No good heating. It was cold room. It is not worthy to spend 110 euros for this place.

Lovely hotel. Bedrooms big and full of character. Beautiful room where you have breakfast. The food for breakfast was fantastic. The staff were really friendly and helpful

Been here many many times amazing preety period hotel or should I sadly say bed and breakfast, this hotel apart from breakfast offers nothing anymore, they used to and can say at that time was amazing, staff are great, breakfast is in abundance they also have a lovely entertaining and dining area but after breakfast its locked down via cctv, the owner is failing to offer this service, which is a opportunity lost, so there is no service to their guests which is a shame, if you want to eat or drink in the evening you have to venture out to another hotel or be confined to your room, the rooms are looking tired fridges in the room dont work well and are very dated, as you have to buy your own drinks from the shop you cannot chill them in your room, the air con unit does not work as the unit indicates filters are dirty so had a stuffy hot room to deal with, tv has very few channels so with regret its a good bye Shakespeare, should you choose to offer the services like all the other hotels do let me know and we shall return, Narutus looks amazing and similar price

Very good location, there is a car parking, very helpful staff, maybe a little bit a refurbishment needed.

We had an amazing stay in the heart of old town. The hotel is unique and rooms are comfortable. Great hospitality and excellent breakfast. They have smalm TV sets and limited channels, but we didnt care as you dont come to Vilnius to watch TV! The bathroom floor was heated which should be very nice in colder months. Loved the neighborhood and the free parking!

Beautiful baroque style hotel located in the heart of the old town. The service was friendly and professional. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The room was a bit dark for us. The a la carte breakfast and service was an experience in itself, we liked it! ❤️

It’s a good hotel but not the best... BUT the Restaurant in the hotel is absolutely amazing! Thank you the CHEF, thank you the person who chose and buy drinks for this restaurant! I guess you know a “taste of life”!;-)

Breakfast is great location is really good though the room I was allocated was next to a semi busy street with noise so in the evening the window has to be closed but a nice place so stay

I stayed in a room called Aristotle!!It was a very comfortable room with a cute atmosphere like an attic room. You can order breakfast from many menus, and all of them were delicious and I was very satisfied.Great location!! Ill stay again next time!

Quality declined since last year. It used to be my favourite restaurant, but last time the quality of the food did not match my expectations and then I prefer other restaurants over Shakespeare.The atmosphere is still unique though and in summer, the terrace is perfect for a a glass of wine.

Beautiful appointed rooms each wifh distinct style. Breakfast room/bar full of antique charm. In the morning English breakfast. In the evening a chilled Prosecco!

Ive been here 7 years ago with my wife and the atmosphere is still the same. Quite, peaceful and romantic. Nice room with "at home" feeling. Top restaurant and breakfast. Kitchen open from 10 to 24 whole days. Located in the heart of old Vilnius city.

The hotel itself is really nice and comfy, with free parking, in the very center. But we didnt like the restaurant at all. Once we ordered a steak (which is the most expencive course in the menuand they brought it too well done, we asked to change but the new one was rather rare. The duck and pate was ok.

Amazing place of very superior standard. Rooms are named, not numbered, and are famous authors. There is off street parking in their courtyard but through a tight entrance. Also the cobbled street leading to this hotel is supposedly close to traffic from 22:00 to 06:00 so be careful if arriving late at night - although we did not find any physical closure.

Simple a fantastic hotel in old town of Vilnius, will for sure come back again...even just to have the breakfast again, it was the best hotel breakfast I ever tasted.

A very beautiful location with quite interesting rooms. Our apartment was large and everything was there what we needed to fell like at home. Especially the very big bathroom was fantastic. The breakfast is served at the table (no buffet), everything tastes fine and the stuff was soooooo friendly! Only one of the stuff at the reception was not sooo friendly.

How can you not love a room thats named after a famous writer. The rooms could be more updated but they are spacious and clean. Each one has cool art and books to read. Also, the a la carte breakfast was superb and the staff very nice and helpful

One of the most beautiful places in the city. Located in the heart of old city in one of palaces.It became for me a routine thing to visit the restaurant, that is not only beautifully designed and and very rafinated place. The place on routine base surprises me with its both great "classic" food, and with new gastronomic discoveries for me.Great place for whiskey lovers. Great choice and very interesting whiskey based cocktails.

Best hotel I have stayed in so far. Was a little bit surprised that they actually really went through with the Shakespeare theme. Many hotels just have a theme for marketing, but in reality they don’t do things differently. Not the case here, as example don’t they have room numbers ..Fantastic breakfast. You can order all kinds of things, and as much as you want. They even serve a good steak as breakfast. And yes of course I had to get it, and it was good!

One of the best in Lithuania, my favorite room is the Oscar Wilde, it has the view of St. Anne church. The restaurant is also not bad, great breakfast and dinners to be had.

An institution of Vilnius dinning experience! One of the longest running restaurants in Lithuania. Perhaps the best English Breakfast served in town.

A very characteristic hotel! Everybody who has any love for classic literature should stay here. Every room is named after a great author and represents such with different little design elements.Stuff is friendly and helpful.Breakfast is lovely and is a little different than a boring buffet.Location is right in the center but off the main Street, so that you are a minute walk away from everything, but it isnt loud.In general stayed here a second time and everything was just as good. The only small issue is that the hotel might be showing its age, but it only makes feel more ambiente full.

Charming boutique hotel with excellent service!This charming hotel is located in a beautiful Baroque building in a quiet part of the Old Town just a few minutes away from all of the major sights. Every room is unique and inspired by some of the most prominent writers of the world. Our room was nicely inspired by Oscare Wilde (see attached photos).The great service on this hotel makes you feel comfortable – and you can see that the staff really enjoy their job and like to talk to you on a way that makes you feel important. There are so many hotels that could learn a lot about service from this amazing boutique hotel in Vilnius!They have a wonderful À la carte menu for breakfast. Shakespeare Hotel is simply the best hotel in Vilnius.Cosy wonderful rooms, great service and food.I have been staying here on and off over the last 9-10 years and they have never let me down, and the hotel is still looking just as beautiful every time I come here.
