Seakraft in Taupo

Before coming to this place I googled around to find a wonton soup and found next door at noodle canteen sold it however I walked straight past and asked here as i seen they only had noodle wonton soup. However the young lady said they can do one for me costing me $14. The best decision I made ,this by far my favourite Wonton soup 😊 I am definitely going to come back here againThe flavour was great and it made me feel better and I was absolutely satisfied with this meal I didnt want to eat it all in one go

Overall great experience. It was our first time here and the food was great! Everything was delicious. We got the Egg Fu Yong, Honey Chicken Noodles and Mapo Tofu. Very good portion sizes and the service was awesome. Thank you!!!

Inexpensive fish and chips, bloody tasty,may be best value in touristy Taupo. Will definitely try the chinese food next visit

Place looks clean. Little expensive for me..so sad we didnt fine what I was looking for but we did bought some takeaways..

We wanted to grab something that we could just take back to our hotel and chill out to eat. Seakraft was so good, we got one of their meal deals for $39 which had 3 dishes -fried rice, honey chicken & beef ho fun. The honey chicken was my fave, the rest was good as well. Very friendly lady that served us.

Best Chinese in NZ. Its took me 26 years to find this gem.

Very authentic Hong Kong style roasted duck and pork belly, we both enjoyed it a lot! Decent price and portion! Highly recommended!

Lemon chicken is my favourite and this place had some awesome crispy chicken pieces with delicious lemon sauce. Such an unexpected treat.

Nowhere near as good as I expected. Being one of the most rated Chinese restaurant in Taupo the dishes are plain average. No offense to takeaways but it literally tastes like one of them.

Try this shop a few times, the food are really awesome with good portions. Braised beef is my favourite 👍🏼

Paid $51 for 2 burgers (cheese burger had one little piece of onion and was really pathetic looking2 toasted sandwiches which were raw and completely under cooked., 2 scoops of chips (some over cookedand 5 pieces of fish which was the only thing that was ok. But still nothing to write home about. Really not impressive. I had to apologize to my family for buying dinner. These guys really need to up their game.

Pan-fried dumplings were like cardboard. Served in a plastic container with only soy sauce in the little fish bottles.

Well my taste buds may not be like a food critique but for me and my family the taste is just right. Not too salty, not too spicy just flavourful!

Best singapore noodles in waikato, really nice fish and chips, looking forward to trying the rest of their menu. Worth the drive across town. 👌

Horrible service, horrible foodAsked for sauce for my daughters hot dog like 4 times they said no I need to pay. my kid ordered the stupid hotdog with intentions (from the pic with a hotdog drenched in saucethats when they finally agreed theyd squirt a dab of sauce on it. Rubbish dont offer dine In services if you cant handle it.

Servings are good. Chicken fried rice is tasty. The rest was average.

This food was the best we have ever tried.Swt-sour pork was delicious,as well as fried rice,egg foo yung amazing,dumplings beautiful.Was busy Easter Sunday & even delivered to us at no extra charge.Thankyou so very much.

Hubby and I felt like fried rice. So ordered us a combination fried rice and black bean sauce beef with rice. Sooo yummy 😋 The man who served us was friendly too :Will definitely visit u guys again 😊

I got takeaway from the restaurant as I was craving for sichuan/spicy food during our trip to Taupo. I had no expectation but was impressed by the tasty of the food I got - 水煮牛肉（beef poached in Chilli oil）and 麻婆豆腐 （Mapo Toufu）. I will surely go back again.

This is the best Chinese takeaway in the country, let alone Taupo and the staff are amazing. My wife and I couldnt recommend it highly enough. Ulf Fuhrer

Had the takeaway from here last night. It was really oily, fried rice was not up to standard. Fried beans was ok but salty.

Decent Chinese food with large potion and nice taste!We chose this place because today is Chinese Year Eve and we want to eat some dumplings as tradition. After searching some many Chinese restaurants in Taupo, only Seakraft serves dumpling. We also order fried rice, chicken, duck, and fired noodles. Everything is decent and large potion, enough for group of 5, and totally is about $90. Good deal if you are under budget.

A Chinese restaurant and takeaway, there has some tables where you can dine in or takeaway of course. I do think it is better than the chain store Noodles Cantxxxs. If you are here, I suggest you can try here for Chinese food or some basic takeaway like fish and chip. The holder is a very nice guy, super friendly. I like it!!

I really enjoyed my dumpling soup. My husband had chicken Tom yum soup and the kids had fried rice. It was a good experience.

Thousand times better than next door to the “Noodle Canteen” on the same street , best come here for real authentic tasty Chinese and Singaporean Chinese Cantonese fare

Best Singapore noodle I have ever had in nz the portion is generous w prawn and bbq pork. Only costs 12 dollar

Very disappointed with the food we recieved from here tonight... paying so much for a steak and egg burger and recieving a bun that smells of vinegar.. soggy carrot and cabbage... pieces of steak that you would get in the noodle boxes, with a huge slice of tomato that wasnt fresh at all and a slimy egg not lettuce or cheese was very disapointing..

We tried onion rings and it was the best onion rings we ever had. Chips were also satisfying. We fell in love with the onion rings so much that we had to come back to the same place on our way back. We stopped in Taupo just for this restaurant .

Eat here if you fancy fish with steak chips! Advise to eat in if you do wanna eat here as I got something very different from the snapper I paid for my takeaway and not feasible to go back and complain.

Staff was friendly. Thats about it. I tried the fish and chips here. Wedges were lousy. Fish was tough. I almost thought I was chewing chicken. Their tar tar sauce was nothing special either. They only accept cash but on a good day, they might be willing to give your card a try. Unfortunately, mine didnt work. They were happy to show me fish sizes and stuff so that was nice.

OK Food. Fish&Chips was a bit too oily

Had an ok lunchbox meal there, it was just Ok. Sitting and eating there was a bit cold and too spacious.

Very authentic cantanese cuisine, they also can do spicy dishes. Absolutely delicious

No taste ordered a seafood rice had about 4 tiny prawns in it. Egg fo yong was full of frozen mixed veges. It was an absolute disappointment. Never going there again.

We ordered #43 Sweet & Sour Pork it was delicious. We were on our way up to Whakatane and needed a hot meal for tea. We ordered it again four days later on our way back up to Napier. Plus rice with two meats and veges delicious.
