Season Sushi - Sushi restaurant in Katoomba, Australia
Staff are friendly and attentive. Great variety on sushi train and it’s fresh. Many families here on a Saturday lunchtime. It was fabulous for a quick lunch for one.
Great cheap and cheerful Japanese restaurant, fully stocked train and staff were great too.
Tasty fresh sushi whether takeaway or eat in at the sushi train. Pick from the train or by request. Great service.
The Sushi Train menu is nice and the food is prepared fresh by the chef... ordering a main off the menu had the hall mark of street food and the waiting staff and some chefs do not give a good hygiene impression.
Fantastic food and wonderful people, highly recommended.
Amazing selection of food. Fresh made right in front of your eyes. A really fun experience and would make it a priority stop when passing through the mountains.
⭐ Great food ⭐ great team ⭐ great sushi restaurant ⭐ Clean place but there are no toilets 🥺Paying with credit card is allowed and you pay depending on the color of the dishes you take.I would repeat and I recommend it 👍
We always live seasion sushi. I think it is the best sushi comoared to Penrith and Parramatta sushi trains
Best sushi I’ve had!! So many options to choose from and everything we tried tasted so fresh! Wish I lived closer to Katoomba and keep visiting this place.
Great for kids! The staff were so lovely. We had a three year old with us and they gave her grapes. Adorable.
Fantastic Value and efficient service. The best part was the food was fresh will be back again!
Best sushi i had. Nice food, nice staff.
Reasonable sushi selection, very tasty food!
I put in an order for a sushi platter for a lunch today & when my partner went to pick it up they were told they’d had no orders. We ended up going elsewhere to order something. They did call to try to rectify their mistake later on.
Great quality sushi with lots of choices and staff were friendly
Good selection of food. Reasonable prices.
Quick and easy bite before our trip. Pretty good sushi served
Great sushi with a lot of vegetarian options clearly marked on the train and they make dishes very quickly when you order off the menu.
A great place to drop in if you dont want to order. The chefs prepare sushi and sushimi 🍣 fresh in front of the customer. Take the dish of your choice. They also do platters to order and you can also order dishes from the menu.
Theyve a sushi train and sushi to order "to go". Bit pricy but also a delicious treat to have every now and then. Treat yourself. I will be back for some more tasty sushi again. <33
Came in here expecting to have a small meal but couldn’t stop eating the food was so delicious.
Not sure if its due to a shortage of staff due to covid or if this is standard practice but despite there being 3 (threepersons behind the counter and one on the register all available tables and bench tops were heaving with dirty dishes, plates, soda bottles etc etc. We sat and waited 15 minutes to get out cleaned, never happened so had to do it myself.Despite this, the sushi is not bad. Mountain good, not City good - if you know what I mean 😉
Small, conveyor belt-style Japanese restaurant.Fresh sushi and sashimi. Enjoyable. Certain dishes you will need to ask the chef to make (unagi - for example).Minus one star from me due to lack of service. There were only two attendance on, but coming up to a new customer to take drinks order should be the first thing a good server does once customer sits down.Food is good but the service needs to improve.
Great place for a bite to eat. Lots of variety, and decent pricing.
Small and homely set upRelatively nice Japanese food considering limited restaurant choices in the areaStaff friendly and quick service
Been her last year and it was great. Unfortunately this time it was terrible. I have never seen old sushi before. I hope that we were unlucky to have picked the plates but they should take dried up fish off the train. My son had a ramen so we could not leave straight away. But we stopped eating. Would not go there again.
Best Sushi restaurant in Katoomba (currently,I do hope things improve in time. The food is fresh and delicious, however if you go in slow times or just before closing your options will be limited. You won’t have the options of fresh Tuna sashimi, or other more tasty options. You will get the more common cheaper option as the restaurant needs to not waste expensive foods after all..The quality is excellent and I am a regular, I’m simply saying pick when you go to eat and you will have a better experience. You can always request a dish be custom made for you, if you happen to go in a slow period - I tend not to ask and accept what is on offer at the time.Prices are not expensive, that all depends on your taste and comparable to anywhere in Sydney- I recommend!
Taste sushi with reseanable price. Food is fresh and staff are friendly.
Freshly made and delicioua sushi, a fair amount of variety, nice surprise find in Blue Mountain! Unagi Donburi with miso soup is especially nice.
Love this place! Great service, I love the family feel to the place. Im always greeted and farewelled each time I enter and leave. Great sushi chefs, I love the blonde host shes always got a smile on, great variety of food and drinks.
The best sushi around. This place is an absolute favourite. Fantastic relaxing atmosphere. Wonderful sushi and very accommodating service
A charming restaurant with friendly service. Venue is clean, reasonably priced and family friendly.Delicious sushi with variety of dishes.Highly recommended. 👍
Enjoyed the dishes..Disappointed that no salmon was available for any sushi other than nigiri during this visit. However, what I did have- vegetable dumplings, grilled salmon nigiri, crab were all fantastic.
Worst experience. In the middle of eating, one of the waitress asked us all to move to one side of the table (even though there was no enough space for three seats)so that a group of new customers can take the other side of our table. 😓The most unpleasant experience in a Japanese restaurant. Would definitely not recommend at all.
Great friendly staff and good sushi, have been multiple times. Recommended
Absolute worst service within one minute of walking through the door!! I completely understand covid regulations but was asked to have my boyfriend serve me the food as the server wanted me to sit somewhere I could not reach the train — in a restaurant that was mostly empty!! Now I can see why!
Excellent sushi. Great selection and friendly staff. Will definitely make this our regular haunt.
Such a beautiful place with wonderful food! Large variety of food choices to meet all your sushi needs. Professional and considerate of all guests, superb customer service. We had an awesome time - thank you 🥰🥰
Loved the food: authentic, very fresh and tasty. Perfect way to end an energetic day tracking the awesome Blue Mountains. We had Panko Salmon and Fresh Salmon Don. Going back there today and tomorrow for sure. Thanks Sushi n Co - you make our Blue Mountains experience very memorable.
A wonderful, Clean, friendly Sushi train Resturant, with a great selection of fresh sushi, from nigiri to California rolls. The items to order menu, are well priced and generously portioned, from meal sets to sushi plates.Wonderful food, would recommend!
Recently bought the large tray of sushi for pick up, not only was it the wrong tray but then a female member of staff started arguing with us claiming we were wrong and that the incorrect sushi tray was one we ordered. In the end we had to buy both trays after a 30 minute wait. Not happy at all. Would not recommend.
The food was delicious & cheap, will definitely go back there again & i recommend anyone who likes Sushi to give it a try.
Right on the main street, cosy family friendly restaurant with fresh delicious food. Fast and friendly service, reasonably priced. Will definitely come back again!
Great quick place to grab a bite of sushi made by the perfectors of sushi - Japanese run and made!
Loved it. I ordered the vegetable udon. The portion is big and it had lots of amazing veggies - mushrooms, seaweed, beancurd skin, broccoli and veggie tempura.
Fresh sushi.. also tried their ramen that also good.. staffs were nice, helpfull and friendly.. visited there on May so their miso soup was very nice for cold weather in Katoomba.. great place to have some lunch before visit Three Sisters or back to Sydney as it is located near the train station..
I absolutely love this place, every time I feel I have succeed in something, I go here as a reward. Love it. Fresh, tasteful sushi with flamboyant food. Love the salmon and fried chicken nigiri as well as the salmon & avocado rolls and fried chicken and avocado rolls. But the salmon is a bit fishy...Geddit?No just kidding salmon tastes real nice, like ligit, really fresh and tender.Super salmon, smashin’ chicken, and ... cracking avocado,. 10/10 rubber duckies. Definitely recommend it.
Amazing food and service, I cant wait to come back again.
Perhaps the worst Japanese experience Ive ever had. The noodles were just tasteless and bland. The fried food went soggy before I could even start! Simple seating arrangements were not understood. There were obviously enough chairs on a certain table for my group ( my sister had to explain to the waiterbut instead made us sit on another table and carried those chairs over.Would not recommend at all 😡
Warm sushi, but cold edamame while selection was also small despite offerings on the menu. However the big upset was the 3 minutes I spent eyeing the fly walking along the salmon as the chef is slicing it. A huge safety violation especially with raw fish.
