Shamrock Pub Roma in Vatican City

Comfortable & cozy- we had a delicious aperol spritz & they have a great selection of beer on tap. This is an Irish pub with Italian clientele & staff. Enjoyed watching Roma football here with the crowd. Outdoor seating, Reasonable pricing & the food looked good. Bathrooms appear to be attended to.

Really cool place to watch football and drink a beer

Excellent little Irish bar in Monti. Was an easy place to relax and have a few drinks with friends. Ordered a Guinness and couldnt have been happier with it.

Its a hidden craic! Nice pints, good burguers and you can watch the game.Besides, its in a lovely messy alley, off of a busy avenue full of restaurants, a couple of minutes from the colosseo.

Amazing place to enjoy your night with friends. They have inside as well as outside sitting available. I find this place cheap and best to grab drinks with friends. If you go during fifa match you will enjoy more as people would sit around screen and enjoy the match. The staff is also very polite and helpful. You can even enjoy game of table soccer.

Friendly place and not overly crowded with Coliseum tourists. Air Con and good food / beer, a heavenly respite from the Italian heat. Recommended!

Absolutely amazing place!! So glad we found it, our Irish home away from home! The food was the best we’ve had throughout being in Italy, the staff were great, the drinks were lovely and the atmosphere was brilliant. 100% recommend :)

Done a really good job of the classic pub atmosphere (or though might be a but over the top). A little pricy but its in the heart of Rome so thats to be expected. Was slightly ruined by the standoffish nature of blond bar lady with glasses. She might be having an off day but as a pub manager myself I would not be happy if my staff had that attitude.

Brilliant British feel pub away from the madness of all that is touristy. Spoons prices without the spoons feel. Had a few pints and wings. Hit the spot nicely. Friendly bunch.

The employees were fantastic. Bartender made me his take on an amaretto sour and it was one of the best Ive had. I had the pulled beef sandwich and the wife had chicken tenders. We both left happy. Plus its only a few blocks from the Colosseum

We are staying in the same building as the pub. The staff is very warm and welcoming as soon as you enter. We found it a great place to stop for a drink and to have a moment to relax from the heat. This is the place to be when there is a local sports game on! I would absolutely recommend a visit.

Stay away from the burgers. Cafeteria meat is better. Chicken and potatoes were good though

Never thought that such a place would be possible in Rome,available prices, great choices of beers, recommended if beer is what you-re looking for!

I was assaulted at this pub and no one who worked there helped me. A young man who claimed to be the “owner” of the bar (he may have been lying, I don’t knowpunched me in the face and kicked me to the ground. I asked for help from restaurant employees and no one came to my defense. Instead, they kicked me out even though I did not react violently to the aggressor. To this day I don’t know why he attacked me, but I am extremely disturbed that the pub did nothing about an assault that was witnessed by several people.

This is only a couple of hundred yards away from the Coleseum in an area where everything is expensive. This wasnt, it served proper beer and cider in pints, and had great music and sky sports.

What a Find !!!Great little Irish bar in the middle of Rome, friendly staff and proper pints of beer, we fancied a quick snack so had burgers, instead of the usual chips or fries, the burger was accompanied by the most delicious new potatoes sautéed in rosemary, absolutely delicious.

The best Irish bar on this strip. Great to see all the footy scarves on the wall and nice beers. Didnt have food so cant comment

Beer for a pint is 6 euro which is good for roma we ate as well with a simple cheese amd tomato pizza we had 1 pizza 2 pints of erdinger 2 cokes for 29 euros service excellent roof top seating and ground floor external seating mostly shaded. Quiet spot as well highly recommended

I stayed outside. The serving was quite slow, but I was told you can order directly at the bar. The pub is for beer and football lovers. The inside is nice, decorated with a lot of football scarfs. If youve just visited the Colosseum and the Roman Forum and youre thirsty, this is the place to be.

Food was really good but service was really really slow. We sat for almost an hour before being asked our drink or food order after we sat. Original post was left by accident but, for the size of the place there maybe needs to be more staff both behind the bar and waitstaff.

Good drinks, but AWFUL food. We had the chicken wings and nachos (2 very common, and very easy bar foods to get perfect), and they both were beyond disappointing. Wings were squishy and soggy, nacho cheese sauce tasted like it came from a Ritz cracker pack from elementary school, and the “guacamole” was obviously only 5% avocado. But like I said, good drinks. So…go for a drink if you’d like, but skip the food.

Fantastic welcoming spot and we had a great time here when we visited Rome a few weeks ago. Staff are amazing and the pint is quality. We will be back

Bathrooms need improvement. Chicken tenders do not come with any dipping sauce (ranch, blue cheese, etcand they dont have any available to order either. But the pub looks nice I guess.

Had a lovely evening in here with my girlfriend. Beer and wine was great, service with a smile. It was December when i visited had a lovely Christmasy feeling inside if in Rome pop in for a couple. We had some food / snack too, the nacho’s were lovely and a decent sized portion. There was Covid restrictions at the time so you had to show your NHS / covid pass and it was table service but that never ruined our experience one bit

We ordered a burger and chicken cutlet, and I was really impressed by how bad the food actually was. It was likely stored in some Soviet bunker for decades, where it was due to expire and therefore ended up on my plate. No really, I cant recall the last time I ate something this bad. Fortunately our expectations werent terribly high and this experience will help us appreciate the great food this country has to offer :)Great staff though, and for that we give an average of 3 stars!

Very good place with authentic atmosphere. A hundreds football scarves everywhere in the bar. Tvs for footie games. Excellent for groups. Good choice for beers. Recommend.

Had a pint in the shade here because it was absolutely roasting and I needed a break. Decent pub, high priced pints though. Guess its just normal for Rome in busy areas.

Despite being very crowded on new years eve, the staff found us a table and later even a chessboard.The Guinness was great, the food, for pub food it was good, of course, choice is limited and dont expect five Michelin star level cuisine.All in all a great experience on new years eve, ThanX to all the staff for looking after us.
