Habad St 34, Jerusalem, Jerusalem
Seoul House - Korean restaurant in Jerusalem, Israel
Terrible service. Waited 35 minutes to only receive part of the order, then another 15 min to get an overcooked small piece of salmon served with chopped lattice and spring onions (most expensive dish and worst vfm). Dish was also missing the steamed rice it was supposed to be served with. Staff made zero efforts to apologize or make our wait pleasant. Would recommend to stay away from this place.
It’s a bit pricey, and the service is on the slower side, but that’s to be expected from a place so new. The atmosphere was very nice, the service was friendly, and the food was absolutely incredible.(and though I’m no expert on Korean food, it seemed very authenticHighly recommended!
Great place to get something out of the ordinary... Good food, nice people!
Very cozy Koreans place. Kosher parve. Interesting dishes, very friendly personal. Big portion. If you are looking for something new - hardly recommend
Delicious, seemingly quite authentic Korean food. The kimchi 김치, was really something special. And the bibimbap 비빔밥, was delicious. I do wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price, though from what I understand Koreans generally eat smaller portions, which makes it all the more authentic! A bit more seating space would be ideal as well. (The photo below shows the kimchi)
Its nice to see new flavours coming to this side of town.
This restaurant advertised delivery to Bet Shemesh between 6-8 pm and they didn’t arrive til 10pm! They left Jerusalem at 6:00pm and the food in the car for 4 hours. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had!!!!
Sorry for the bad pictures - but you get the vibe.Me and my friend were excited to go to a kosher Korean resturant, so I have to say I was a little bit dissapointed.Food didnt arrive in the original plates as demonstrated (due to covid-19??and it didnt taste like authentic Korean food.Ive been to vegan resturants in Korea so Im a little familiar with it.Prices were a bit expensive too, and you dont get side dishes for free.If you want to experience it once then yeah, sure go ahead.. but I dont really see myself going there again
Very cute place, great spot. The staff are very welcoming, and the food is very authentic:)
Nice food, super nice deco, and extremely friendly and inviting host.A little too expensive though, and the portions are too small. We would probably come again in a few months to check if there has been any improvement with those matters.
On the good side: the only Korean restaurant in Jerusalem, friendly service. The food was not good and very expensive. We had bi bim bap it came in room temperature in cheap plastic bowl instead of the hot traditional clay bowl. Its was a pile of mostly cold rice with some vegetable and cold oily egg - 52 lLS. The starters were as disappointing - 35 ILS.
Very cute place. Great location, but food is extremely overpriced (probably partly because of the location and demand). Also all the dishes that I have tried were not as great. Taste was a little bit plain. I dont think thats how they cook them in Korea.
The food is not very good, the place is small but "plasticy" and the utensil was not very clean. Maybe worth coming in order to be able to say "i was once in a kosher Korean place in the old city of Jerusalem".
Very special place, surprisingly in the old city. The food and decoration are authentic. Price are not affordable though return of investment is good. I recommend one of the meals that looks like gnocchi. Korean drinks are good as well.
Great place for delicious naturally made authentic Korean food.
The only good thing abt this place is its location and its interiors (kinda cute). Food is extremely overpriced for what it is and the entrees portions are so tiny they would barely qualify for appetizers. Bibimbap’s rice seemed old. Food barely tastes authentic. Huge disappointment. Don’t recommend it.
Nice and cool place to have corean food, veggie or fish! Good kimchi, nice people, nice plates... Very much appreciated. Just near the Cardo.Free WiFi 😉
Little Korean place, very tasty, cozy and authentic. Food is prepared very fast and very well.
I’m impressed they got it right! I’ve visited both North and South Korea a total of 25 times so I know the taste of Korean food well... and they got it right ! Well done ! The only problem is the location was a little hard to find. The place is small and sits only about 25 asian customers... and maybe 18 large Westerners
There is a really cool vibe to this one of a kind korean restaurant. You wont find anything like it anywhere in the Old City and it is really worth a stop. The food is amazing and the portion sizes are great! I live in the Old City and come here once a week and I could not recommend it enough!!
Vegeterian (almost veganKorean resturant in the old city of Jerusalem. Belong to a Korean couple who converted to be Jewish, the food is Kosher. They also "converted" the dishes to be vegaterian. Moreover, the place is quite small and really cozy, the design is a mix of Korean Asian wood work ornaments with a Jerusalem-style stones architecture like a cave. I like the vibes a lot!! I have no pictures of the food because it was too good (or I was too hungry)
We had high hopes, but the menu and food let us down. Fairly bland, not authentic tasting.
Services are huge TERRIBLE. Also, Its not authentic Korean tastes. If you want Korean food, I am HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND there. You should to go in front of the kitchen and get your food. Like the restaurant staff. The sauces are 100% different with their pictures. You will waste time and money. We ruined dinner. Trust me. I am an expert in Korean foods. Good luck!
Lovely place, quite and intimate. The Korean food is excellent and the service is great!
Really authentic food. Clean, very tasty, great atmosphere! Best Korean experience in Israel
Hidden gem in the Old City. Amazing prices on beer, plus tasty food thats definitely unique to the area. Highly recommend!
Delicious and very popular had to come back 3 times until I could find a place to sit.But when I did on my third attempt sometimes weeks apart it was worth it.
Ive been here with friends for a dinner. Food was great, very tasty. The design of the place felt authentic, the alcohol was good, We also liked the concept of self service. Would recommend that place for date or sitting with friends.
Our first experience with Korean food. This was a hidden gem- the restaurant was decorated perfectly, the food was delicious, and the staff was very helpful. We will definitely return on our next trip through Jerusalem!
Cosy homey restaurant, try to book the Korean style low table. The grilled salmon was great and comes with sides including the awesome seaweed "crackers". The highlight was the tteokbokki. You must get it. Portions are smallish and very reasonably priced which allows trying a couple of things from the menu. The spicy tteokbokki was amazing and quite spicy, so choose the sweet version if youre sensitive.Friendly staff. Self serve.
Delicious, homey Korean food. Vegetarian and gluten free options, but there are also dishes with fish. Small and cute. What I wish I could have had on my trip to Korea but couldnt since there is only Chabad for kosher food there. Great addition to Jerusalems restaurants.
One very disappointing place. The restaurant works as self service, while its tables and chairs are packing the place so awfully, you cant even get your food without interrupting everyone else sitting. Dishes are pricey, taste isnt more then fine, portions are quite small, and the demo plastic - ACTUALLY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DISH ITSELF, misleading costumers. On top of all, when we requested to return a dish because we didnt connect to the strong flavored sauce, the manager said its a problem and didnt agree for anything beside picking something else from the menu, so we paid 60 nis (!!! for nothing actually. We wont come back, andwell make sure others wont as well.
Great kimchi! A bit tough to find but great service, atmosphere and fantastic food!
Small but warm place. I really enjoyed to find kosher and Korean.
This place is a great place for a lunch break or a dinner after a day in the western wall and the Jewish quarter of the old city of Jerusalem. It’s a small cozy place, it’s get full quickly so you may wanna reserve a seat during rush hour. They don’t serve deserts but food itself was delicious. The location is also a big deal - Korean restaurant in the heart of the old city. We had really great time!
The food was very good , the service was friendly but slow , the portions were on the small size .
What a hidden gem! Authentic, tasty food in a clean and air conditioned setting. Friendly staff is an added bonus.
Good atmosphere, yummy food that is hard to find in Israel
Oh wow! Didn’t expect to find authentic Korean food in the Old town of Jerusalem! And for it to be THAT GOOD!Great food, nice and helpful staff and cool atmosphere. Very much recommended
Really nice Korean restaurant, with great people and decor.
Excellent food, good sized portions with authentic flavours and look. Great decor and vibe, friendly staff and nice location. Highly recommended!
Really excellent! Cozy location, friendly service, and *delicious* food!
Wonderful food ^^
Gluten free during Passover. The food tastes nice but the price is a bit high compared to the quantity. We ate in plastic plates and the service wasnt something (not bad but not good either)... Maybe next time will be better.
Loved it. Its the only kosher Korean place in the world and it didnt let down at all. Wish it had a meat menu but the Korean Poké is fantastic. Delicious homemade ginger Chile sauce. Really nice service and a beautiful environment. Delicious and not very expensive.
Nice place, good service, guess the foods not my thang :(
Great food and amazing staff. The owner is so nice and genuine. A hidden gem in the heart of the old city.
Amazing place, great and cozy atmosphere! The food was very good and was well-made, fresh and new to me! I really enjoyed everything about this place, definitely will be coming back again.
Looks like a beautiful intimate Korean pearl in the old city. Very welcoming. Id love to have a meal with my family!
Great atmosphere, tasty authentic food, friendly service. A bright future ahead!
