Seoul Garden - Korean restaurant in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Very good for sushi
Nice restaurant. Good service. You can see the cook make the food of your choice right in front of you which could be very entertaining.
Excellent dining experience . Enjoyed all the 10+ varieties served for our group of 7 friends. Our host was Sanjay Suchak.
The Chef is exceptional skilled, the food is amazing delicious
very friendly service staff, but the teppanyaki is the key highlight.. the chef was just super amazing, had some out of the world skills and was so engaging with us .. we had the salmon and the pork teriyaki , both were amazing.. the sushis are the best in town by a mile , and went really well with sake. Anyone looking for quality japanese / asian food , this place is not to be missed ! had a great time ..
It was great experience, the food was perfect portion size for 2 people & the chef had good culinary experience 😊
clean and nice environment. quiet. I made a good dinner with a Korean friend there.
you can find every korean food here but it’s expensive. cold noodle is delicious (no. 152)
The sushi was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. The employers were really polite and friendly.Thank you so much for your service.
A very good restaurant with nice food service. I once ordered Korean food but didnt come with all that I expected.
We came for a quick dinner as it was our first night in town. The waiter was very attentive and tried to understand our requests. The meals came out quickly, were well seasoned and tasty. The prices are a little high for Dar though. The environment was clean and good for small and big groups.
Food is expensive but whoever visit here may satisfy not only because ingredients and sea foods are fresh but also because you can enjoy pretty good korean & japanese food. Also, you can try Korean vodca, Soju.I especially love Sashimi and Norwegian roll.
Great lunch experience with classic japanese and Korean dish. The Gyoza was fish based which was surprising but lovely. Good Salmon maki rolls for our salmon craving and lovely bimbimbap and ramen soup with a tasteful broth, nice ingredients and great presentation. For the whole meal we had green tea which is a great way of sharing a meal with friends. Recommended in dar.
Delicious and tasty sushi and rolls! Service need more supervision or more training but friendly staff!!NB:The table are missing few decorations,I recommand this place!
Nice food. Friendly and entertaining Chef.
Goong is better on Korean food. And the service is not really good here. You might need to wait for 10min to get your drinks by reminding them, also ask them for tissue to clean.
Very entertaining chef. Made the whole difference. Food was good. Portions vs pricing is a little unmatched but overall a great experience
Had lunch there this afternoon, we ordered tempura mori from the menu and the waiter agreed that we could replace the fish with extra calamari instead. The dish came with one piece of calamari, so we asked for the extra. The kitchen then sent an extra piece, only for us to find out that it was actually a piece of white sweet potato. The kitchens explanation for this was that they cover all the ingredients (for a dish that serves 4 different ingredients in onewith the flour beforehand, therefore they can’t distinguish what they’re frying. The waiter also kept refusing to discuss further this with the manager, and gave us various excuses.I wouldn’t be hesitant to call this daylight robbery. Extremely disappointed with the management.
Am from Japan and not recommended at all The teppantaki show, hot plate BBQ show was wrongly presented. I do not want people to think it was the Japanese way. We do appreciate food and we do not play with food.
Fair sushi. Should have improve the rolling skills and expecting more authentic ramen.I like the design of the Osaka side. Clean, relaxing and quite. For staff are polite. For drinks if could include fresh juice will be perfect.
Sashimi was excellent as usual. Tuna was out of stock(my favouritebut other select was still good and fresh. Keep up the great work
Friendly live cooking. Hilarious cooks. Yummy food, very filling. Nice for family outings too.
The teppanyaki here (where a chef cooks food at a grill at your tableis good and its a fun thing to do with a group. It has some nice Asian decor and service is pretty good.
The spicy tuna is really good , the rainbow roll was my fave . The food was amazing . Will be back .
Garlic rice is exquisite!!Also highly recommend the chicken teriyaki.Teppanyaki (for groupsis truly a fun experience.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Something different for a change. But I found it expensive. The food and service was great.
sushi is great, but the Kimchi Cake is not
Best restaurant in Dar Es Salaam ever! They have Japanese, Korean and Thailand food and everything is tastey. You can enjoy fresh sashimi and sushi from fish market everyday. The most inspiring experience is Tepanyaki(steal plate). Well experienced Thailish chefs are providing amazing cooking show!Enjoy delicious food, various drinks from many countries with your family or friends. You wont be disappointed.
Serving Japanese, Korean and Thai cuisines.Tried dishes: Spicy Thai Tuna, Sushi and Stir-fry veggies, rice with prawns, tuna, chicken and beef.Live cooking which is very entertainingThe cook made it a pleasant dining experience!Children Love the Show.Nice open setting
Its a Japanese restaurant, I had best sushi. If you want to experience Japanese food, take a moment and pass by this place.. You will be amazed with what you can experience
Have been several times to this place and not once disappointed.Service is polite, ambiance a bit cold and simple in the right side section. Left side with the Teppanyaki... Action Pure.Food is excellent. Try the green papaya salad... Love it. Teppanyaki is like everywhere fun and enjoyable and the Chefs to a great job.Another of my favorites is the sashimi. Honestly I love the freshness of local fish prepared lovely. The Squid... It waters my mouth of thinking of it...For me one of the most enjoyable restaurants in the Peninsula.
Quite good, fairly fast and not too crowded even on Saturday evening. I had the kimchi soup, which was spicy as I expected. They have a very large menu of Japanese, Korean and even Thai. It is a tad pricey but not bad for Masaki. Nice and clean bathrooms.
Not authentic, overpriced and gimmicky. We ate here and were very disappointed with the place. The staff are kind, and people looked to be enjoying the Tepanyaki. But the sushi is extremely expensive, the rice is not consistent among rolls (watery and far too thick). The rolls we ordered were nothing like what they are meant to be. The ramen was bland, under-seasoned, with the egg cold in the middle, and the ramen noodles overcooked (and more like egg noodles than ramen). Overall, a very expensive and underwhelming dinner.
1.Suggest to order Korean food ,the Japanese food here is quite normal even a little not tasty2. we order Chichen don but it come with pork don3. The Japanese fried chicken is not delicious ,not Japanese style4.In conclusion ,please order Korean food here請點這裡的韓國菜,不要點日本菜
Food excellent. Pricey. Service reasonable. Tepinyaki is excellent but they have a minimum order rule which is a bit frustrating if you want to order some variety or starters.
Outdoorsy vibe. Airy. Not too many folks. Quick service. Delicious food. Tabletop cooking can get a little loud (and fiery), and it is a bit overpriced - even for Masaki, but a lovely night out for groups so bring a friend or two.
It was amazing. Well some food was raw but it was tender and entertaining because of the cooking that happened in front of you. It was delightful and delicious and the tricks they did were incredible. We really had a good time. I reccomened it to people from anywhere. Just make sure its cooked al the way but it is a beautiful place.Good luck Seoul Garden.Kind regards,Mannolano family
Authentic Japanese cousine, the only restaurant in dar es Salam that does tapanyaki. Service is fast and friendly staff. Food is on the expensive side but worth the experience. The tapanyaki is done on the outside while there is inside AC sitting.#japanese #tapanyaki #goodfood #romantic
At Seoul Garden restaurant in Dar es Salaam, you get to witness chefs artistry as they cook your delicious dish in front of you and your friends. There is wild flames on their stoves, food making always is spectacular to watch. Super place to go on a spontaneous date.
Amazing food and excellent customer service. The place is very comfortable too.
Nice fresh food! Great mix of korean, Japanese and Thai!
Went for a meal and got a great show as well. The wait staff is courteous and very flexible (read to deal with random demands). We went with kids and Id say this is a child friendly restaurant as well
A fun place to go in a group for Teppanyaki - sit around an iron plate, pick a beef, seafood and chicken dish, sit back and let the exceptionally enthusiastic chef delight you with his playful (and highly skillfultricks and humour. It’s a little on the expensive side but the food is delicious and you can’t beat the entertainment value to this experience.
Great Chef... You get to see the food prepared, PERFECT for a social gathering. The ambiance and setup is amazing... The food is a bit expensive but totally worth it.. Great service as well...
Better Japanese you can enjoy.
It’s the best Japanese food and Korean food restaurant I’ve ever tried. Thanks for the tasty food. The whole restaurant is very clean and service is pretty good.
Lovely place for dinner. I loved the sushi and wine. It is more of the $$. But a fine place to wine and dine. Good for family, friends and/or couples. I will so be back.
The decor and ambience is authentic Japanese. The food presentation is done by genuine Japanese chefs👌🏼👌🏼
A nice oriental restaurant which has a live kitchen in some seating areas. It is a joy to watch your food being cooked right in front of you and the chefs perform a few tricks during the cooking. The food is great and i would recommend going there.
The Osaka Restaurant is a delight to be at. We had a lazy Sunday afternoon there. The decor outside was good. The table was dusty. This is normal for an outdoor table. The staff was courteous and fast in the services. The sea food was good. The Sushi was very good. The beer was chilled. Only down side was that the quantities of food, in various dishes, could have been more.
