Seaworld Seafood in Trenton

Out of all the steamed seafood places Ive been to so far, this one is the best with how much food they offer. Some places you pay for only the seafood and it doesnt come with any extras like broccoli or potatoes. I ordered the seafood platter and it was delicious. My only gripe is that sometimes its overcooked. Absolutely love the many options you can choose from. You can pair items together and then add extras if youd like. And the inside of the establishment smelled much better than the last time I went there which was pre-covid.

I went there to get a fish sandwich for my daughter. For the high price you pay, you get two bottom halves of fish between two pieces of bread. It was dry and not tasty at all. My daughter wanted it which is the only reason I got it and she had to pay me back because I couldnt justify paying over $10 for that...absolutely awful.

People think are u serious, the food was good when the uncle was there. I ordered the other day broccoli was hard not steamed right and there was hair in my food. This is Anthony Miller. Love the food. Whiting sandwich, clam strips and New Zealand mussels are my favorites. Special shout out to Alex, who I believe is a manager. I had ordered delivery and DoorDash dropped it off to the wrong place. Even though it was not SeaWorld Seafoods fault, he helped me to get my money refunded AND THEN VOLUNTEERED TO DRIVE A REPLACEMENT ORDER TO MY COMPLEX HIMSELF AFTER HE GOT OFF WORK. Cant beat that for courtesy. Love me some SeaWorld Seafood.

Parking was horrible but the customer service is and speed was amazing.

Since they have new people that took over they are fabulous they have someone by the name of Alex and someone by the name of Mia and they are great... Really friendly inviting a warm welcoming.... I never have any complaints about my food they make it fresh and to my liking🥰👍👍...

I ordered a salmon hoagie and it was very disappointing. Coming from South Jersey, salmon hoagies and salmon steaks are common. This salmon hoagie was seasoned at all. The flavor came moreso from the peppers and onions. It wasn’t really chopped, it was “chunked”.. the fries were greasy. Whatever vegetable platter my sister got was BEYOND greasy and drenched my bland salmon hoagie, so I couldn’t enjoy it even it if I tried. I don’t understand why the guy didn’t separate our orders anyway. You guys should put more effort into your customers food. This place is not where it’s at and the comments, if you ask me, are misleading. Won’t be going here again.

Bring your purse its worth every penny.

I took sea food platter (fries, whitening fillets and coleslaw). Foods were tasty. You can order different combination of seafoods in there. Prices are reasonable. No dine in. Only take out.

The seafood is always fresh and get take out all the time. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that. The one woman who works there isnt very nice. I dont understand why? All, I did was ask a few questions. It was like she couldnt be bothered with answering anything.

The salmon hoagie. Man this thing was delicious. I prefer steamed but the fried hoagie is also very good. I got everything on it except salt and onions. Youll love it!

Food is good people forget seafood isn’t cheap can’t expect to pay $5-7 for seafood whether it’s fish or shrimp ect

I got mostly potatoes and broccoli lol Ill never go there again. Their fish sandwiches are actually great but over priced in my opinion

If you accept it as what it is, this would be a 5-star rating. However I had to give it 4 stars simply because they dont really deal in healthy food options. If you are looking for a filling, great tasting sandwich, definitely get one here.

This place food is a hit or miss. I did not like their mussels & shrimp steam platter. It was not seasoned enough & did not have corn as advertised. Their fried platters are a hit or miss. Sometimes it tastes like old grease fried up the food. The lady at the register is very unpleasant. I think she is one of the owners. She doesnt say hello, thank you & she has an attitude like she doesnt like her customers. Very rude & unwelcoming. The only items I like the best is their fried shrimp and hush puppies. Seaworld Seafood is more hype than anything.

Great food..prices are reasonable! Order and wait outside due to the pandemic. 20 minutes tops. My food was fresh no complaints..

Absolutely delish from the fried to the broiled platters. The food is fresh and you get a nice amount for your money! Only thing wrong was there was no tarter sauce, extra garlic butter sauce for crab legs & shrimp, ketchup or cocktail sauce in the bag. Other than that the food is great.

Good food and staff. They get really busy at dinner time so plan on that. The steamed seafood was better than the fried in my opinion but both have big pieces and you get a lot of food.

I gave it 2 stars shrimp were rubbery, the crab legs looked like been cooked the day before it definitely wasnt fresh and they only put one thing of garlic butter. Only good thing here was seasoning and corn besides that for a $50 entrée not worth it.

The food is good. My wife eats it not me. They need to take a little better care of their customers. Got all the way to find out they didnt put any cocktail sauce or tartar sauce in the bag.

Never again will I order from this place. I ordered shrimp and scallops from of their website menu. No where at all does it say that you get imitation scallops! I ordered the seaworld platter . For as much as they charge the amount of crab was disgusting. This place sucks stay away if I were you!

Meh.. it was just okay. The food was a little overcooked. I guess for the price you cant complain but Id rather pay a little more for a better meal.

The seafood is OK here. They need to season their food more and maybe dont overcook the lobster tails. I wish theyd include lemon slices with their platters, especially the steamed platters. Lemon is a must for seafood. It is kind of pricey too.

Their food made me so sick. My husband got food from them around noon and it had to be left over from the night before or something because it didn’t taste freshly cooked and I got so sick after and while eating.

This place is Amazing! The owner is super nice and friendly! I own a restaurant myself and know how important for owners to interact with beer customers. Food is always on point and fresh. Consistent! They get super busy so if you are calling and cant get through just come on by.

Really good food. Portions are great for the price. Its not really an eat in place but there are 3 tables. Most people order out. Im glad we ate there because it was nice and hot. Will go again.

I have gotten the steamed shrimp and snow crab platter and they are on point!👌👌👌 Today I got the steamed salmon platter and I absolutely loved it! Never disappoints with the amazing food and customer service 😊. They do take debit and credit in case anyone wonders, but $10 minimum on credit. Like the other reviews mentioned, do order before going because they make your food on the spot.😁

I ordered through door dash and called the restaurant only to click confirm that they received said order and they were extremely rude to me, proceeded to tell me how busy they were and hung up on me. I had a simple request that only needed a simple response which they could not handle. Extremely poor customer service.

This place has yet to disappoint me. Platters are reasonably priced but order in advance if you dont want to wait because they make your food when you order, nothing is cooked and sitting all day. Always fresh

Not the move. Got a fried catfish platter and it was all mediocre. Not even truly sure the fish was catfish. Heavy batter. At least the pieces were large, I guess. It also didnt come with macaroni salad or coleslaw like advertised. Fries had no seasoning. A little salt goes a long way on fries. A little salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika and you have something amazing.

Everything was super yummy except the lobster tail which tasted off (maybe freezer burnt?but there was still more than enough other stuff to fill our party of 3 and have some food leftover.

I drive over an hour to get the 7b platter. Love this place!

Does not even deserve a star. Food was mediocre at best to unedible at worst. So the crabcake was decent but unfortunately it is Mrs. Pauls. Tasted identical. Scallops are some kind of mystery meat that unravelled when the breading came off. Did not taste good either. Everything had way too much breading but i suppose that is to disguise the lack of taste in general. Total fail.

This place is awesome! We bought a few platters and sides and everything was delicious. All items were packaged very neatly. Definitely going to be a re-occurring customer!

This was my first visit I ordered a snow crab leg platter. Great portion size, nicely seasoned, and tender. Service here was great definitely would consider coming here more often.

I moved to the area from the shore, so I know and love my seafood. Its not fresh off the boat but its damn delicious. I was looking for somewhere to get a decent seafood dinner and Ive found my spot. Portions were enormous, Prices were very fair, and the food is delicious. Only had a few of the broiled platter but being this far from the sea, this place cures the craving. Its busy most nights and Ive learned best idea is to order ahead and pick it up. Definitely give it a try.

Love the food. Only problem is that I am usually sick the next day. I have no food allergies. After consuming the shrimp within 24 hours I have gastrointestinal issues for approximately 48 hours. They also use an unholy amount of butter.

Good food terrible service....owners wife was rude and short and ruined entire experience. If youre paying $75.00 - $100.00 for your order you expect some level of customer service...bad business. I will not be back! First and last bad experience here.

I brought my girlfriend from Easton,Pa here for the first time and she loved it. Friendly service and the steamed platter #4 lobster tail and half pound shrimp was amazing. She couldnt stop talking about how much the food tasted and how well it was prepared. Thanks seaworld and well be back very soon.

Used to be best seafood spot but they have new cooks and food not same. Fried food not seasoned and steam platters not cooked long enough. Corn so hard could not eat. Not worth it anymore

The food was great! Due to the resturant providing many different seafoods there is a smell in the restaurant but overall I enjoyed my visit

It Is delicious and amazing. It looks sketchy but it is so good. The staff is very generous. There crab cakes are so good. The only problem with myself is peeling the shells off.

It took kind of long to make my food. They might need more steamers. But overall when I finally got my food and got home to eat it we were very much happy with the taste.

You cant beat the price or the food. Its just fabulous !! Fresh veggies and seafood. The butter is real. The only downer is the service. They messed up my order and I had to wait 15 extra minutes for them to fix it. No apology or anything... That was the only bummer.
