One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. Super delicious soups. Good service.

Seemed off tonight. Egg noodles were clumped and doughy which the broth could not revive. Vermicelli dish’s bbq pork and egg rolls were nearly 1/2 of usual portions. Hope this is one off…

Love this place. Very celiac safe, my wife appreciated that. Loved my strawberry bubble tea. So smooth and tasty. Rice wrappers were out of this world. Service is incredible. Have yet to have a bad experience here. Highly recommend it.

Updated!Tried it again last night, it was back to excellent!We had the shrimp salad rolls and they were extremely fresh. Also tried a sub and it was also perfect. When we went to pick up our order the dinning room was packed, good to see they are doing well. I understand that everyone has an off night, thanks for the great meal.Not Fresh at all!We ordered #3 shrimp, salad rolls and they were like shoe leather. We didnt even eat them. I have no idea when they were made but they absolutely should no have been served! We also had #17, shrimp vermicelli bowl. Again, the shrimp were dry, old and didnt get eaten. We also had #23, satay chicken and beef vermicelli. This was pretty excellent, but not worth the 40 for the food that shouldnt have been sent out the door. I would have definitely sent the 2 dishes back if I was eating in the dining room.Hopefully it was an off night! Hard to recommend a place when there are so many other options close by.

Best pho ever! I always get the spicy peanut beef pho and the flavour is UNREAL and everyone is always friendly.

1st time went when they just opened, I was not impressed. 2nd visit after years to give it a 2nd try, big big improvement. So delicious this time, and super accommodating staff. Will definitely come back for more. Thanks.

ordered sate beef noodle with peanuts. Taste like curry. Not Sate flavour. Beef is fully cooked.( i prefer rare beefi know this restaurant running so long, and lots of regular customer. Lets try another pho or sub next time.

Wow! I can’t believe I found this Vietnamese restaurant with gluten-free spring rolls and subs. The bun was really good and came in a huge bowl. Definitely going to go back again!

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants Ive gone to in Calgary. The price is very reasonable and the amount of food they give is much larger than other Vietnamese restaurants around here

First time eating here today, absolutely delicious food and great portion sizes!

We had the vermicelli and the lemongrass chicken was absolutely delicious. It comes with a lot of noodles and I felt like I needed a little extra sauce.We also had the coconut bubble tea and it was a hit!

THE FOOD IS AMAZING.BEST Vietnamese food I have ever had.Great with allergies!Food came within 5 minutes, fresh and hot. Service is very friendly and nice. Just make sure if you are changing anything in the menu for allergies that you communicate well, as it’s hard for them to understand sometimes as there is a language barrier.

First time here I had the spicy pho he said it was very popular and I can see why it was absolutely amazing. The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious and the prices are also good for the quality. I would ask for double bean sprouts if I was going to come back. I don’t know if they would charge me for it.

Solid variety, quick and flavourful. Very generous portions and priced well. Nothing new or outstanding, quality is solid but not above expected of similar restaurants. Very clean, great and kind staff.

Service is great here and staff is friendly. Much better than the last place that was in this area which was far from good Vietnamese food. The food is very delicious and good options.

We made reservations to celebrate our Mothers Birthday on July 10th as she had wanted to have Vietnamese cuisine for her special occasion. We had never never been to Sen before but our friends had and they highly recommended that we go and we are so happy that we did. We had a party of 10 people and everyone were absolutely ecstatic with the delicious food that arrived from Goi Coun, to Sweet Lemon Grass chicken Bun, to Pho Satay, to Banh Mi, and so on and on. The portions were large and the price was reasonable. Sen Vietnamese Restaurant is a Gem and we will be back for more of their absolutely delicious Vietnamese food. Kudos to everyone at the restaurant👍👍😉

The customer service and food are both so so good! The server chatted with us and gave us great recommendations for food that we would like. We also had an allergy at the table and they were awesome about it. Such friendly staff.

Every time I come here they are so amazing the food portions are really good and definitely worth it! The gluten free option are amazing and the have gluten free subs, which isn’t always easy to find. I definitely recommend coming here!

Havent even left the restaurant yet and felt compelled to leave a glowing review! We tried a few different soups, chicken satay, chicken curry and my 10 year old had the chicken noodle. A+ all the way around!Great portion size, wonderful service and amazing flavors.My daughter even tried the spring rolls and Loved them! We will most definitely be back again soon.

Hands down thee best place for gluten free Vietnamese!! 🙌 Portions are big too. Worth the drive from Airdrie.

Very good quality pho definitely recommend trying if you live in this area. It has a great uniqueness to their broth.

Vietnamese restaurant off 130 Avenue in Calgary. Four of us ate lunch and we all agreed it was delish. And Id been there several times before and it was always a treat.

Finding gluten free food on the road can be a challenge, especially if you want something a bit different than the usual offerings and palates. As a celiac the experience was top notch. The service was very efficient, the flavours great. The gluten free sub was a very nice option to have, though the bun (I think its the long Care brand sandwich bundid fall apart a bit. Not the restaurants fault, this happens with a nice juicy filling on any gluten free bun. Will definitely want to visit again when going through Calgary!

Amazing food and service, so many delicious options and the majority of items on the menu can be made gluten free. My wife is celiac and has never had a reaction after eating here. 100% recommend to anyone, especially gluten free or gluten sensitive.

My wife, daughter and I went to eat lunch there today. We read all the great reviews and had to try it ourselves. We definitely were not disappointed. We ordered 4 different dishes and one of them being #39 soup. Best soup I have had for many years!! We will definitely be going back for more.

I love this place. The welcome is always warm. The food is always good. Its always fast.Located in a strip mall on 130 Ave they serve traditional Vietnamese dishes like pho noodle soup and banh mi for sit down or take out. The shrimp salad rolls are also a favorite served with plenty of dipping sauce.They are a family run restaurant, welcoming their regulars by name as they come in.Definately my favorite place in the city for rare beef and beef ball soup.

Staff ( or I think he might be the owneris very nice and accommodated. Good value for money and the peanut broth is very tasty. If you are not keen on noodles much, just ask for less noodle and they will five you more of something else 🙂

The peanut satay is amazing (seafood or otherwise. Try the grilled beef satay if you are looking for something different and delicious), along with the meat lovers vermicelli bowl. So flavourful. Plus it feels nice going to a place that recognizes you when you walk in.

Friendly service, great staff. Did a pick up order the gentleman was very kind and friendly. Food was ready on time and tasted amazing. We had the spring rolls and #52 Spicy curry soup which was seriously delicious. The depth of the broth was a whole new level.

The best Vietnamese Sub we have had after a very long time. Very fresh, from the freshly baked Bun to the every piece of veggie...... Not too spicy and not too mild. Made to perfection.....Simple but Excellent presentation..... Then we followed with Stir-fried Spicy Satay Seafood & Vegetables on White rice. It was quite a bit. Potion sizes are quite reasonably sized.... Excellent service.... complement to Mr Vinh and the Staff for memorable experience...

We ordered shrimp salad rolls, springs rolls, chicken stir fry with crispy noodles, and special beef noodle soup. All came out fresh and hot, and well within the first 10 minutes of placing our order. Their staff are friendly, and often checked up on us.I like how they advertise that one of the ingredients in the special beef noodle soup is beef balls, and you actually get more than one. A lot of restaurants claim to have beef balls in their soup, but in fact they just give you a few beef ball slices.we will definitely come back.

I shared the beef salad rolls and had satay chicken on rice and it was all very delicious. It was so much food I had plenty for lunch the next day too. The staff was exceedingly friendly and attentive. The food came promptly, as did the drinks. The place was very well set up for COVID restrictions. Panels between all the tables hand sanitizing stations available. Highly recommend!!

This has become our favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the area, the food is outstanding and the portions are huge. The spring rolls are some of the best Ive had. The lunch special is $12.95 and includes a shrimp salad roll and a drink which we always have green tea. The service is incredibly friendly and I love supporting small mom and pop shops like this, you will leave very happy here and full.Its kind of tucked away around the back of the southwest corner of 130th just across from Tims. The restaurant is very clean and social distancing is being followed, and the bathroom was also perfectly clean today just like always.

I met up with my out-of-town friend here for convenience. A lot of places nearby are closed on a Monday. The portions were very generous, but the food was not exceptional. If you are not familiar with the Viet cuisine, it is ok to eat, but if you are from an Asian household and are used to Moms cooking, this is probably not the place for you. I really wish I could give this place a higher rating since the presentation looks authentic and the service friendly.

Popped in here on Saturday for a late lunch. I was really happy with what I found. The staff were fantastic, very attentive and helpful. The menu was expansive without being overwhelming. The food was fantastic. Portions were large and the best part was that the vegetables were really fresh and the vermicelli noodles were not sticky. I only realized when I was paying the bill that Sen is the sister restaurant of Van Son. When I am in the south again I will definitely head back

Good service fast food but being fast they missed st giving me a clean glass for my beer. Sometimes a moment looking at glasses cutler etc before you give it is best

Some of the best Vietnamese you can get in the area. Portions are quite large and the quality of the food is fantastic. Its not a huge restaurant with about a dozen tables, so it can get busy. The service is friendly and fast. Love this place.

My favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Calgary!! They have the best bún I have found as someone with Celiac disease. Their gluten free spring rolls are incredible, and their GF sauces are all so delicious as well! Its a really nice little restaurant in 130th shopping centre, but I usually do takeout which is always really fast. Nearly the entire menu is dairy free as well, just ask your server beforehand. They are so careful with allergiesI absolutely love this place!!! Thank you Sen!!!-Celiac Steve

In one word..... Amazing.The best Vietnamese food I have ever had. The staff was nice and friendly. Huge gluten free menu for people with celiac like me. Definitely my go to place from now on.

Im blown away by the taste of the food. I tried the pork and vegetarian spring rolls and they are fantastic. For the main I had the Ultimate Vemicelli XL Bowl and was very tasty and fresh. The exotic sodas and the Deep Fried Banana with Ice cream are also fantastic.
