Stayed there for work but love the friendly staff and service was great. A little confusing with trying to find your room but not a bad little spot.
Enjoyed our evening meal and catch-up with our fellow tour group folk.
Pleasant reception, well appointed room and excellent restaurant.
This is good venue. Food is good. Service is excellent. Variety of drinks was lacking. What they did have was good.
Decent place in the middle of Newman. Cant fault it, though it can get noisy if facing the main road.
TV doesnt work, leaking taps, broken soap dispenser.... no upkeep..place getting run down.
Rooms are tired old boring. Very poor lighting.Overpriced at $300 a night. Restaurant sells steak and sides separate to try and get you to spend lot more. Newman hotel has way better food and prices. Service is better too.
A fairly average place but pretty much what you expect in the heart of Newman. Rooms are neat and clean but lacking in alot of areas. Swimming pool is nice and the restaurant that is on the side of reception is actually really good with great steaks. Staff are friendly and beds are clean and comfy
The rooms are standard. I had a TV & aircon problem - they fixed the aircon though. Staff are fantastic, they went above & beyond for me! I will definitely stay there again :)
The room had an interesting layout but was clean and tidy. Like most Pilbara Hotels the walls are thin so noise does travel but nothing major. The restaurant was great, it was certainly the highlight with great food, good beer and the service from the team was great.
we had two rooms, and one of them stank. I cant place the smell, but it was awful, and it made all of the clothes we had smell too.
Great staff, nice pool, good food. Standard motel style accom, worn and aged but clean and tidy.
Very Nice staff. Lovely looking pool. For the money the room was only just ok. No wifi and furniture well below par.
Nice accomodation. It was clean and bed was comfortable. The soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom are a great idea. The restaurant was nice for dinner and breakfast.
Good place to go for a meal tab side of the business is poor and need work the machine are always out of paper
Good honest clean accommodation if a little tired. Friendly staff will stay here again.
Rooms were great. Staff were very polite and helpful.I was disappointed with the chips that I ordered. Chips were soggy and it tasted like the oil was dirty. The whole place presents well and looks clean.
Friendly and helpful staff and clean tidy rooms.Seasons Steakhouse is exceptional for dinner.Family friendly.Pool and outdoor area is lovely. Too cold for us to make use but if we are back in Newman, we will stay here again!
Brilliant service.Wonderful meals.Rooms very clean and comfortable.
Nice venue and good staff, pool was brilliant as I had it to myself during work hours.
After a hard dayvat work it was good to call the seasons home. The staff were amazingbwell organised and made myvteipbworth while. In particular I would like to commend Aaron and Joe they went above and beyond and knew all the right answers. Well done boys ... see you soon
The staff here go above and beyond every time I stay. It is so wonderful to know that, after a hard day at work, you’ll come home to a friendly welcome or assistance when you need it. Can’t wait to see how the renovations turn out!
Clean rooms. Good air con. Close to shops. Carpark is safe. I had a cage trailer full of camping stuff unlocked for two nights and nothing touched. That is unheard of in kalgoorlie. So a big thumbs up to newman. Public holiday but some shops still open.
Stayed at Seasons Hotel in Newman in July. Whilst the bed was very comfortable and the continental breakfast fine, the bathroom was filthy with the floor waste clogged with brown gunk and the basin, toilet and shower in need of a good scrub. Really disappointing considering how much it cost to stay.
Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Maybe i little bit high $$$. But happy to stay there again.
The hotel/ motel is a little run down in the room I was placed. Small things like the chairs are frayed and the aircon drain is next to the door to the room. The shower was really small as well. The room size is good though and the staff were friendly. The food was not the best, salmon main was overcooked.
Even though I only stayed here as part of a mining shutdown, this establishment was a much higher standard than i excepted. The room was of a high standard and the staff were really friendly. The hotel Manager was especially professional and welcoming. Great place within the town.
Always made to feel welcome here and guaranteed a good meal which is great after flying into town. And always look forward to a chat with Richard over the bar.
I stayed at this hotel for approximately 7 days for a business trip. Both the food and accommodation were excellent however it is well overpriced at nearly $300 per night inclusive of meals. The young staff were polite however the old manager is very rude and becomes very aggressive and threatening if the rules are not followed 100%. Overall this made my stay extremely unpleasant and at times I just did not feel safe, In the future I will ensure all of my staff and colleagues keep away from this hotel there is much better friendlier venues in town.
Having frequented the Seasons on numerous occasions over many years I have found the staff to be of the utmost professional. Taking into consideration the remoteness of the town of Newman the service of all staff was unquestionable. The marte` d greeted us with a warm and welcoming demeanour which added to our enjoyable experience in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. 5 Stars for the Pilbara Experience!
The rooms are clean, large with comfortable beds and are all around nice. The resturant serves very well made food for dinner with large servings but the wait times on meals are about 45 minutes which is unfortunate. Most of the staff are very welcoming except for the manager Richard that runs the resturant he was nothing but rude and cold towards myself, it was sad to see this be the major letdown on an otherwise great hotel. It would otherwise receive a much higher review.
The girls at reception and restaurant were great. However the gentleman in charge of the restaurant was anything but! I am a business owner and have never been treated with such disrespect from someone in the hospitality industry in all my life. He was unreasonable and unprofessional in every aspect of the job.Not only this but the drain in the bathroom overflowed with smelly drain water which stank out the room while having a shower and the toilet was blocked.Would recommend everyone steer clear of this place.
Check in was easy and straight forward. Rooms themselves are a little tired and a little dark (bedroom had no main lightand the aircon is in the living area. The skirting board was coming loose from the wall, so could do with a bit of sprucing up.Dinner wasnt very exciting. Companion and I ordered the steak and rack of lamb, both came out well done. We didnt send it back as it was late, but the waitress did offer to take them back. Food wasnt very exciting tbh.A refresh will do the place good, potential to be an excellent spot.
3 stars because its barely 3* but with a 5* price tag which I suppose comes with being so remote and off the tourist routes. The staff are friendly and the owner greeted me with awful dad jokes that I was sure Id left behind with the boat skippers in Exmouth. Not a bad place to stopover if you are at the stage of your journey when you need to have a sleep.Edit: In response to your response, I like Dad jokes so dont get the wrong impression from what I wrote above ;)
Couldn’t of been happier with our stay. The rooms were very clean and far above what I expected for the price. We received an upgrade on arrival which was a great introduction. The bar staff were exceptional and a credit to the manager. Meals were great and service was professional. Indicative of a manager that knows his job, staff and customers. 10/10 from me. Can’t wait to get to Brockman 4 tomorrow night and see how that compares! Cheers guys xx
my one star rating is even over rated. outdated, dirty, furniture showing signs of wear. had problems with over charged (but did get fixed 6 days later). will never set foot in there ever again.
Rooms dated even the premium versions. Restaurant and staff are great. The only real hotel in Newman so unfortunately like everything else in Newman its over priced. WIFI hit or miss, mostly miss a bit like the tv reception.
Nice staff, great food.. The rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade however they were clean and comfortable
Lovely hotel rooms, enjoy my stay everytime im here. Very clean. Decent food, I always have the turkish bread without cheese, absolutely nice. Id recomend it any day. If Im in newman seasons is my prefered hotel.
Hotel was comfortable - restaurant exceptional especially the very friendly manager who organised my wifes meal how she wanted it. Big thank you.
Ladies at front desk are very friendly and happy to assist. Rooms are dated but clean, beds and linen are scratchy and tv’s so far from the bed.. having said all that it does the job.Bathrooms are small with strong drain smell. Pool area is well maintained and a nice place to wind down.Restaurant here has pretty decent food but (unfortunatelyyou’ll be paying the typical mining town prices. Restaurant staff could take a leaf out of receptions book to improve customer service.Ample parking close to rooms, not secure parking though so never leave your goods unless you want to pay for a new window.
Fantastic night out, large group booking with specific decor requirements, restaurant was very accommodating. Food was top notch, especially for a buffet catering style dinner. I have found over the years that they have an interesting mix of super tasty dishes and the best tasting starters in Newman. Staff and management are great, friendly, and this business and management are always a fantastic help to the community and community groups.
Rooms dont look much from the outside, but once inside, they are quite nice and modern. The staff are friendly, food in the restaurant is good and the beer is cold.
Comfortable rooms, yes a little dated, but nice enough. The food is excellent, really surprised me. I had the beef baby back ribs and they were awesome. The service is excellent, nothing they won’t do for you. Will be back for sure!
Front desk staff are extremely rude, its as if your interrupting them, not exactly welcoming, bit of a not my problem vibe. Rooms really dated and door cannot be locked from inside and was just a knob, didnt feel secure. Also watched on various occasions who I am presuming was the manager, have a go at staff in front of customers, really unprofessional and made me not want to support their business by dining there. At least beds were comfy and it was close to everything in town.
This is a comparative rating based on options within the local area. Rooms are large with double beds and a small fridge, wardrobe and desk. They are not modern, but are kept well clean. Restaurant served up excellent steaks and ribs. A large selection of beer and spirits are available. I found the service excellent Andrew staff very friendly, however I did witness a few instances of the staff not understanding aussie lingo. There is no gym, but you will find a pool. Laundry service is a great price also.
Accommodation...Like the fact that its not just a room with a bed. Giving you a loungeing chair and a office chair.Nice place to stay and work from.No access to wifi in rooms.Could do with a chair outside room on balcony.Room was cleaned daily and tv was good size for room.Restaurant...Richard is awesome, makes sure your looked after whilst your here.Great selection of wines, beers and sprits.Staff attentive to your needs.Wide variety on the menu and great desert options.Would recommend this place if working in Newman and need a great base close to town.Shops and other restaurants close and waking distance from hotel.
Room paid $175/night for 3 nights is not worth it. Pictures did not match my expectation... room infested with insects and roaches that creeps at night EVERY NIGHT OF MY WHOLE STAY. Called management and they couldn’t transfer me to another room at least. I felt undervalued as a customer.
Excellent place to stay, staff are friendly, great food and rooms are modern and very clean. Best of all my boss is paying...lol.
5 stars for its region. Had good dinner. Accommodation is good but can get way better for the same money in any capital city. Dont try the budgety rooms.
