Excellent food. Most friendly service!

Just went in for an iced coffee and sweet treat. Got the maple nut cookie and did not like it. Iced coffee wouldve been good except they only had that stupid lil creamers and not regular half and half. Small complaints, I know. I will say that the service was outstanding!!! The gentleman that helped me happily gave me a different cookie with no questions asked. He suggested theyre salted caramel sandwich cookie and that was amazing!

Good food and really good pizza but more expensive than I would like. Its a must try and a Sacramento classic with a great catering service

Stopped here during a work trip. Scrumptious for the tastebuds and a visual feast for the eyes! Absolutely delicious, three cold salads for $14.25. You can bet Ill be back to try more next visit to town. You wont be disappointed.

Each dish was delicious, obviously prepared in a healthy manner. All employees were professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

I have been to 3 of the sellands restaurants and just love each time. Food choices are always good with unique offerings yet you can usually always find your favorites ...mine is the meatloaf..best ever..light and airy...and deserts are amazing! Great for casual meal and to go orders.

Was a really interesting place with all the desert options and food choices. I cam here with my mom and got the pasta special. It came with a salad but both of us thought the dressing was to sour.

Best Margherita pizza, ever. Tons of amazing good and good value. I love the outdoor seating.

This restaurant is always consistently fresh and delicious. My favorite is the Cowgirl grilled cheese with tomatoe basil soup. If u have not tried this place, you are in for a treat!

Great place, great selection of food. I had the oven pizza and that was definitely a must, we try the beets salad and you can tell by the crunchiness it was made from scratch. They are Pet Friendly.

Im probably biased as I love every venture the Sellands Family puts out. I can never get enough of the original cafe/market restaurant. You cant go wrong, they have something gor every one.

Sellands is always my go-to place when in East Sac. Staff is always friendly, polite, and efficient. The food is great & desserts are excellent! Can get crowded, so come early. Always a great experience.

The staff were nice and the food was pretty good and flavorful. I got the Moroccan chicken burger. Its in a nice area but parking kind of sucks..

Sellands is always a go-to for an enjoyable meal. Excellent sandwiches, pizza, and sangria. Keep an eye out for their weekly specials for 2 that comes with a bottle of wine for $25.

A rarity in that they undoubtedly taste their food before they serve it. True farm to fork! But, the difference is that this place, & the other Sellands Market Cafes are casual, where you order up front & they bring your food whether youre eating there or ordered take-out. Dont miss the $29 Dinner for Two with a bottle of wine weekly special, & the Monthly Specials. Great bargains!

Usually have terrific service. Tonight, we ordered dine in. Big mistake. Took an hour to get our food. Spaghetti arrived cold. Pizza arrived 10 minutes later. Burned. What a waste of time if you arent ordering take out.

The place has expanded since the last time we been here, about two years ago. The food is very good. We had a nice meal with fish., chicken, and spaghetti.

Indoor and outdoor dining available. Luncheonette style food; sandwiches ranging from blta to meatloaf, pizza, salads and a wide variety of bottled and canned drinks. The staff was pleasant, the food was good and no matter what Im in the mood for I always seemed to find something on the menu for me. A nice lunch for the "what do YOU want to eat" kinda days.

We ate outside on a large deck area with warmers. The food was great and seating was available. There were numerous tables that were dirty so it limited seating n thats the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

They are very accommodating to large (last minuteorders. The servers who bring the food out to your car are so polite. Good food, good service what else can you ask for?

I came here with family before walking the Fab 40 lights.Its a nice place with outdoor and indoor dining. I have never been before but my niece has been many times.Nit knowing what to order...she told me the pizza was really good so I shared one with my mom.We ordered the combination pizza....it comes with tomato coulis, mozzarella, salami, pepperoni, sausage, red onion,mushroom, green bell pepper, black olives, I ordered with no bell peppers which was over 21.00 after tax...and if you want ranch...they charge you 1.00 for a tiny little ranch...so I brought my own to share with the table. Thats ridiculously over priced. You spend 20 bucks on a pizza and cant even get a little ranch...The pizza was just okay. Personally...I love dominos and way cheaper.My niece had the chicken pizza and loved it. Thats what she orders each time.My other niece ordered the FARMER’S MARKET $13.95 saladmixed greens, avocado, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, carrot, radish, green onion, dill, nut and seed mix, choice of dressing. She liked it...but very pricey for a salad.Overall...my family liked the place. I would not come back on my own. I have liked other places better.

Mom wanted mashed potatoes and gravy, this is the spot if your in Sacramento!Its like going to the fridge of a chef and fixing a place if what you want.Its seasonal and on point!This was my 1st experience eating there, but I understand why the locals love tgus place.I hear the have a dinner for 2 that co.es with wine special under $30 & this is gourmet food folks!

I have rarely been so disappointed. I ordered a plain cheese pizza and added sausage and black olives. I ordered the thin and crispy crust option. The pizza arrived and it looked burnt. The crust was not crispy, but resembled hard tack. You could hardly bite through it. You could not taste the cheese or the tomato sauce. We paid almost $90 for two pizzas, two salads, a desert and delivery plus tip.

Go fir the burgers and truffle fries, stay for the desert and sangria or wine. I recommend ordering the desert at the same time as your dinner. Otherwise, you will may need to order the desert online. I enjoyed ba salmon burger, sangria, and a high hat cupcake. Be aware parking at the east side location is limited. Enjoy

It’s been awhile since I’ve visited here but the meatloaf sandwich was as delicious as I remembered and they added fries to the menu! I will definitely be back again soon. They added a lot of patio area seating that is awesome to have that extra space.

We had the Spaghetti special on Sundays. The salad was so good, but they brought the Spaghetti at the same time and by the time we ate it, it was cool to cold. The flavor was really good though...Next time we will ask them wait awhile. The staff was really friendly though...

The food is pretty good, but not really anything special for the price, especially for takeout. It might be more worth it if you get the dine in experience. The vanilla lemonade didnt taste as much like vanilla as Id hoped, although it was pretty good. The lemon chicken was good - very juicy - but very simple, as was the zucchini I got on the side. I was a bit shocked that a side of zucchini, just a single serving, is $6. Seems like too much for such a small thing...The desserts were great though! We tried the strawberry custard and the chocolate peanut butter square, and both were delicious.Overall, I do like this place, but I wish the food was either cheaper or a bit more unique to justify the price. Id definitely go here for dessert though!

Food was delicious. It seemed like they make everything fresh that day, from their meats to their pastas. Their pizzas are cooked in a legit pizza oven which is awesome. Had the bacon cheeseburger and it was great tasting, great size, and a tasty side of fries.

First time here. Great experience. Sat outside, nice covered area. Spaced out comfortably. I didnt mind the pets, it was spaced the comfortably. Meal was great. Me and friend took advantage of their "two for" dinner. We had their polenta, asparagus, and pork WITH a dessert for less than $50 with tip! That also included a bottle of wine. Perfect date place too. It was a beautiful day, beautiful weather, great meal!

Great neighborhood market to get a quick bit! Sandwiches and burgers are great. Make sure you try the pastries! The also have great dinner take out options

I ordered pazole tonight and was very disappointed. Typically pazole is a soup base entree correct me if Im wrong but after I got home and opened the container it was literally just hominy and some shredded meat. By the time I was home they were closed so didnt even try to call back. I have been to Sellands many times and the food has never disappointed but I will never order this again.

Count me as a regular! Sellands food is reliably delicious, the atmosphere is friendly and informal, and they keep the prices in check. No wonder theyre so popular. Parking is at a premium, so it can help to get there a little before the peak dinner hour. UPDATE: Checkout their cool and shaded outdoor dining deck!

Great selection of sandwiches, salads, and other tasty bites. I love coming here to grab lunch to-go en route to East Portal Park for a picnic. Stop by if youre in East Sac - you wont be disappointed!

What a fabulous place! Ive heard so many good things about it and finally got to visit. Excellent food, outdoor patio dining, great wine and beer selection.The gluten free pizza is fantastic!

We came here with a party of four on a Friday night before the Epic Obstacle Course Race.You seat yourself and we found a table in the main dining area, but it was pretty busy, so I’d imagine it’s pretty difficult at peak times. Our hosts, natives of the city, were astounded and told us it was hardly ever that busy (classic them).We ordered at the counter and the price was very reasonable for two people and a dessert to split (and booze!)Lemon Chicken Breast-My wife and her high school friend both had this. The high school friend said that it was one of his favorite dishes, which just shows how much he’s grown, emotionally since graduation. Adulthood is loving lemon chicken for low it’s low carb, high protein ratio. He had it a la carte, splitting the large salad with his girlfriend. I didn’t hear any complaints about the quality from either of them and the bits I ate when they weren’t looking were delicious.Teriyaki Chicken Thigh-I chose this with a side of mashed potatoes and it was fantastic. It was lovely and juicy, with the bone in to preserve some of the flavor of the meat. The skin was slightly crisp and caramelized. It paired well with the mashed potatoes because of the great combination of salty and savory with creamy and buttery. And because anything potatoes is delicious.Asian Salad-My wife and I split this cold salad between us but I ended up eating most of it because that is my lot in life. It was similar to a Costco salad, with mandarin oranges and the sweet sesame dressing, but it had a great crunch from the purple and white cabbage.Mashed Potatoes-This is one of their more popular side dishes. It’s made from potatoes that have been “mashed”! Who knew?Broccoli-Pretty standard steamed broccoli. Inoffensive flavor and a kind-hearted, spiritually-satisfying portion.Goat Cheese and Apple Salad-The native Sacramentals ordered this and were generous enough to share an amount of it (it was massive). Lovely mix of sweet and savory. Definitely a great summer salad.Carrot Cake-While this cake was made with carrots, it does not have all the inherent health benefits one would expect. However, this is my wife’s favorite cake, so, inevitably, I ate most of it.Double Chocolate Cake-Twice the chocolate of a normal cake! What’s not to like?Overall, it was very cool experience and the staff was super helpful and patient with us, considering we made our choices and then completely threw them out when it was time to place our order. They gave great recommendations and, ultimately, helped us stop panicking and decide what to eat.

We absolutely love Sellands and have always had a great time there. Their food selection is excellent and everything we have and there is delicious. My favorite is their Eggs Florentine Pizza with added prosciutto from their brunch menu. I recommend this place for any time you want to dine in or takeout, but their brunch is phenomenal!

I really like this place. They have a good variety of tasty and healthy food. From the sandwiches (both cold and hotto the deli sides to the deserts, everything was fresh and well made. The carrot cake is a particular standout, however, at $6 a slice it seems a little on the high side, but it is worth it!

Amazing cafe food located near sac state. Good drinks and deserts. Usually a 2 person meal and bottle of wine promotion. Everything is very fresh and made well. Always a go to of your in the area.

Cafeteria style dining, small wine store selection. Good food, nice selections, and the weekly 2 for $25 dinner w wine is great.

GF bread was extremely dry and sandwiches were bland. Not sure if it was what I ordered or if it was an off day for them, but 2 stars (for good service and being very cleanuntil I try something from there that actually has taste.
