I usually have a nice experience visiting your store. My last visit wasnt as pleasant. I was in your deli hoping to order chicken salad and the two young men working were too busy playing around to help. After awhile the manager noticed and asked one of them to help. That alone I could ignore. When I went to the front to check out the young man there didnt greet me and almost seemed like he had an attitude. The worst part was him picking his nose and then touching my items. I was grossed out and wiped my items down later but what most disturbed me was how the quality of customer service at your store seems to be changing. I have noticed it for awhile but today was the worst experience. Please teach your employees appropriate customer service and common manners.

The prices were way better here than I thought. Their sales still provide some good deals too. Granted, it’s pricier generally, but you’ll find some unique and smaller brands here vs other big chains.

Pleasant first time in Sendiks. Very nice man giving samples of brats. Pleasant bakery employee. Yummy carrot cake slice. Im in trouble...lol

I want to love Sendiks but I cant. Prices are way too high. Besides buying special meats, desserts or $10 party dips, basic every day shopping here is not cost effective. Sorry, it works for the last minute party food grab but not the frequent shopper.

Small, intimate grocery store. Its a little pricey compared to others, ie: pick-n-save but the service supercedes all others.

Good quality items if you know that youre going to be paying a lot.

Smaller than most Sendiks. Narrow aisles sometimes makes it difficult to maneuver through the aisles.

It seems everything was put out with care, produce - everything was fresh.. It made want to make a big salad, meat development - you just wanted 1 of everything. Sendiks good job.. You should be proud of yourself and your employees.

Sendiks carries great produce selections and features grocery items other stores dont stock. Their prices are a bit higher but the quality is consistent.

My favorite Milwaukee grocery stores. Everything is quality, very beautiful fresh produce plus gifts, plants and flowers.

Quality products, professional staff, great variety - overall a nice neighborhood store. They also have the seafood and meat section. They even cut the meat and chicken based on our personal preferences. Want to go green and support the planet, choose their paper bag option instead of plastic. Vegetables and fruits are fresh and I have found some good and tasty grapes and apples here.

Excellent custom butcher cuts. 8oz custom cuts, perfect on the Weber grill along with sauteed mushrooms. Great for Thanksgiving.

Good wine assortment. I went for the Rye rolls, delicious. I picked up other necessities for Thanksgiving and was on my way.

I went to pickup some Fillet Mignon. They perfectly cut them to 8oz each. The steaks grilled up perfectly for Thanksgiving. Superior cuts of meat in my neighborhood. Cant go wrong with that

Absolutely love this place. Food is always fresh. Meat and veggies. I wanna be nice so I wont say anything about the customers acting real snooty.. 🤣. but.... I speak anyway.... the staff at the North Ave location are really exceptional. They actually will stop what they are doing and walk you to the aisle that youre looking for. They will even put your name on a list and call you when an item you want is in. And I love the diversity. Gives you that hometown feel.

Thank you to the lovely floral department! We had our small wedding in September and although the Sendiks arrangements are BEAUTIFUL I wanted to put together my own. I didnt need a ton of flowers. Online stores a lot of minimums were too much or some florists seemed to have a hard time even getting white ranunculus, eucalyptus etc. I went to Sendiks the week before and they were able to call suppliers and give me pricing. The staff was so nice and followed up with me very well. A few items they could not get due to seasonal weather but substituted with other pretty options for me. My flowers turned out beautifully and customer service was great!

This store has an old school feel with all the modern conveniences. A one stop get all. Liquor, Gifts, Bakery, Deli... You call it.

Sendiks has great quality. I never have a question about that. Even down to their bags. Not something you worry about breaking and your items going flying down on the ground. I love stopping at this particular location. Its like stepping into a grocery store from the past. The location is much smaller than most, the isles are narrower, I think the carts are even smaller. It gives you a small town charm even though you are still in the middle of the city!

Sendiks Food Market Wauwatosa is something of a retro market. The aisles are very cramped to allow cramming in the most number of SKUs. This does provide good selection at the price of difficulty navigating the aisles. The staff was particularly snotty during the height of the Covid sequestration and would not allow me to bag my own groceries. That being said, they do offer nice fundraisers for local charities, cooking burgers and brats for sale.

Sendiks is a pretty boujee grocery store here in Tosa. It’s really nice on the inside and supports a lot of local businesses. It has its own meat and bakery counters, both of which are really nice. The only gripe is the cost, as everything in Sendiks is pretty pricy tbh. Overall, it’s a food store.

Ive been shopping at Sendiks for years but just recently started coming back to this location. They have a decent selection, fresh fruit, their fish fry is delicious and a good value for the price. Staff has always been courteous and helpful. My cashier today, Jack, carried on a conversation instead of just saying "hi" and "paper or plastic". Will definitely continue shopping at this location.

This store has great customer service!!! Employees are also always available!!! No matter which aisle you turn down, department switch you take (granted it is a smaller store 👍😍 still, they have managers circulating and always, an employee available to assist in finding an item!! I also like how fast they check you out, they have the best ice, wonderful guacamole 🥑 and THE BEST WINE 🍷 SALES!!!

Sendiks is quality of quantity, and the quality is worth the extra penny. Sendiks has friendly and helpful service, and is quick and easy. What most people take for granted in the heart of city, is a staple in the day of the healthy Wauwatosa family.

I only come here on Monday’s when the Amish rotisserie chicken is on sale for $5. It’s delicious and I buy sides to go with it. I really enjoy that as a dinner. I’m giving 4 stars because I usually encounter at least 1 rude worker during each and every visit. It is also a little more expensive, but the store is clean and the ambience is nice.

GREAT meat selection! And the cheese aisle(s- you have my heart. Produce is awesome! I have always loved the floral selections AND the gift area - spectacular. Great place to go for plants, flowers, and certainly Christmas/holiday decorations. Something unique is always to be found at the Tosa Sendiks!

Always a nice store. Good people working there. Prices are inching up Ive noticed, but still a great place to shop. Ps. Unless you have pets and cats in particular. The store isnt huge and obviously shelf space is at a maximum. So sorry kitty.

Typical Sendiks high quality products in a smaller, neighborhood setting. Obviously very well frequented. Unfortunately, the building is clearly aged and in need of maintenance (waste bin under roof leakand maybe a little refurbishment (carpet squares worn, stained and taped together). Staff attentive and personable - Sendiks typical 5 star service.

I give this Sendiks 4 1/2 stars. The meat department is the absolute BEST!!!! I have made custom request on specialty cut steaks and Nate has always cheerfully accepted and delivered the best meat products. If I pick up hamburger it is red and fresh all the way thru... unlike a Sendiks on the east side that wraps older meat with fresh looking meat. The only knock is the produce department has over ripe produce. The bakery, wine, and soups are top notch. Comfortable small grocery store feel and nice folks work there. Yes, you pay a little more .... but nice to support something other than the large chain mega stores.

I love the idea of fast and friendly customer service that you get; I also love that I can use their app to place an order for groceries online and have them waiting for pickup when I drive up. They have wonderful store personnel that pick out just the right items for you when you place an order. I think Sendiks is great and If there is a Sendiks near you you should give them a try.

Its alot like the other Sendiks, only smaller....Great atmosphere, quality products, mature and competent service. Its obvious that alot of care and planning goes into each department to make Your shopping experience adult, and rewarding...I never question the quality of anything. Ive no need. Ive never felt short changed, and always confident Ive spent my money wisely....Please thumbs up if you like this review...

Wow!! Gteat place to shop for very fresh produce, meats & seafoods. In addition, there is a nice selection of wine, cheeses & fresh dairy. The flower & gift shop is an added treat with unique arrangements & specialty items.

This grocery store is somewhat expensive, but they have wonderful produce and many of their house brands are excellent. Their little housewares area has interesting, high quality items.The people who work there are all very helpful.

They have expanded rather nicely. Got a rotisserie chicken- it was better than almost every one Ive ever had (And i buy them often). Shelves seemed too loaded, atmosphere was not for me but maybe it is for you. Definitely worth a visit

The fruits and vegetables are so fresh you would think the garden is in the back yard. Wonderful meat selection and quality. A good wine selection. Impeccably clean. And a good General grocery store as well. Prices are moderate but the quality is exceptional.

I get a lot of bad food here, Ive gone there for years, I always manage to come home with something spoiled or something wrong on my receipt and its very frustrating. Also the people in the deli are very careless they throw the cheeses and meats around when they go on the weight machine or scale and Ive noticed they touch everything even though they have gloves on they theyre not selective and what they touch. They touch the doors on the refrigerator hauling out the cheese is in the meats then touching the scale and slicing the product with the same gloves on all the time and they slap it on the scale and throw it on the top of the counter for you its just sickening sometimes and it never changes. In the bakery department Ive had the experience of a new guy, asking to have a tissue on my sweet treats, and the guy takes and holds the turnovers up against his filthy apron well he grabs a tissue and then wraps the tissue around the turnip while its laying on his apron. I said do you really think Im going to buy that and eat it Ive had so many bad experiences but I like the store because its little and I have walking issues, and I know where everything is. But the people can be vicious they can also be nice depending who youre dealing with but I had a real bad problem and no one knew the answer not even the manager and I said to you guys really know what youre doing here because the manager looks to these other people and says what is this what is that how do I do this how do I do that and I turned around and I said to her do you know what youre doing because you certainly dont sound like you do. She ended up making a huge mistake on my order and then gave me a $5 gift card for the inconvenience and I thought the amount of money Ive spent on bad food here will supersede $5 any day of the week. And the ladies in the floral are just total snobs. And when there are sale items they take in horde them for themselves. So its not the most Pleasant place to go and always keeping in mind you might just get bad food. Just telling you my experiences. Thank you for reading, you might be glad to know.

This quickly became our grocer of choice when we moved here. They stock dairy free products I use, and I enjoy their bakery. My husband loves their alcohol and beer selection and their butcher counter. Employees have always been helpful and friendly.
