It is Jama mansjid (mosqueof Meerut city. Very old and historical mosque in Meerut. It was built by Mahmood ghaznavi governor. It is older than Delhis Jama mansjid. Local people has been doing the good maintenance for this mosque. It has a big central dome and high minarets. It is not Mughal time mosque as per name plate inside the premise of the mosque it was built by the governor of Mahmood Ghaznavi near about 1000 to 1090 AD so it older to Delhi Jama mansjid which was built by emperor Shahjajan in 15th century. Under the main dome of the mosque there is good works of tiles.
