Pizza & traditional pastas plus brunch at an outpost of a local Italian chain with sidewalk seating.
Went for pickup and the pasta was surprisingly delicious.
I really enjoyed the service and food . It was my mothers birthday and they really succeeded in making us feel comfortable. I appreciated that the staff was so friendly. The food was excellent as well. I had the Frutta di mar and it was excellent! Theyre awesome and again, I appreciated the service!
Best Italian restaurant in NYC! Caring attentive staff with wonderful owners! Thank you always for being so welcoming and always smiling! Wait staff with all the waiters being outstanding !
Everything was ready on time and well seasoned. House wine selections were quite good. The entire staff was both helpful and friendly.
Run from this place!! My wife who is in a wheelchair and I went for a late lunch. There were about 4 to 6 others finishing meals. Our waitress was initially friendly and brought bread and the tasty appetizer in a timely way.Then...uh oh waited as we watched all the other diners leave the place. And then watched as our waitress left too!! We had been waiting 45 minutes by then for main course as takeout orders were delivered 1st!??We finally got up to leave and they had the nerve to ask if we wanted the food to go!!@?Is this how you treat handicapped?!! SHAME ON YOU!!@@AND SHAME ON THAT BLONDE WAITRESS WHO ABANDONED US!!! NEVER COMING BACK.
First time here, with my family. Celebrating my mothers birthday. Food was delicious and filling. Service was great!
This is a nice Italian restaurant , the pasta dishes are very tasty and freshly made, also enjoyed their calamari appetizer !🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠
Wonderful, delicious food, beautiful plating and great service. The GF pasta was fantastic. I look forward to my next visit
Leo and his crew are great!Very accommodating.Meat balls are a must!Pizza Bianca is superb.
The tuna tartar tasted off, like the fish was old. The orecchiette was very oily, I’ve had a similar dish at many other restaurants and this version was stripped down to the main ingredients only, no detectable seasoning or sauce (unless you count all the oil). The cocktails were also very strange, even classic cocktails like the old fashioned had changes made to the recipe (like adding maraschino liquor? The staff was nice but compared to the locations in Manhattan this one is worth skipping unless you are in a nearby, in a hurry and are here with family (in which case they can definitely provide a high chair and the simplified versions of the dishes might be a good thing).
Excellent recipes, excellent ingredients. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere while eating good food with the view of the city fountain.
Went there 2 days ago for dinner with my family. Overall, the food was average. Its disappointing because the atmosphere is nice.
The food is not exceptional. The menu is limited. I expected more, I was very disappointed
This is our go-to Italian place. Always exceptional. Never inconsistent. No matter what you order. If I could give six stars I would.
Fabulous food. Eating inside or outside. Do you know they warm the milk here for your coffee😄I love it.
Came in on Mother’s Day, not busy literally 10 empty tables and I know this because I counted them in the 30 minutes I was waiting for food. Once seated no bread came out, had to ask for it. The parties food came out except one (which was a burgerwaited over 30 minutes for a simple burger to come out and the rest of our food got cold. Had to ask for it twice and each time they estimated 5 minutes. Not once did the manager come to check on us but made sure other tables were good. Our waitress also never asked us if we wanted additional drinks while we were waiting for our food after clearly seeing we finished beers and a bottle of wine. We also had to ask for water refills. At the end no part of our meal was comp in order to make up for our troubles. Will not be returning to this establishment. Serafinas in the city is 100% better even on busy days! This was not a happy first Mothers Day
Excellent pasta and shrimp! Service prompt and friendly.
Food was absolutely delicious, portion size was perfect, and the staff was very friendly.
The service is amazing. Will definitely come back soon! The hostess was very helpful and the waitress was amazing and checked on us at just the right time. The food was to die for. Highly recommend
I had to call the restaurant for the DoorDash guy to get the food released. He waited there for 20 minutes and myself well over an hour. The food arrived ice cold even though I live 5 minutes away. For the price you might as well just order from Marios.
I received a gift card for Christmas and was super excited to order from here and when I called for a pick up order I was told that they are not accepting any gift cards currently which was purchased only on 12/21/21 so it’s not like the gift card is expired. Total scam to sell gift cards that are not redeemable due to your “system isn’t online”. I wonder if this was disclosed at the time of purchase. Terrible way to run your company.
Food is Blaise in comparison to other Sarafina locations but the Wait staff is Stwlkar which makes up for the food.
Delicious meal. Enjoyed everything I ordered. Outstanding service. I’ll make a point to come back when I’m in town.
Have tried serafina in NYC as well as in white plains. Same verdict - rather below average food. Never going back there again. Throwing 2-3x the right amount of butter and cheese on a pasta does not make it tasty, it shows the masking the ability to make a good pasta.
My family had gone there after a family members funeral. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We had several children with us and they were very accommodating to whatever they wanted. Even if it wasnt part of the luncheon. I highly recommend Serafina. The restaurant was also very clean and open. Looking forward to going there for a nice dinner.
A favorite spot of mine in White Plains. Food and service is always excellent here-and I’m delighted to see another restaurant opening in Scarsdale. You won’t be disappointed here by the way. Only irritation is the parking.
We had the tuna and thr calamari.Absolute garbage. Considering we were the only table at 4pm on Fridat, the cheff would have done his best but nah... Id say skip this place.
I ordered a margerita pizza to go. Fast service, but the pizza was not good. I was given three leaves of basil, four olives, and there was barely any cheese and it seemed overcooked. Margherita pizza is supposed to be fresh mozzerella, thick slices (or at least visibly slices), and fresh tomatoes too... and there was hardly anything on it at all especially cheese. There were no tomatoes and hardly any basil. It was very thin and light also. So not worth $18.00. I wont order pizza there again. The other items on their menu are pretty pricey too and I am hesitant to go back. I was there once long ago for dine in and the service was horrible and I got back to my job late. The service was great for take out during my visit today.
Food? My daughter loved it when she went with a friend on her own. Location? Right in the center of White Plains, next to the Opus hotel that has valet parking. So why the 1*? Because the service is downright AWFUL. 2 servers for the whole restaurant on a Friday. 45 min after our reservation time, 30 min after sitting down, … we received our water, but no one was available to take our drink or food order. .but that’s okay, because we didn’t have any silverware, plates, glasses, etc. While I appreciate the challenges in getting staff nowadays, the restaurant needs to manage expectations appropriately and make the tough choices - even if it means shrinking capacity. Such a waste. After nearly an hour, we just got up and left. Unfortunately, there was no staff to notice.
I am assuming that the pandemic is responsible for understaffing and slow service. Food was passable, appropriate portion size, prize in the midrange for WP. NOT a place I am going to prioritize for a repeat visit.
Great place with finger-licking good food!!!We shared the focaccia, the avocado salad, the tagliata pasta, the four seasons pizza and the veal and each was better than the one before!!Highly recommended
The food was excellent, the portions very generous. The only down is that their upholstery needs repair. The booth seats were thorn open.
Great food! Service was a little slow this night but everybody was really friendly. Not sure if someone didnt show up for work because they appeared short staffed. We had 3 dishes and I tasted each and they were all excellent. The bronzing melted in your mouth and the pasta with the clams really was excellent too. The 7 layer chocolate cake (i think it was called sesationhad freshly made ice cream which really made the chocolate special!!!
Authentic italian cuisine. Portions are really good. Wide range of courses. Busy restaurant. Make sure you arrive early if you have no reservations. Friendly host and staff.
My family and I dined last night at Serafina. We had a truly amazing dinner. The service was excellent and the food was flavorful and pleasing. The restaurant was full and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. The food was nicely presented. I liked that the plates were full but not overwhelming. I give Serafina a 5 star rating and I have already told my friends about this wonderful restaurant. I also liked the atmosphere and welcoming feeling.
Went to Serafina for first time, very few people in restaurant, but it still took almost 45 minutes to receive our entree. Ordered a gin & tonic, tonic water was flat, gin difficult to taste. Food was ok, nothing special. Attractive corner location with nice outdoor patio. Based on all the positive reviews, will chalk our visit up to a bad night and give it one more try.
I come here more for the scene and vibe versus the food. All the food is very good, it’s still not the most authentic Italian that you could find. It has a lot of flavor but it’s more of a chic modern Italian restaurant versus a traditional authentic restaurant.May take a while if you show-up with a large group.
The ambiance was ok, but the food was average. The bread was cold (shouldnt it be warmed??And the meals were very bland. I had the butternut squash soup and the pasta with mushrooms and pollo. Nice presentation, but very bland.
Our family had a great meal here. I had the branzino and my wife had a special (chicken and eggplant with light marsala sauce). Both were delicious. Kids had the margherita pizza and penne. They liked their meals. Tiramisu, chocolate gelato, and lemon sorbet were all delicious. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. In European style they didnt bring the bill until we asked for it.
Went as part of a large group. I hate that there is no parking, but thats just like all White Plains restaurants. The service was great and the food was great! I had the fried calamari, chicken francaise and tiramisu. All excellent. Was very surprised to see the huge portions. Tiramisu is AMAZING.
This place is very underrated. should be much more than 3.9 stars. I’ve eaten at all the top Italian restaurants in Manhattan and this should be about 4.2 - 4.4 stars. Try the Bolognese. One of the best around. Legit Italian owner is there all the time. Very nice. Service is excellent as well. Sit next to the windows. Very nice atmosphere.
Serafina is in a class of its own wonderful service and the food was Great.I love serafina it was a wonderful experience going there. You need to check out there pizza and other fabulous cuisines this place has it all.You need to come here and bring your friends and family serafina you got five stars in my book.
Really like the decor, I order the Serafina chicken salad, really good dish
If you are in Westchester and looking for some good Italian food look no further than Serafina! We brought in a large group and the wait staff were more than accommodating. I had the lobster ravioli and it was delicious. Good wine as well. And it will not break the bank.
There is a good atmosphere, but the pizza was not done well. The crust was thin, and the toppings were not mixed smoothly together. One part was only a slice of meat, and the other part was only basil toppings. It was quite pricey for a small pizza.
Delicious food, good service but a fair wait for our food despite only ordering a salad and a burger between us. Great atmosphere, not too cramped, and very friendly and professional staff. I would definitely eat here again.
The service was great the menu delicious I wish they gave bigger portions
Small portions for the price, server didnt check on us after receiving our meal, pizza crust was dry and flavorless, pasta was bland and flavorless, medium burger was well done and flavorless, toppings were skimpy, just overall disappointed. Bread service was cold and dry. I expressed to the server i was displeased, he was uninterested. Never again.
The restaurant is nice and staff were fine. Bread was a little stale. The pizza crust was very dry, not moist or flavorful at all. My friends steak salad was good but the portion seems small.
I liked the pizza and found the atmosphere inviting. I would recomend this to friends and to family .The staff was really freindly and the bread tastes really good. I loved the fish dishes and found the menu to have a lot of options. If you cant make it to the city. Sarafina in white palins is a good option.
