Big old house, maintenance work were going on.

Went to visit 1 Mar 22 closed for an extensive renovation.

At the time of visit it was closed as renovation works were ongoing.

Great experience . Old but gold place 🦋

‫بيت الشيخ عيسى بن علي آل خليفة ‬‫وهو من أقدم البيوت في مدينة المحرق يمتاز البيت بالبساطة مع لمسة معمارية تتناغم مع طبيعة المناخ الحار عبر فتحات دخول الهواء اسمها البادجير (البادكير)مثل التكييف المركزي كما قال لنا العم احمد و يتوسط الحوش بئر ماء ودرج له باب يؤدي الى الطابق العلوي ‬

Looks like a big heritage residential house, well-maintained. Unfortunately it was closed for renovation works at the time of my visit.

An admission ticket for an adult costs 1 BD.Place restored, neat, beautifully described. A great place to spend time with family. A place for a moment of admiration, reflection and reflection. I highly recommend - a pearl on the map of Bahrain!A bit further a wonderful piece of the old town with well-kept streets.

A heritage house in Muharraq worth a visit. Attractions to see are the wind tower, coloured stained glass work and the house plan...it has the main court, guest area and servant quarters. Its open all days except Friday.Definitely people who are interested in Bahrain history should visit this house.

Historic place

Entry 1bh per person. Old castle. Beautiful.The House of Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa was his residence and the seat of his government.  This beautiful house offers insight into the royal life in the 19th century. It consists of several rooms arranged around four courtyards and characterized by its wind towers. It is considered one of the most impressive example of Gulf Islamic architecture on the island.

very nicely done, for tourists to see Bahrain before.

Its an historical building!!

Our tour guide was great! I dont remember his name which makes me feel bad, as he went out of his way to give us a detailed tour with more information than I couldve imagined. Hope all the best for him and he Shaikh Isa Bin Ali house.

Interesting place to visit, you will stay here around 1 hour. Weak side is absence of furnishing, otherwise good insight on Bahraini architecture.

Nice historical site

Интересный образец арабской архитектуры. Впрочем, кроме голых стен здесь совершенно ничего нет. Ни экспонатов, ни предметов интерьера. Вход стоит 1 BD.

A very nice place to visit when youre in Bahrain. It takes you back on the early days of the country.

Great place. Well kept. Good history and a nice little coffee shop across the road at the right hand side of the house from the front door.

مدروسة مفهوم تنفيذ ممتازة. تم تجديده مع المنازل التقليدية، كما يوجد مقهى، مكتبة أيضا. يمكنك قضاء بعض الوقت سيرا على الأقدام عبر ارجو، وتضم من المنازل. خذ استراحة، مرة أخرى إلى للحصول على نبض البحرين معيشة. هذا هو حقيقية لؤلؤة البحرين.

An old historical house of bahrain

House of a former Bahraini ruler. Great insight into a former royal palace and seat of government. A must visit for Tourists. Harks back to the days the Ruling family was based in Muharraq.

Was wondering about the house which was very interesting when someone grabbed me and gave me and my friends a tour around the centre for culture and research and many other be buildings in the area.... Best kept secret in Bahrain

Original building without furniture

Fascinating example of traditional Bahraini architecture. Shows not only the historic usage of the buildings, but also features a very interesting wind tower.However, there are few facilities on site, beyond and more information panels to aid interpretation would be nice.
