Though it has variety of Sweets & food options & offers good sitting area all that, I found it be little expensive. They charged 100 for Chole-bhature breakfast.

One of the most must visit places in Srinagar if you are a tourist. Pure vegetarian with facilities of dine in really nice. The best part was when I tried the food and it was marbavalous. Pov must try item was chole bhature. Must go and enjoy oosm 🍲 food.

Basically a sweet shop turned into dhaba with light meals. Located at Regal chowk the place is expensive compared to other such sweet shops in the city. The biggest drawback of thie place is non availability of parking place within a radius of 500 meters.

Shakti sweets is a well known name in Srinagar. They are best knows for Chole Bhature and Chat. Generally open throughout the week and located in the heart of the city.

You can have north indian food here south Indian food is good too but the condiments served with it are worth nothing. But surely you can try north indian here

Great place to have vegetarian food. Its located in the heart of the City. From gujrati to south indian. And in navratre you can find a proper thali of satvik food. One of my favourite places to have food.

I was stunned to see how dirty the place was. Extremely unhygienic place. The food is good tbh but the place is unbearable. You guys really need to do some hard core cleaning there.

The chowmein is one of its kind here ,you wont find like this ,good for those who like street foodAlso,they dont have any other branch ,its the only original one

Chola puri was okay but apple pie was just awful.

Poor customer service. Poor ambience. Rude counter staff. Serves same 3 dishes every day in Deluxe Thali. No changes. People just come for chana bhatura. Dont come for lunch or dinner.

Sweets were okey... I ordered 2 shakes with ice cream... Wasnt okey at all.. coffee ice cream shake was worst ... Waste of money & time .. I dont recommend shakes

Its oldest sweet shop in srinagarThey have no other branch in srinagar.Opposite to them another shop is opened which is using tgere name.i had shared its pic.which is with black background and golden name.There dosa is good.its only hindu shop in heart of srinagar.im adding the pic of new shakti sweet.and dish of old shakti sweet.The real shakti is along with modern sweets

Its the original Shakti sweets and has delicious sweets and snacks available. Recently they included bakery as well.This place serves vegetarian only.

Shakti sweets I visited in 70s first time,quality almost same,people at counter have changed but stuff inside counters & cabins is of same taste ..TRUST MATTERS..BESTS SHAKTI

I would have rated this Place as 3.5 Star, its just normal outlet in Lal chowk, not that Clean, bit costly according to Food Quality and other ambiance, I used to go this place when I was in school days and that time chowmin or Chole bhotere costed 20 or 30 but it was tasty and today its about 100, not that good nor that tasty.Over all 3.5 out of 5

Good food but parking is biggest issuenice & friendly staff .Need to improve way of making chowminNo need for cheese in samosa .Since 1990s have been consuming foods from shakti but changing samosa gives 2 starsBest of luck @shaktisweets

The sweet collection on the ground floor is good at reasonable prices. The menu is displayed only at the cashiers counter where orders are immediately placed.The place runs on token system, you need to get the token from the ground floor and submit it at the second floor. You can eat dishes only on the second floor that happens to be a bit overcrowded at times. Not ideal for specially abled people on wheelchairs due to limited space for movement up the staircase.

Food quality is good but its not maintained and decorated....

Wide variety of fresh sweets, their chhola puri is famous all over. They have increased a lot of items dahi bhalle,chaat papdi, gol gappe and what not.Quality of food is good but you can experience a bit delay.

Samosa is niceJalebi is good.Try Chowmein Samosa.Chowmein is not worth trying.Clean and sufficient space to sit.Card / online payment available.

The chola pori is best of this place.. serves variety of other foods and sweets.If you love spicy food, dnt go for aloo tikki. Its gonna ruin ur taste.🤢

"Shakti sweets came to Srinagar in 1970 as a halwayi. Since Sant Rams shop at Amira kadal was old fashioned, Shakti picked up business fast. By 80s it was well established. Unlike many other condimenters, he didnt run away. Instead he bought off 2nd storey as well, which was earlier occupied by Pandit lawyers and used as chambers. Kapoor had arrived much earlier & his shop existed right at front of old habba Kadal bridge. He shifted to Lal Chowk in early 70s."

This is a sweets shops plus you have have here a quick breakfast or anything whenever you are Hungary .it serves chole bature. Noodles chowmin etc .it is a very old sweets shop in the middle of Srinagar I has a no of sweets , biscuits ets . although the serve with tasty quick bite but the place is often very crowded and not not clean ..they are not very much hygienic .the washroom is very bad even plates and tables are not clean may be because of the crowd but it is mostly messy .I will not recommend it for a quick bite but I can recommend it for taking home sweets on festivals .its sweets are very good plus the prices are quite reasonable.
