This laid-back hotel set in tropical gardens is a 10-minute walk from the Atlantic seashore, 3 km from Bijilo Forest Park and 8 km from the Kachikally Museum and Crocodile Pool.Relaxed rooms offer air-conditioning (fee), mosquito nets and satellite TV, as well as safes and private terraces. Villas add ceiling fans, living rooms and dining areas. Room service is available 24/7.There's a subdued restaurant with a terrace overlooking an outdoor pool, which passes under a walkway to a splash pool. Additional amenities include an exercise room, massage treatments, and a poolside bar with a thatched roof.
If the review was to be based on hotel manager and staff they would get higher staff. Honestly very friendly, kind and concerning people. They done a lot to accommodate and ensure myself and my group were as happy as can be. They interacted genuinely with me and my peers and displayed large amounts of love. Hygiene was very good & displayed for the most part from what I could see. However, most importantly the rooms/hotel layout itself could do with much improvement. The mould that was in my room was overpowering smell wise and appearance wise (noted it did rain a lot and very heavy). If you were staying longer than a week that would not be good for your lungs. The beds are large and quite comfortable yet the pillows could do with much improvement. My room was not very welcoming/comfortable, so make sure you have things to do outside of the hotel. It is only good to rest your head for sleep. The doors are literally falling apart, be careful you are locking properly.Dinner meals could also do with improvement. More variety. We had chicken everyday…. & vegetarian option was egg…
Nice place to be honest, friendly staff, all it needs is a facelift and a sprout up.Would definitely stay again
Really bad room. It was noisy from the outside, any time other guests walked on the corridor or closed their doors you could vividly hear. The AC sounded like a generator. They didnt even provide slippers or a bathroom mt so the bathroom was constantly wet. The door kept on jamming so I was stuck 4 times. Wifi didnt reach the rooms. Complete waste of money, dont waste your money like I did.
A small hotel with good service
Low service and staff not kind dirty room infect brealfast
Very clean and organised hotel.
Cool and beautiful place to be. Their rooms are quite affordable and good. They also have swimming pool
Went there for a meeting a bit run down .
Clean and comfortable, but old decor, parts of the hotel very worn. In need of a refurbishment and modernisation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Ok place to lay your head, but not where you would want to stay if on holiday, also overpriced considering condition its in.
The environment is beautiful, the breakfast is good, staffs are polite. However, the management need to do some maintenance on the facilities in the room
It,s one star, no moe
It was oké but for my ears noisy
A good hotel
This is a Gambian run hotel where we stay each year we visit The Gambia. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. We stay in rooms overlooking pool with a shared balcony, rooms are basic but very comfortable. Love the huge beds and always sleep well. Breakfast is good with omelette, eggs and pancakes cooked to order. Lovely fresh bread and the other food available is basic but good. Evening 3 course meal available for 600d each and always very good. We love it here. Its small, gorgeous plants which are well maintained by the gardener. Monkeys occasionally visit, so shut your room door! Very friendly and entertaining to watch. You are in The Gambia, so dont expect it to be like staying in a hotel in Europe! If you want to experience the country, dont expect luxury. This is a third world country and the locals need your support. The locals earn very little money, 60p a day, so show your appreciation for their help and friendliness and tip accordingly! The hotel is a ten minute walk from the beautiful beach. You can find peace or liveliness here. There is good local entertainment in the evening by the pool bar (with great barman!), all drums which are loud, but finish by 8.30. We love it here, support the local Gambians!
Very nice but check in staff were not helpfull
I go to Gambia every year. I always stay at the seaview garden hotel
Infrastructure & location good but customer service need improvement especially reception side..
The positive: the garden is beautiful. The breakfast is nourishing. The negative: sheets were dirty; light was broke, and the room was dark and dingy. I counted at least 7 Flying cockroaches in the bathroom. The staff was not helpful. Told me that that is just to be expected in the Gambia (which is not true- my other hotels did not have blatant cockroach infestations).
Hotel, infrastructure, location are awesome but staff service is not so much good.
Nice hotel with good price , we paid 2200D . STAFF IS NOT SO COOPERATIVE. HOTEL IS FINE , CONSIDERING THE LOCATION , WHICH IS CLOSE TO SENGAMBIA STREET AND THE BEACH.
The only hotel that matches both categories of guests. A friendly meeting point for both local and International guests.
Its a great place, with a serene environment, great staff.. And great meals🤗🤗Its lovely 💖#MyGambiaExperience🤗🤗💖
Excellent value for the price. Great location close to the beach and center. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The only minus was the restaurant, the breakfast buffet was chaotic and unorganized, and the quality of the food was poor
Beautiful view, food is great with affordable services.
The reception first port of call are friendly, very helpful and informative. My room was lovely, very clean, wonderful and attentive staff and amazing food. Fun pool bar with the most friendly and engaging staff. The location cannot get any better for its walking distance to Senegambia where everything happens. Supermarket and bank within 3mins walk. I have been staying at Seaview for few years and have met a lot of happy revisiting guests who have become friends. Very family friendly hotel.
Nice hotel what you would expect from the country we where bed and breakfast comfy staff where helpfull especally the barman he went all out for my daughter would recomend to anyone who is thinking of going the strip is a stones through away and so is the beach.
Nice place Nice room budget but good
Sea view is warm and welcoming as great staff and management and is a place were you can relax at your ease good pool bar and resturaunt would recommend to all familys and couples and even single people
Great place to stay. Staff were very helpful.
The reception staff members were very unhelpful. Also, catering staff did not return my change. The room I was put in was not nice. One of the cleaning staff was very helpful in accommodating me. Well done to him
Enjoyed our stay! No place like home!
I go to gambia every year. Staying at seaview garden hotel
That place is a health hazard. I couldnt even bear to spend a minute there so I left!
Good place for a weekend getaway. Friendly staff.
The place I allways will stay AT.....
A nice hotel situated in Banjul Gambia. Serene environment great accommodation.
Nice rooms great location and good pool and bar
Nice ambience and friendly hotel staff. Its close proximity to the Senegambia Strip makes all the difference.
Perfect Hotel, with nice and friendly staff.
One of the best hotels in town
Nice hotel and staff, everybodys friendly. Close to senegambia strip and beach, and other activities. If you are looking for a basic clean hotel this is good for you.
A little dated but clean. Had a four poster bed complete with mosquito net. Air con is available at extra cost, which is a must. Quite a good spread for breakfast each day. 15mins walk from "the strip" where there are lots of bars and restaurants.
Great accommodation ☆☆☆ for Western standards . As a xpat Gambian. I was a bit disappointed with the service at the reception. I fill very un welcome. Everything els was great 24-7 security and most of the staff were very attentive and will go out of there way for you.
Excellent location, just before Paradise Suites Hotel. Its few meters away from the beach.
It looks quite good en welcoming
I stayed at this hotel for 2 weekt with My friends and It was amazing It is very close to the beach and Senegambia you can Walk there in 5 min the straff Is very kind and welcoming and we really enjoyed It we Will definitly stay there Again :)
I stayed at the seaview hotel for 1 week in January and although I never write reviews I feel compelled to write a review about this hotel as I enjoyed it so much ! The small size made it very warm and the staff really did go out of their way to make me happy. I loved the location as if was near all the bars and clubs in Senegambia and I walked to the beach every afternoon! Great food, brilliant service, unbeatable value and awesome location. Well done seaview management !
Very nice and cool and clean I been there 10 months ago its okay every body is respectful I will surely be back any time soon
Nice View&Nice Food so delicious omg...
Good localization. Surely not 4* in EU terms but 3* well deserved. Free internet from multiple access points. No boomsters allowed.
