Fantastic, authentic Irish pub in Lucerne. Pub quiz every Sunday

Extremely rude bar tender. After telling him I want to pay separately he tells me why don’t I just twint my friend and I reply that I don’t have twint and then proceeds to tell me that he understands why I am single. Extremely unprofessional and out of place behaviour. Specially after paying over 9 francs for a beer. Would not recommend this place to anybody.

Overcrowded, noisy, bad atmosphere, waiter was not responding

Guinness was good, fries were crisp, beef burger decent and the staff was friendly. Totally recommend!

Great Pub for some irish beer and some live music on weekends to sing and cheer along.

Nice little pub with a good variety of beer and some real good food. The staff is friendly but you have to order at the bar.

Excellent service, great beers, perfect fish and chips! Nothing more you could ask for! Will definitely be back in the future!

Clean and good beer

After having a horrible experience at a so-called Irish pub on the waterfront. My wife and I were fortunate enough to find this amazing location. The staff was phenomenal the food was out of this world and of course the Guinness was even better. I would highly recommend this location over any other location in Lucerne. They really really really did a phenomenal job and I’m very appreciative of the fact that we were able to find it for our lunch stop.

Authentic irish pub with great live music and good beers. One of the guys working the bar (man bun, looks like a pugneeds to drop his snobby cynical attitude, there are other good bars around.

I havent been there for a very long time due to them being closed. I called in quickly on Sunday for a drink. It smells better, yet looking at the menu, I nearly had a heart attack.Seriously, shepherds pie, sfr 28.I could feed 6/8 people for that.

Nice location, but if you order a Stout and dont get some chips or even some peanuts with those prices ...a bit greedy

Irish pub without praise or blame.

Great atmosphere in this irish pub. The Guinness on tap was perfect and the bangers and mash were delicious although the food prices are quite expensive.The highlight was the guy behind the bar. He was very friendly, funny and talkative. Had everything to 100% under control. A top man! Muito obrigado! Will visit again for sure!

Gus(avo), Paol(o), the whole team, and friendly regulars made it an amazingly memorable night. Great selection of beers but even better a legit pub atmosphere. Will come back for sure

Very poor customer Service. Barkeeper seems annoyed and unmotivated to sell Drinks. The Burger is so bad, its sad to call that food.Fries where good thats why one Star!Visited that place once and will never come back.Even Pickwick is better.

Excellent, lovely, very efficient and multi tasking staff, they will get you served quicker than any other pub I know. Im a tourist here and will return in a heartbeat next time Im back to Luzern. Love it!

Perfekt Atmosphäre for Saturday evening. Live music from 10pm. The bartenders are fun.

A short distance barely a stone throw from the Luzern Main Train station is one of a few Pubs in Luzern. Where this place lacks in space it makes up for in good food, great beer, and friendly atmosphere. Enjoy!

Easy going Irish pub. Staff that takes care of you. Rugby or premier league in tv. Decent food (its a pub....and tasty Gin 😋. We will be back for sure

This is really the best place in town for great beer and food. The bartenders are cantankerous in a fun, friendly and authentic way. Totally un-swiss, but a must-do place in Luzern. Check it out Thursdays after 8 for live Irish folk music and Fri. Sat. For great, live, knees-up pub music. See you there

Super cosy Irish pub. Great pub food, nice live music, and you just can’t go wrong with Top Gear re-runs 👌🏻 Their collection of beers isn’t huge but whatever’s on draught is definitely nice!

A typixal Irish bar although a bit unusual to be questioned why i was ordering half a shandy.The bar man said you do know you are in an Irish bar.I had already ordered a pint of guiness for myself. The half was for my wife who does not really drink.At 56 I am beyond justifying what I am ordering I shall not go back.

definitely one of my favorite locations in lucerne.staff is friendly and funny👌🏻food is not cheap but always fresh and good.also there is live music on most evenings, pub quiz on sundays and 1CHF chicken wings every first monday of the month😋

Next pub was to be the Shamrock Irish Pub not too far from the Anfield, and the differences in size of crowd and atmosphere was very apparent. Two screens for the football here, not 21, with people eating food, others drinking and chatting, and a bit of a midday atmosphere building up. Takes an Irish pub to show you how it is done!!Could have went for the usual suspects you can get in an Irish bar, Guinness, Smithwicks, or even a Kilkenny, but wanted to try something different so I went for an ale called a Braufrisch from the Feldschlösschen brewery in Rheinfelden. It looked lovely in the glass, and went down better. Very good beer.Sat down, not at the small bar which was full but at a side table, and took in the scenery. Most people were looking at the football, but there were a few Americans across from me eating some grub. Have to say it looked pretty good, and they were happy for sure, fish and chips all round. Must get food in here the next time I am in Lucerne.Small, cozy, Irish bar with the usual style one expects from these kind of places, bar man was ok, pint was good, all is well and onto the next bar….

Very traditional Irish pub with good burgers and other bar fare. Reasonable pricing as well by Switzerland standards. Great bar ambience with a very cool bartender. Highly recommended.

Ended up stopping here two days in a row. The food is delicious along with plenty of beer options. The bartenders and staff are awesome! Highly recommended!

Always a decent crowd in the Shamrock, most with a good command of English, so the bar guys can be quite helpful should you need to ask anything. Good selection of meals on the menu and a good choice of beers on tap.

Really nice pub. They have lots going on like live music or pub quizzes. Never eaten there so cant say anything about the food they offer

A typical beer cafe made up mostly of wood, matching the chalet style of Swiss Alps. Irish, German, English & may more beer styles. Good to hang out with couple of buddies & pass quality time. The tender is cool to talk to too!

My fav bar in Luzern. Small but with a great atmosphere and a good pint. Great staff, decent food. Some good live music played here.

Only accept credit card payment if you are willing to pay more than 20f. There is no way of knowing this in advance. All the pints cost 9f, half pint 5f.

Girlfriend chose this pub to watch England v Panama in the world cup. Brilliant pub. Good service and good atmosphere! Beer was brilliant and a good selection. Standard pricing for Lucerne (CHF 9 per pint or CHF 5 per half pint).Would recommend highly if youre British and want a pub to talk to others and get to know people. Barman speak English perfectly.Pub also does food but didnt have any but looked and smelt very good!

Solid Irish bar with live music. They have all of the typical food and beverage. Its not cheap though. Each Guinness was $9 and lucky me, I got charged for three when I bought two. Thats the luck of the Irish at Shamrock!Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz

Could be the best pub in Switzerland. Lively, atmosphere, good choice of beers, decent pub grub, and great craic in the evenings. Live music and sport most weekends.

Nice place where you will meet the Swiss residents from UK & IR & Scotland. Every sunday you will find it full and there will be funny quizes. You can give it a go and luckily if you win of course you get a bowl full of beer.

Neat little pub. Different from the rest of Lucerne. They have mostly Irish or non-Swiss beer, but at least one Austrian beer.The seating is quite cramped. Its a decent place to maybe relax when they arent busy.

The staff are very kind. They speak great English as youd expect at such a place. When the bill came they said cash only and when I asked where the nearest ATM was, they said theyd give me the cash back themselves, saving me the trip.Service is good. Atmosphere checks out. There is a small TV for sports and bathrooms upstairs with very silly sex dispenser things. Plus a more private upstairs lounge and outside deck.
