7500 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33141, United States, Miami Beach
A 2-minute walk from the beach, this laid-back apartment hotel is 5 miles from both the Miami Beach Botanical Garden and the shops on Lincoln Road.Featuring pine floors, the modern studios offer free Wi-Fi, 42-inch flat-screen TVs and kitchens, as well as living areas and washer/dryers.Complimentary happy hour drinks are offered at a sister property down the street. Additional amenities include an outdoor pool with sunloungers, plus limited on-site parking.
Sadly this hotel made our trip to Miami a nightmare. When we first arrived we had to pay extra costs for each day in „taxes“ that weren’t mentioned before the booking. We then got into our room it was very small and had a weird smell and it was dirty with spots all over the wall. It was nothing like the pictures online so we asked to switch rooms. The receptionist was really nice and we were offered a „better“ room that was a little bigger.Sadly the room as well had a very weird moldy smell, the sink was clogged after every use, the floor was super dirty so our socks were dark all the times when walking here. Also we weren’t able to open the windows in the bedroom and bathroom as they won’t close from the inside (this was mentioned before we got into the room, but still this is bad).In our 8 day stay the room was cleaned 1x time even though they said it’s cleaned every third day. You weren’t really able to tell anyways as the room was still dirty after it was cleaned. Bed sheets were changed only after asking two times. Also it was very loud and you could hear every foot step from the apartment above us and next to us. One day while leaving the room I touched into wet paint at the door of the hotel hallway - there was no sign or something that the walls were painted. The hygiene here is really horrible, on the night before our checkout we discovered cockroaches under our bed and we had enough. It was offered to us to change into another room but we just wanted to get out as fast as possible. We checked out one day early because of that. The fee for the taxes of the day we haven’t stayed here was not paid back and the receptionist wasn’t helping at all. Until now they kept the money. We had high hopes for this vacation but sadly this hotel was the reason we didn’t feel comfortable at all, even though the staff was really nice it was way too unhygienic for the high price we paid. Do not recommend at all.
Always a good time with the lovely Caridad who’s so attentive and warmhearted.Location was perfect we had everything near and I do recommend you try the restaurants near there. Going back soon!
Great place to go when youre on a low budget.People are too delicate expexting a 5 star hotel leaving bad reviews.if yoh want a top luxury hotel expect to pay alot and dont come here.People here are great and rooms are great for the price not too far from the beach. I will come back if i am trying to save money.
We travel to Miami Beach 2 weeks ago. Booked 3 rooms. Got them where pool is. Loved everything. Nice rooms, nice pool, the walking distance to beach was the best. Kids were so happy. They provide room service and clean towels. Nobody bother us with our dog being in the room. Compared to other hotels this one was the best, affordable and loved the kitchen. Stayed for 5 days so the kitchen was an A+. There was only 2 lil issues. We get there before 3pm and rooms were not ready. It took them 4 hours to get rooms ready. Kids were so tired of waiting. Went to eat and came back to find out that there was no rooms, when they had already said they were cleaning them. They wanted to move us to different location, which we couldnt do because of the kids. Finally issue resolved and got 3 nice rooms at the pool area. Second issue the washer and drier didnt work in none of the three rooms. Taking those 2 issues out. Staying at Seaside was the best experience ever. We had the most fun 5 days ever. Thank you we will be coming back.
The bedsheets had pawprints on them and smelled like feet. Bathroom door disgusting, and I dont know whats up with the gray boxes next to the beds, it had no draws no purpose other than a lamp on top. I knew about the parking cituation but they could improve. I do not recommend the place.
Not so good. We found several insects (cockroaches and spidersand the cleaning staff never came to our bedroom, also our shatter was broken. Disappointing to say the least.
I traveled with my two babies and even like that they gave us the hottest room of the hotel. The AC was not working and my babies couldn’t stop crying. We asked many times to change rooms even if we needed to pay but they told us the hotel was complete. That was not true. About 36 hours later, we were able to change rooms but this room was incomplete. We had no sofa, mirror and hot water to shower. They came to make the room on the 5th day of our trip instead of the 3rd day like it is supposed. We asked before that for new towels and they never gave us. I am so disappointed about my stay.
Literally the worst hotel Ive ever stayed at. Air conditioning did not work. We paid the hotel for parking $15 per day and they gave us a $36 ticket for paying for the incorrect parking spot. The hotel said they wouldnt do anything for us despite them misinforming us about where to park the day before. The only offer that could be made because of an issue that was their fault would be to delay our check out. The next day we were told they were no longer allowed to delay our check out despite misinforming us of that the day before. Overall, I have never been blatantly lied to by anyone in hospitality as much as this place.
Cheap isnt always better. I asked for fresh towels after wasting the room towels drying up the floor after taking a shower (water seeped underneath the shower stall and flooded bathroom). Never got fresh towels delivered. The TV remotes were uncoded so I couldnt watch cable TV at all even after making a request to re-code remotes for two days (but hey, I didnt come to watch TV anyways so Ill let that one slide). The pool was filthy so I found myself playing Florida poolboy and took the liberty of cleaning it (youre welcome). The front desk seemed non-chalant about my experience. But, I wont let this ruin my stay in Miami Beach.
The electrical outlets dont work, so therefore we cant charge our phones. And the washing machine doesnt work as described in the list of amenities. Location is good otherwise. The manager wasnt trying to resolve the issue or compensate us in anyway.
This hotel is horrible, to start it off they dont clean your room everyday which is ridiculous every hotel has room service everyday except this one. The water is very little there is no cold water and the shower is dirty and broken. Theres bugs crawling everywhere. The manager said my room was going to be cleaned and they never cleaned it if u plan on staying in this hotel DONT it is horrible worst 700$ spent.
Dirty rooms and especially bathrooms. Both wardrobes in our room smelled so much we couldnt keep our clothes in there. Rude stuff. Summing up, if you want a great holiday you better avoid this hotel.
Booked three rooms for employees on a work trip. The rooms had cockroaches the size of rats, brown water coming out of faucets, and dark soot covering the floors. We canceled the reservation and the hotel is refusing to provide any sort of a refund. Avoid this place at all costs.
Hotel was 2 blocks away from check in. The pool is way smaller than pictures show on website. Staff wouldnt let us check in until 3 however other 2 families who arrived after us were allowed to get their room. Near beach which was good no beach towels provided either 🤔
PLEASE READ!!! This place is definitely not a hotel, not a boutique hotel either. There are 4 buildings that are not so much of a walking distance from each other (by the way, no addresses for those buildings anywhere on their website). The "hotel" address is listed at 7500 Collins Avenue so when you book it thru their website, of course, you think that this is the location right? But not really... Studio Suite I booked somehow ended up to be at 8320 Harding Ave, which is really in the middle of nowhere and theres NOTHING nearby, no restaurants, no stores. Its 8 blocks away from the 75th street, nothing is around, you are on the super high trafficked one-way avenue (Harding Ave). But ok, this is just the beginning of many surprises that this "wonderful hotel" offers you. The studio was nice, but again, just think of Reception Desk 8 blocks away...Well flipped room that, unfortunately, wasnt even vacuum cleaned...but again...I guess you can somehow live with it and request the room service the next day, fine. But then the rain started and it was the last straw of my patience...the roof was leaking thru the fire alarm system (never saw it beforeand so the fire alarm started to shout so loud, the room was all wet (I assume happened many time beforeand since theres nobody in that building, nobody ever came to stop the fire alarm at least, not even talking about the leaking roof. This should be addressed to owners of this place ASAP. The building is clearly an UNSAFE STRUCTURE and should be closed for the remodeling. I wont recommend anyone to stay there! I never write bad reviews, but this one really got me! I can only imagine this happens to people who flew on vacation to Miami Beach from far away... Please do yourself a favor, and dont use anything from South Beach Group! Its embarrassing what they do!As to managers "SOLUTION", I have NEVER received any response from Jorge Rojas, and have never received any kind of receipt when we checked out on the same day after the 3 hour stay! So please dont try to pretend you ever reached out to me and, by the way, NEVER responded to any of my requests when I sent you text messages at the number that you have listed as for "COMMUNICATION" with the front desk. WORST 3 HOURS EVER!!!
Excellent place to stay and absolutely fantastic prices, especially when compared to everything else we were looking at. There are 4 different hotels/ suites that make up the location, so you may not be in the main building, but fear not some of the satellite locations are WAY better. We booked a king suite, but ended up in an apartment with a queen bed. No big deal at all. Our washer and dryer did not work, but honestly that only bothered us because we had several days of thunderstorms during our stay... but we used the hair dryer to dry our shoes and everything was all good. The staff is super friendly and courteous. But I dont recomend trying to check in early, they seem a little short staffed and getting all those places cleaned can take a while. All in all, excellent place to spend a week while in Miami!
BEWARE. Classic bate and stitch!I was there in March and am still working with my lawyer to have funds returned for my canceled stay. Before booking I called to confirm close access to food as my daughter has diabetes and we would have no car. On arrival and AFTER I was made to pay for the room, we were told we were not in the main building abs placed in a room .8 miles away in a residential area with no food or access to anything nearby. I requested a new room and was told no, speak with the manager who ignored my daily attempts to contact him until i was back home in Chicago (and if I didnt like it I could post bad review). Be forewarned if you are asked to pay up front that there is fraudulent transaction to follow.
My stay was excellent and the room was very nice. The staff was friendly and kind. They always offered a helping hand. Lazaro and Jennifer were absolutely amazing and made the experience pleasant!
My experience here was nearly perfect. My cousin and I stayed at Seaside Hotel for 3 nights this past weekend. We had planned a very last minute trip and this was an affordable option that still had availability. Upon arrival, the young man at the front was very pleasant and patient. We were upgraded to a suite in one of the newer buildings about 2 minutes north from the main property. On the first try our key didn’t work, and the same gentleman from the front desk came quickly to assist with a second set of keys. The decor was nice and furniture seemed to be new (minus the broken sofa bed). My biggest concern was the cleanliness of the room. Certain areas needed a little more attention, such as the bathroom sink, base boards, doors and door handles. Some areas of the floor were also sticky. Other than that we had a great time, quiet place, perfect location, gated access. Will definitely stay here again if I needed to!
Lazaro & Jennifer we’re both very welcoming and friendly and also very helpful! The hotel stay was amazing it was very quiet in the rooms even while there was a large group outside by the pool we didn’t hear anything! The hotel’s housekeeping staff was also very helpful and friendly and accommodating! Everything is so very close to the hotel and the beach is just a walk away, one of the best hotels I’ve been to!
There was a bug infestation in the kitchen and the bathroom. Lack of response to mitigate the situation. We could not even keep our food out it was so bad. The toaster didn’t work-they did replace it when I requested. When I booked, it stated the room had a washer/dryer. It was ‘out of order’. We were told we would have a room change, then to be told we wouldn’t. They eventually made the room change after I complained enough. I attempted to contact the ‘General Manager’ of the property FOUR times-left messages; and received NO contact back. The housekeeping staff themselves were very kind and respectful. The general manager and supervisory staff clearly do not take pride in their work.
Gang fights outside of our hotel room…not the ideal family vacation. Our room reeked of weed from the people smoking at the pool 24/7. We got a combined total of about 5 hours of sleep all week from the constant screaming at 2am. The cops as well as the front desk were called several times and nothing was done. Homeless people were sleeping on the pool mats when we left in the morning. Not only did we feel our safety at risk, we were not shown hospitality. There was a resort fee of $20 a day to receive towels and basic cleaning, none of which happened. We ended up leaving a couple nights early because of the constant disruptions and lack of service. We did not receive a refund for any of the inconveniences we endured. I do not recommend coming here and I will never be back.
We arrived at 2 in the morning due to flight delays, but check in was still so easy. We just called the number provided, and Edison got us taken care of. He was very friendly and explained the property and room information clearly. (Thank you, Edison!Love love love the apartment style hotel room. It feels spacious enough to actually spend time in, and the kitchenette is great for saving money by cooking some meals for ourselves. If you’re looking for a stay that’s different than a huge hotel, this is a great option.
My stay here was great. Close to the beach and other landmarks in the city. The room itself was as expected, and the front desk staff were very attentive. Thank you Jennifer, Sandy, and Lazaro.
This hotel breezeway is very relaxing. Nice small pool for quests. Rooms are exactly like the pictures shown online. Kitchen is what made are stay more then accommodating. Very nice beds & bathroom. Sandy & Jennifer are the upmost professionals on staff here & Bilingual.Enjoy your stay !!
The hotel is fine, but it has some minor inconveniences such as a light bulb that doesnt work well, you cant enter the room because theyre cleaning it, among other minor problems. On the employee side, the manager is one of the most attentive that I have seen in a hotel and the supervisors are also very attentive, such as the supervisor Kenia, who was the one who helped me get to my room, she was very kind to me and when it was time to leave she also helped me. In summary, it is not a bad hotel if you want to spend a few days on the beach enjoying with your family. Definitely recommended.
Sandy and Jennifer have been awesome since day one. Room was clean and they’ve helped us throughout our whole trip. The location is great everything is on walking distance including the beach! Thank you again sandy and Jennifer.
I had the pleasure to spend 5 days in this hotel with my daughter and friends. This place is very well maintained, plus the staff is great. I had the chance to have Sandy and Lazaro at the front desk for my check in and they were great people and very welcoming, helpful with everything. I strongly recommend this hotel.
I had the worse experience here. When we arrived the first bed I uncovered had stains. So I ended up using the other bed. It bothered me but I left it alone because there was another bed. Then the second day we went out and our door wasnt locking. I had to slam the door to lock it, which it seem was a normal thing according to the housekeeper I spoke too. Until eventually it didnt lock at all. You could literally just push the door open without a room key. I called to complain and no one responded. I went to front desk with promises they would send someone to fix the door. Never happened. I emailed customer service they said they would send someone, and once again they did nothing. The area around the hotel was sketchy at night as well. I left with them never fixing the issue. I thought it was ridiculous how I had to pay full rate per night and constantly had to worry I would come back and my stuff would be stolen. I would never recommend this hotel for lack of customer service and lack of cleanliness.
for $50 a night I couldn’t really ask for better! Room was huge, clean and had updated decor and amenities. Wasn’t perfect (no daily room service cleaning, room had a tiny bit of a chemical product smell upon arrival, not in the most glam/upscale area in Miami Beach), but it was a block from the beach and near affordable food spots. They provide free beach towels which was majorly helpful. Overall I enjoyed my stay!
