what it was last time. The food is always great though! Been here twice during my holiday. Really liked it. Wasn’t busy (weekdaybut still had a good atmosphere. Service is good and the food is great! Prices are also very reasonable. Would visit again anytime!

They have like 30 beers on tap bit not Guinness or any stout. The chicken salad was fresh and was reasonably priced.

Service is atrocious. Never got my full order, waited 2 hours for food. Food is good but would not go back.

My favorite spot in Guam! Most of the staff is awesome and super friendly! Sarah is super knowledgable and knows the menu inside and out! Clarissa is super cute and always fun! Steak salad, steaks, and burgers are always on point! Jordan is the man in the kitchen!

I really liked this place when it had the huge space but it seems they cut their space in half and got rid of the dining room. Not entirely sure why.

Three of us came in for dinner. Our waitress was fine until 2 other tables came in. We literally were waving to get her attention and she completely ignored us. My sangria was awful, foamy like a parfait. I would have liked another drink, but again, she wouldnt acknowledge us. Food was okay, service was terrible.

Miss the old menu. Bar is also smaller. Which is nice. But was disappointed with lack of Irish food :/

I like this place. The food is hit and miss in terms of quality though. Ive had the flatbread on a couple of occasions. It has differed in size and taste each time. Staff are great and it attracts a good crowd of chatty locals and tourists.

First off, great selection of beer both on tap and in the bottle. Absolutely fantastic.But, the bad. They were out of corned beef, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, and beef stew. Basically everything Irish on their menu was out.I accepted that, and ordered something not Irish.The burger I got was very dry and bland. After I finished, I was ignored for about 15 minutes (at the barand when I finally got someones attention I just decided to pay and go home. Im not going to beg for a beer on a Thursday...I love Irish pubs. Its a shame this one dropped the ball so hardEDIT: Greatly appreciate the response from the owner. Next time Im on the island Ill give it another try and see if we can change this review around. Points for the owner being engaged with the online reviews.

Compared to most bars on island the drink prices and good and the food is amazing!!

Great beer selection, good food. Not always enough seating. Get in early to beat the rush!

Probably my favorite place to go have a pint with friends. Fun to people watch the drunks going up and down the nearby road as well haha. Prices are alright. I give a four just because theyve run out of a lot of some favorite beers fairly early in the night on some occasion.

My go to every weekend! Ladies night has free drink in the club section. Its a limited selection but its free!

Love this place. They have a great selection of beer on tap and their food is consistently good. They have a great happy hour with drink specials and half off appetizers! Fun atmosphere and great food/drinks.

Great beer selection but I would not call it a gastropub. The food is good, and maybe for Guam, really good, but it was a little too greasy and standard pub fare for me to call it a true gastropub. All that said, Id go back for the beers, and maybe an appetizer, but I wouldnt aim to eat dinner there

Waitress didn’t know what was available or not on the menu, forgot drinks and appetizers. Ordered drinks and appetizers first, finally got the appetizers as we were getting our checks.

Love this place always packed on the weekend! Even with out that the staff is friendly and always smiling. there beer selection is amazing!!! i always get to try new things, and Seans knowledge about the beers he has is very impressive. And the food is impeccable also. Highly recommended
