Awful Service. Ordered in the drive through, we got to the window and the lady had no idea what we ordered (2 smoothies and a Italian sodaand she had to ask several times with a terrible attitude, they forgot to ring in one of the drinks and they didn’t respond nice when I told them. Plus a very long wait time. First and last time to this place.

My lovely husband tried to get me a coffee in this place only to be mocked and humiliated by the person on the drive thru because of his English. He’s still learning and that’s not an excuse for anyone to bully and make fun of him. English is his second language, I bet this lady only speaks English. What a shame to have this kind of people serving customers, I wouldn’t recommend going there if English is not your first language, otherwise you would be laughed at your face and the lady would tell you that your English is poor while laughing at you. To be honest I would leave 0 stars if I could.

The staff here were so lovely despite being so overworked!! The cashier was simultaneously taking drive thru orders and taking orders inside AND making drinks! As someone who used to work for McDonalds, that is super unsustainable. But still giving 5 stars just because the drinks were delicious and the staff was super friendly.

Went here today for coffee. No one working would make eye contact with us as we stood as the cash so we left. Drive through was very important but not customers inside the store. Wont be back.

I was here yesterday and commented my server on the very nice service and even the feel of the café was comfortable.I find myself here again today. And the feeling is the same. I also enjoy how the staff interact with each other.

The 3 girls working at this location deserve the highest marks possible given the swamping of customers at their shop this afternoon - they were clearly overwhelmed. I had to wait 20 minutes for my London Fog which is a long time to be sure but having worked in the service industry in my youth I know how tough it can be to keep up with the orders especially when you are short a person or two. I was patient and thankful at their efforts and my order was well prepared and delicious. Thank you ladies!

I am not one to usually give a place a negative review and as someone who has worked in a coffee place before I understand that things can be chaotic. This place seemed like everyone was always running around with their heads cut off and could just hear the staff saying they can’t wait to leave also the drink was okay but wasn’t amazing. Don’t think I’ll be back.

First time going to a Second Cup. Wasn’t greeted upon going up to register to order, even though I was seen, stood there for about a minute before I was even acknowledged, then was told they would be with me shortly.Waited an unreasonable amount of time for my order. Latte was extremely extremely hot, I could feel it through the sleeve and wasn’t able to even drink it for 15 minutes and burned my tongue. Wasn’t impressed with it anyways and honestly I probably won’t bother returning.

Always great coffee. My favourite coffee shop chain and a Canadian company. Lots of tasty sweets available.Highly recommended!

Super-friendly staff! Had a yummy chai latte with oat milk and a huge peanut butter chocolate chip cookie while waiting for friends. Love that the chai tea is actually brewed, not a mix.

Apologies for sitting at a table for 3 hours as I worked away. The staff were friendly and courteous. The food and coffee was great.

Muffin was not fresh although staff was courteous wont return due to selling g stale food

I do not feel safe coming back to the Dartmouth Crossing location. There was a severe disregard for covid safety measures with far too many people in the establishment. Most businesses I have been to limit the amount of foot traffic into the store, however, the lineup at Second Cup stretched to the door and with such a small space, there was no room for any distancing. The service was slow and repeatedly messed up orders, however, this was probably an understaffing issue, considering there were three baristas working who were responsible for a massive lineup of people and the drive-thru window. It’s unfair to throw the staff under the bus for something that is clearly a managerial/company issue. My latte was very good when I did receive it, after a very long wait.

Friendly staff but place isnt very clean and seating is minimal and awkward.

Second cup has handled the whole back to normal well. The seating is distanced naturally and it looks great in there.

Spent ten minutes waiting for them to make my friend’s order, by which time I was disinterested in ordering at all. Almost every chair and all of the couches in the place desperately need steam cleaning from the stains and ground in crumbs. Something you don’t get time to notice unless you’re standing around bored for 10 minutes. Also the sticky floors are a turn off, and the staff act extremely busy if you ask them for anything, but then just sort of stand there vacantly doing nothing for a bit. Bathrooms are also in need of proper cleaning, and they mix all the drinks on the very sweet side. Just save your time and money, go to the Portland st. Location. It’s miles better.

Store was freezing. Workers were dissing head office and calling customers names as they were coming in and out. Customer service was okay. However the conditions of the store were unbearable as well as the extreme noise coming from the workers when there was no line up.

Was in a few days ago and had great service from the staff but couldnt stay in the store because they dont have the heat on despite the fact its been negative double digits for the past week. Terrible conditions for customers; I can only imagine how terrible it is for the staff who cannot leave and find somewhere that actually has heat.Will not be back.

A staple of my every day morning before work. Really Carrys me over the day some times. Better then most, no at pricey as some *cough*(sb)*cough*

Unfortunately I ordered a cinnamon bun and was given a muffin instead. While waiting in line to tell them the cashier took a customer that just walked in. They ordered the last cinnamon bun. When I finally got to tell her she just shrugged. Disappointing.

9/10 times I get an amazing coffee, just what I was looking for. When I dont, they always make it more than right. Always lovely baristas, calming atmosphere.

Overzealous use of AC no longer a problem: comfortable temperatures now ensured by just opening doors to allow airflow on warm days. Great staff at this location: friendly, good at making coffee, and adept at choosing interesting cafe-friendly music. Lots of electrical outlets make it a convenient place to chill and get work done, except that the internet randomly drops out for 10-20 seconds a few times an hour. Not a huge issue but coupled with the fact that you have to click a thing to reconnect every hour it gets pretty annoying.They have some tasty black bean wraps; although they are available in limited quantity, Ive never been told not to bring in food from the place next door. The other remaining issue with this place now is that the dishwasher has apparently been out of order for like 2 years so they serve everything in disposable cups.

Personally I find the quality of food/beverages to be much better than a Tim Hortons menu. Second Cup has always showed me excellent customer service at the many different outlets I have been to in the Maritimes.Recommended

Food & coffee great. There were no clean tables at the time. Lots open just none clean. Not a big deal, it was pretty busy at the counter. All in all. I always have a good experience at Second Cup.

Great double espresso wet machiattos here. I go so often most of the workers recognize me and know what I want! Friendly staff and good espresso.

Great coffee cocktails but everything is very sweet, so beware and maybe ask for light on the sugar.

The staff are generally friendly and the store is kept tidy and clean, but unfortunately the nice ladies at this location consistently deliver weak and watery lattes and cappuccinos.There is one barista working here that makes an excellent beverage but unfortunately I have not seen him in some time.
