Šenkovna Fine Wine Pub - Wine bar in Prague, Czech Republic
Delicious food and wine! The place is nicely decorated, the dim lighting is comforting, cosy and relaxing. The service was very good!A night well spent, chatting with friends :)(And due to all this, I actually forgot to take photos...)
Great wine, delicious food, friendly staff. I often return here with friends.
great food, super long opening hours 🎉
It is a great place to have a typical Czech wine cup with good food. There is a nice and romantic rooftop.
Delicious food, great prices!
Best place for Czech wine, best place for Czech food. Great atmosphere. Great staff
Very cool place. There is a nice winery in the cellar. Super nice service
Fantastic wine. No matter whether you try dry or sweet. You will mostly likely find a great one
Most arogant service I have ever experienced
Good people. Good drink. Good prices. Recommend.
Nice environment, good service and wine. The only downside is that its pretty noisy, but manageable
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent selection of local and foreign wines. Highly recommend to reserve a table even on the weekdays
They offer delivery, but when you order they just cancel it no explanation.
Great staff, some even speak English. Extremely helpful and engaging. I’ve been there a few times now but recently had a big group of 20 people on their back terrace and the service was superb. Would recommend big groups there.
Good atmosphere, enough space so you do not feel that everything is crammed to maximize capacity (which is often in Prague center), great and friendly staff and broad wine selection. Also, if you want to have a good dinner, there is a good joice of nice meals from small ones, to large ones.
Amazing ambience, wonderful and knowledgeable staff. Unbelievably good prices. Recommend to everyone. Definitely worth a visit.
I enjoyed it, food and drink are in great quality, friendly and good service.I recommend visit this nice place.
Wide selection of very good wines in all price cathegories. We tried argentinian Catalpa Malbec 2018, Carmenere Reserva 2018 from Chile and Modre Hory Frankovka 2017 and all of them were really amazing. Plus the food, again wide selection of tapas platters, salads and main courses, all perfect. Definitely recommended!
Didn’t really like atmosphere, a little boring, but loved the terrace in the second floor.
Wine good but staff had no idea about it, food ok-ish, but nothing you would return for or recommend, atmosphere (and the room as wella bit cold.
Great food and wine selection. The spatial disposition is very interesting. The one star down from full score is for the noise - too many people want to fit in. 😄
An OK place, great cuisine and fair prices for both food and drinks, terrible acoustic inside, (especially on the main floor).
Well never again staff so rude unreal went in for a drink with my husband to be told you stand at the bar if you want a drink i asked why and was told your english so you do not sit in this bar the staff just stood and laught at us both and all the tables were booked but the tables were not it was empty the staff need to lean how to talk to people in a nice manner not like animals if there not happy in there job they need to leave or get sacked
Staff unfriendly unhelpful and basically rude. Went in on our first night for a couple of beers were told in a rude manner to stand at the bar as all empty tables were booked.Wouldnt recommend going in here staff need training on how to treat customers.
Great wine, good cheese, knowledgable and kind service. Would totally recommend for a date or just nice night out.
Interesting place. Very good wines, meal and services for fair prices in the near of city center. I was surprised and satisfied.
Food was amazing friendly waiters drinks were amazing was my first time eating boar it was very very good.... they have good good good selection of wine I was very pleased with the different types of wine... excellent for a nice special occasion... If you visiting Prague and want to celebrate a nice date...try this place very nice
A very cozy place with friendly staff and home-y atmosphere. A round table allowed all 8 of us to be close to each other while still having our space. The rosé I had ordered was the best wine I’ve ever drank, and for an affordable price. Me and my friend split some ribs, also delicious. A very good price-quality ratio.
People looked confused, was asking about Moravian wine tasting, offered first bag in box...the wine was brought warm 18-20...
the owner is a very enthusiastic person and a major wine aficionado in personal touch with his supliers, great atmosphere and very tasty foods to go with the brilliant wine
Had the spaghetti with salmon which was excellent and a semi sweet chardonnay and red cuvee. It was excellent. Would go back again. Ask to make sure that you are in the no smoking cellar.
Great wine, great food, cozy environment and friendly service. I cant really say anything against.
Nice location and very cozy space. The only thing I really did not like was people allowed to smoke when we were siting on the heated winter terrace as it was not opened terrace but the sides were protected by plastic screens so basically like sitting inside with smokers. I am pretty sure that in the summer while uncovered it is super fine but this time we did not enjoy eating our dinner with couple of guys smoking almost next to us. Other than that I would visit the place again.
We had booked a table for four. At arrival the response was that they could give us their last table and the impression was that our booking did not exist. We got a table and 5 minutes later we where asked to move to another table. At the new table we found out that the locals had another menu with much lower prices. Of course we left.
Great wine. Had Primitivo and Malbec. The Kulajda soup was also delicious.
American Traveler. Eat here. It was locals from what I could hear. The food was amazing. All 3 plates were superb in our group. The chicken breast dish, the pork tenderloin dish and the pork steak dish. Staff speaks solid English and were very friendly.
If you get place in back its great, but if you get one in front...well good luck, noise from street is loud af!! And they even open doors and cant close them because of "fresh air"
I visit several times a month and I never had a bad experience. Great informed service, very reasonable prices and large selection of wine. Highly recommended.
Great food, wine, beer and spirits. I recommend to reserve as it is very busy here.
Nice relaxed atmosphere. Reasonably priced wines by the bottle and glass. Waiter will come to the table and explain the background of the wine. An assortment of food made to order with meat and cheese platters available to accompany the selection of wines offered.
Wondered in to have a look and have a drink. To check out what the place was all about and was not treated as we would have liked to. Had our drink and left and had a great meal nearby in another restaurant.
Wine connoseurs alert, avoid this place! The food was ok. But this one is a disaster for a wine place. Gloomy lighting, no aircon,...You will love this place if you do not know anything about wine and want to get wasted cheaply. They are not afraid to offer you a faulty or very cheap bulk wine. Let the headache begin!
Delicious food. Good beer. From what my friends said the wine was also excellent but I dont drink wine myself. The pork knee was amazing a traditional Czech dinner. Cozy seating down in a old cellar. Had a great time I recommend this place to anyone looking for a dinner and drink.
Found by good luck - very friendly staff and great food. I had a very tender rustic pork steak with garlic wedges, roast onions and a fried egg! The pork loin in port sauce was scrummy. Pancakes with warm blueberries and creme fraiche finished it off. Good value too. Has extensive wine menu.
Very good place with a good wine offer! Usually very crowded because this pub is very popular. Also comfortable ambient!
In this beerocentric land I found this place next to the road near IP Pavlova. Inspiring. I need to get back to this lovely venue.
very good wine, nontheless it was a bit too expensive, especially for the unattentive service; the non-smoking area could have been better isolated
Great wine, low prices, friendly service, decent pub food - what more could you want? Smoking and non-smoking sections. Gets bit hot down there though.
Excellent place for lunch and a good glass of wine. Large non smoking area, helpful staff, good dishes, and a long list of wine by the glass.
Great food, excellent wine, very nice people. The main room may get a little noisy, otherwise a perfect experience.
