Seascape Cottages in Antigonish

This place is amazing! We were lucky enough to get in on a cancellation and I highly recommend this place to everyone. The scenery the stunning and the owners are the nicest people.

Clean & friendly. They boiled fresh lobster for us( market price). If it wasnt so faraway for us we would return! It is 20 minutes from Antigonish but highway is good.. It so relaxing to sit on cottage deck & see the water & birds!!

This is a lovely, comfortable spot to unwind. We stayed for a night last year abd for two this and will be extending our stay next. The cottages are comfortable, immaculately clean, and full of everything you need to prepare meals/bbq/have a fire. Beds are comfortable, and fans, windows, and the breeze off the ocean made it so comfortable we never even wondered about AC.We signed out a canoe and had a lovely day paddling around the small island and sandbar and then over to the other beach.As far as cottages in Nova Scotia go, these are some of the best we have found, both in location, price, and overall experience. Youll pay double up in Cape Breton for some pretty dank places that havent seen any updates or a deep clean in like 30 years.Best view to wake up to with a lovely deck to enjoy it on. Bring your groceries, settle in, and forget about the stresses of the rest of the world.

Back again for the second time. This time we rented the 2 bedroom cottage, it would easily sleep 6 people with the sofa bed in the living room. Its very clean and very quiet place to spend some quality time. I highly recommend this place if your looking for some quality time with the family.

This is a great spot to getaway from the same ol work and sleep routine. The people who run the cottages are above and beyond friendly. We felt welcome from the second we arrived. The landscape and wildlife are amazing and the cottages are fully loaded with free wifi!!! Would highly recommend and we will be back next summer for sure.

The cabin was beuatiful the deck was nice to sit on, the beds were great. The night we could see the stars it was amazing and the pink sunset over the water was beuatiful. Even with it raining for two of the days we had a great time. Beaches were close and they were great. I would highly recommend staying here.

The cabin needs a good cleaning its the first time ever that you to sweep the floors before leaving cabins are not up to standard

Enjoyed the weekend greatly ..clean comfy cabins lots of room for four or more ..lots to see ..eagles ..rabbits deer a porcupine and many birds..lots of places to explore ..hope to return soon ..

Cute cabin that is very clean with beautiful scenery. However, not high standards when it comes to pillows, blankets etc. Basic cottage amenities. Excellent front desk service.

Staff was very accomodating to our arrival. Cottage was clean and comfortable. The scenery was excellent and it was very quiet and private. Very happy with our stay.

wir haben in einem der Cottages im Juni 2018 gewohnt. Wir waren sehr begeistert. Frank hat uns sogar die lebenden mitgebrachten Hummer zubereitet. Das Cottage war super sauber, die Betten sehr bequem undes hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage ist wunderschön, direkt in einer Bucht, in der ein Seeadlerpaar gejagt hat- ein seltenes Schauspiel. Wenn manRuhe und Endspannung sucht, der ideale Ort -vor allem auch wegen dem Besitzerehepaar, das sehr freundlich und behilflich ist.Ulrike und Rolf Germany

Not bad although cottages could do with a little updating, especially given the cost.

Bring your camera! Beautiful spot. Quiet. Great place to enjoy nature. Birdwatchers delight. Beach access nearby. (15 min walkExquisite views from cottage. Such a lovely place to relax and finally get to read that book.A family run business with super friendly cottage owners, eager to make your stay comfortable. Lots of outdoor space to play ball.Nightlife includes raccoons, owls, and even a small bear this trip. None were at all a problem. Be animal aware and keep foods secured, and deck area clean.The cottages are a lovely pine walled inside. Spacious. Adequate sized bedrooms. Light blocking curtains in bedrooms. Fresh linens included. A good idea to bring a favorite pillow. Electrical plugs available, and included in bedrooms and one in washroom. A ceiling fan in the living room helps with the heat of summer. Its helpful to close windows and curtains during the hottest part of the day.Washroom includes a shower stall. Bring shampoos and soaps, and extra toilet tissue.WiFi was good. Satellite​ tv was good. The tv itself was a small tv located on a shelf built onto the wall. A great space saving idea, just be mindful, like the microwave, it can be a bruiser if not careful. Coffeepot and toaster are also provided.Kitchen has basic dishes. Good idea to bring gloves, sos, spices etc. Salt and pepper are provided. Youll need paper towels, Kleenex, and napkins. Remember condiments too. Fridge has full size top freezer and ice cube tray. Sheltered BBQ close by out back of the cottage.The cottage is environmentally friendly and recycle receptacles are outside. Some extra bags for indoor use would be handy to bring along.Nice deck overlooking ocean inlet views. Includes surround seating.Ramp to deck but not suitable for ease of wheelchair entry to cottage. Although, with assistance, could be wheelchair accessible.Fire pit with wood bundles available for $10 cash. Bring along bug repellant. August visit still having mosquitoes, horseflies, and noseeums, mainly after dusk.Spectacular beach a short drive away called Pomquet Beach. A must go spot with change rooms, washrooms, lifeguard service, and picnic areas. Access also by canoe rental ($15 cashfrom cottage owners.
