Otherwise known as Puerto/Port Salvador Allende. Great spot to sit relax, buy local foods and snacks. You can also walk a little further, eat at the local hut restaurants, check out the small museum, and catch a boat ride around Lago/lake Xolotlan known as lago managua. Great cultural experience.

Very nice place. There are tons of restaurants to eat and while the lakes water is very contaminated, the views are great. Plus, it is very close to the Airport and most of the hotels.

Love it! Its family oriented. Theres something for everybody. They have activities like skating, small water park, little train for toddlers, dance shows on Sundays, little huts with music and local food, dance area, small church replicas. Its quaint, colorful, fun, clean.
