Food is great but the delivery service is AWFUL. Was so much better when they worked with UBEReats. Have been waiting for my food for over an hour and when I call the restaurant they are eager to hang up with me and promise me the driver is on the way. Recommended to dine in, but AVOID DELIVERY.

Dont tell anyone else about this place... honestly keep it quiet. Very reasonable prices and sumptuously delicious 😋

Just ordered a takeaway from here. The chicken makhani was inedible. It tastes like heinz tomato soup has been poured over chicken. I think this may be the actual case. I can make better indian food with a jar from a supermarket. This is not Indian food. No spice or flavour. Very disappointed. Do not order from this restaurant!!!

Wonderful food! So nice to find something local after being away from my second home for 3 years! I was a bit disappointed with the papadums as they weren’t as spicy or ‘authentic’ as I expected, but the lamb and the rice was very tasty!

Worth the drive!We arrived in London today and went straight here, not realizing it was a 30-minute drive from Paddington. Well worth it! Every dish we had was fresh and delicious. The service was fun and courteous.

A cute little place in East Finchley staff are very welcoming.The food was good the daal needed some seasoning but other then that the rest of the food was nice.Really good value for money for what you are getting.

Traditional Indian restaurant. Nice small corner restaurant. Food served very quick and taste was good. According to the current economic scenario price is ok. There are opportunities for improvements some areas inside the restaurants.

The chicken Biryani was lovely! Succulent pieces of chicken, beautifully spiced, with long and undisturbed grains of basmati rice made for a fabulous dish. Served with a refreshing raita. Would recommend!

This restaurant I have frequented probably around 75- 80 times and it gets better every single time! The quality of the food is equal to the service. Every dish is exceptional, for a starter..chicken 65 is a must!! Food was very fresh and flavoursome, but the service let you down as we had to ask twice for drinks on several occasions from different waiters.

Amazing food and wonderful service. I particularly recommend the paneer - it was spectacular! The naan was also so lovely and fresh. And dont skip dessert, the gulab jamun is delicious! 😋

One of the best Indian restaurants within 10 miles. Cooked with fresh spices, and a number of different tasty dishes. Have been here several times before and it never dissapoints. Also some reasonably priced and very palatable red wines.

Deffinatly the best Indian place around the are! Authentic food, friendly service and extremely good value for money. If you love Indian food, especially punjabi, this place is deffinatly worth checking out! Ps. There chana is one of the best I have ever tried!

Bang average. Food swims in oil and is full of food colouring.One dish the only flavour was salt. Really not anything positive to say about the experience. Not the worst meal I’ve ever had but won’t be going there ever again either. Life is too short to eat average food like this, especially when there are thousands of other Indian restaurants to pick from.

Great little Indian! We had a selection of vegetarian dishes which brimmed with flavour. Friendly and attentive service and tasty food at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Arrived 10 mins after ordering having said it would be an hour. Made me a bit suspicious! I had the aubergine curry and mushroom rice......very average not particularly tastyand was almost undercooked. . Friend had a chicken dish and that was very average. We will stick with the wonderful Taste of Nawab in Colney Hatch Lane.

I ordered a take away for 6 people. The food was cooked in good time and I had a call lettin me know it was ready to pick up. One of my guests, an American, who has been in London for many months said it was the tastiest Indian meal he had, and he has been having at least one or two a week. The qulaity is excellent

We have been collecting takeaway from Shahi Pakwaan frequently over the last year since moving nearby and the food has always been delicious. On our last visit however we were informed by a member of staff that the tips we had been leaving when collecting our food were not distributed between the people working there but kept by the management. I think this is a very poor way to treat people so unfortunately we wont be coming back. Shame as we do miss the food!

Great staff and good atmosphere.The waiter was very friendly.I did ask for vegan options but the food came with yoghurt and cream. Id be a bit careful if you have any allergies.

Friendly staff who have gone over and above to make the restaurant safe post lock down. Dined in at Shahi Pakwaan and the food was absolutely excellent with a great dining experience. Must be one of the best Indian restaurants in North London. Look forward to going back again soon!

Best Indian food in North London. You wouldnt think it from the location just off the north circular, but it really is excellent with generous portion sizes and friendly service. Most importantly the food is fantastic.

What a wonderful gem in North London! I have not visited the restaurant myself but placed a take away order from them and had a lovely experience! Food arrived promptly and everything was tasty & delicious! Customer service was also lovely! I cannot recommend it more and will be soon visiting the restaurant too!

Had been meaning to try this place for ahead after numerous recommendations and so pleased we did. Service was friendly and attentive and they couldn’t do enough for two vegan diners too. Everything was fresh and tasty and loced the small sharing dishes - particularly the black daal, cauliflower and chick peas. Tandoori prawms were fresh and delicious and I cannot wait to go back. We were a group of 8 and each of us agreed. Well done - what a great local find.

By far the best curry I have had in a long time! This is a proper little gem. Food quality, flavours and service was outstanding. I only discovered this place this evening and was seriously impressed. You wouldn’t guess it from the location but it’s a must for curry lovers. Thank you for a perfect meal! 10/10

Lovely food and atmosphere. We went with my husband and 8 year old daughter. She really enjoyed her chicken Korma and I had a beautiful Goan fish curry. Reasonable prices too.

Only had takeaway from here, but everything Ive had so far has been incredible, even things like the poppadoms stand out. Great value too. Someone commented that it doesnt make you feel greasy which is typical of Indian food - couldnt agree more. Dead pleased with this find....a real gem!

Really nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly. The service and arrangements are higher standard than usual restaurants.Food was nice but I felt like the flavours were a bit lacking. Other than that very nice. Mild Masala flavour. I would prefer more flavour and Masala.

I am sad to write this. I was expecting a great take away meal after reading the other reviews. We ordered a meal for 12pm Sunday lunchtime. We were kept waiting for about 20 minutes although we were given a bottle of beer in compensation. I had to check that I had indeed ordered a full Tandoori Chicken as the portion was pretty small. I was not impressed by the taste of the curries and I have had far better. Worst of all we were very thirsty after the meal indicating the use of a lot of salt. The meal was not terrible but not particularly good.

We live nearby to this restaurant and it is fantastic. We were initially dubious by all the amazing reviews but they are all true! Weve had takeaways and sat in to eat and have been really impressed. The food is brilliant and the service is exemplary. Really happy to have discovered such a great local restaurant.

Went here on a Saturday night with my brother and his partner. We had seen the reviews but knew that it was a local restaurant so we werent expecting too much. However, we all really liked it and agreed that the food was both unusual and. excellent quality. None of the "bright red" curries you see so often. Fresh food and spices, well cooked and presented. A comfortable decor that is very welcoming. I realise that with all the good reviews we probably wont be able to get a table the next time that we try to book, but you have to give praise where it is due. What more could you ask for?

This is quite local to me but has only opened recently. I went with a friend, drawn by suspiciously good reviews, but it turns out that theyre totally justified, so heres another one!Nice modern decor, good menu, well spiced curries with good portion sizes and reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Will be back soon.

We have been twice to this restaurant and the food is extremely good . Certainly the best since we eat a remarkable Indian meal in Leicester some years ago.. We took friends and they were also very impressed. Service is friendly and efficient, a very enjoyable evening. We wish them every success.

What good fortune, to have some of the best Indian food Ive ever tasted, just round the corner. The owners and staff are helpful and happy to recommend combinations of dishes. Portion sizes are good, and prices are very reasonable. I hope to return many times!

Highly recommend and will be returning. Ordered from here last Friday, the staff seem to be extremely friendly and kind. The interior was well thought out and looks like a great environment for family and friends. Ordered a takeaway for collection, the lentil dish was mouth watering and lamb dish was just right, both dishes exceeded expectations.
