Seadog&Friends in Minsk

We were excited to eat at this location because it has BBQ. The BBQ was terrible. Tasted old and reheated. Wasnt worth the money at all. We went on a Friday and the dinning area was empty. I know why.

The crab Rangoon dip had separated, had very little crab in it and was very runny. The beyond burger was bland and had an odd texture. The Mac n cheese was very spicy and the pairing of the peppers with the cheese sauce did not work at all

Great food and selection of beverages, and staff is attentive. I will be back.

We had a late lunch,so not many people were there. Staff was very good. Food didnt take long to get and was also very good.

Ok let me start by saying that my lovely wife "Jess" is the front of house manager here and Seadog Brewing has quickly become one of her most favorite places shes ever worked!! She loves going to work here! I believe it has a lot to do with the great staff they have. The work environment is also very encouraging and friendly. I stop by occasionally to get food (and visit my wife🤗and the food here is above average! You cant go wrong with anything in the menu! Turkey BLT is my go to, but the buttermilk chicken sandwich is my #2. Fish & chips is to die for and i saw a lobster roll over the summer that looked delicious. Like I said, you cant go wrong here! Order anything! Its all awesome here!!

Haddock sandwich and Mac n Cheese portions were large. Service was a bit slow, I sat at table after being seated by the host for at least 10 minutes before anyone greeted me as I watched servers visit tables and talk among themselves. I was about to leave when server finally approached my table. I told him I was about to walk out due to waiting so long. His response was, I would have left he did not offer an apology for the delay.

Nice place to catch a game and a brew.

I have stopped at this place a few time now when I make it out this way for work. While here for my 2 weeks I ordered fish and chips my first time. As another reviewer said, you do get a lot but there is absolutely no flavor. Salt or lemon did nothing. My order was missing the coleslaw side that came with it, I discovered when I got back to my hotel. I got them again on my last night here and went with a double cheese burger, fries and a side order. It was clear on the phone when ordering the person taking my order just started but he repeated everything I said. No tomato, add bacon and onion. I went to pick my order up and decided to check my order quick before I left. Again, it was missing my side order. I let them know and was asked if I wanted him to go get it, really? I paid for so yes I would like it please. Noticed the lady employee who had way too much makeup on and who gave him the food whispering stuff to another employee staring at me until we caught eyes. Got back to my hotel and what do ya know. Burger has tomato, no bacon or onion as I asked. The side order of coleslaw was the size of the little ketchup cups as well. What if I was allergic to tomatoes? Burger was decent but little flavor as well. Word to the wise, decent food but if you get it to go open your food and double check everything. You order what you order but they make it however they want. Ill look elsewhere when I come back in a few weeks.

Just moved to the area. Tried they breakfast which was awesome. Have gone back everyday since. Between me and my wife we have tried almost the entire menu. I can tell you everything the serve is amazing! Cant wait for tomorrow.

Hazelnut porter : who even knew such a wonderful thing existed! And that buttermilk fried chicken sandwich? Excellent. Warning: you will be stuffed when done eating and drinking. Shoutout to our wonderful waiter Eric for the great service. Also, after being stuffed, I am certain he is the very spawn of Old Scratch for offering us what sounded like absolutely insane desserts. Next time Eric, you devil you. 😈😉🙂

Beers…I love them, but was so disappointed in those I tasted, I ended up with a glass of wine….really. We had their “special” which was a smaller portion of both their lobster roll and crab roll. No flavor. Best thing about the dish was the Mac n cheese.

Its been a while since we were here, because we werent impressed with the quality of the food last time, but Im glad we returned! We got bang bang shrimp to start, and a burger and the steak tip poutine for dinner. Everything was excellent, as was the service.

The staff was very friendly & our waiter was attentive. He always made sure we had adequate drinks & hydration. The food tasted excellent. The portions are large. I would definitely go back there if in Portland again.

Over priced. Way too salty everything. Such a sad sell out. I grew up going to sea dog after school in Camden Maine. Now it’s just another Applebee’s. Don’t waste your money. And Cajun anything is not appropriate for a New England themed restaurant!

Had tuna sashimi and lobster dinners. Everything was excellent. The refreshments are amazing as well, of course.

We have always enjoyed going here every now and again, but something was different with the menu--more fried food? Less healthier options? Our server was very attentive and helpful. We arrived at 7:00 on a Friday and were seated right away... Always a happy surprise!

The food was amazing and the staff was attentive. The bar was fully stocked and ready even just before closing.

Currently sitting here after ordering the fish tacos. I ordered these 2 weeks ago at the Exeter location and they were VERY GOOD. Ordered them here and I have drank a whole pitcher of water they are so disgustingly spicy. So now, I have am paying for 20$ tacos that I barley ate any of, a belly full of water, and still hungry. Service was good.

Service was very good. Phil was friendly and attentive. Knew the menu well and his input helped me choose my meal. I truly enjoyed it there. Patio is small and faced the sun in the afternoon, but was still pleasant enough. Paloma drink recommendation was wicked spicy - loved it! Would recommend.

This was the worst service I have ever seen! 5 pm on a Saturday night and the place was empty! The wait staff was absolutely pathetic! The waiter we had was a joke! This used to be a good place but not anymore! I will not be coming back. We actually got up and walked to the Mexican restaurant across the way! Do not waste your time here! The wait person (guywas a jerk! Tried to order food but gave up!

We went to the Western Avenue location of Sea Dog Brewing for happy hour and to see Don Campbell perform (Fridays 4 to 6 p.m. 😉). I had a Hellfire Margarita (okay, twowith lavender syrup added. It was delicious. My husband ordered a local brew and my sister in law had a Tom Collins. Our waitress was Libby. She was fantastic. Attentive, intuitive without being intrusive. We ended up ordering some food (chili for me, clam chowder for the hubster and a side of mac and cheese for my sister in law, sll were deliciousand making an early evening of it.

Had appetizers.....they were all very good .highly recommend the chicken fingers!! So fresh and very flavorful....

There yesterday with a friend to have a cold beer and some munchies. Our waiter showed little enthusiasm on waiting on us. We could see him across the room talking to two other coworkers. They were just standing around showing little interest in customers . We decided to leave and go elsewhere but had to ask somebody else to take our money. Won’t be going back.Too much quality competition out there.

This was our first time here. Its definitely a pub, but, it was more upscale. The service was great. We had the crab rangoon dip for an appetizer. Ive never tasted anything so delicious.I had a garlic burger for an entree. It was juicy, perfectly cooked, and had a slight garlic taste. It was delicious.We each ordered a flight of 6 beers. I like that you can choose the ones you want. I recommend the raspberry, blueberry and summer.Overall, we had a great experience. Cant wait to come back.~~~~~~Went for a second time and had the haddock sandwich. Absolutely delicious. Service was great too.

Sea Dog offers the best haddock fish and chips in the Portland area. Two large filets, lightly battered and piping hot, bring us back time and again ! We have never been disappointed!

Very good food. Great family establishment. Service was a bit slow due to only a few cooks in the kitchen for a busy evening crowd (Monday 6pm arrival). I had the stout beer (x2 since it was goodalong with blue cheese steak tips with mashed potato’s and asparagus. Shared the seared tuna as an appetizer with my wife. All was well received. Would return again!

The hostess and waitress were both real pleasant and attentive. In fact, I dont think Ive ever been disappointed by the staff.Ive been here a few times now. The mixed drinks are creative and delicious and the beer is pretty good. We hit it during happy hour last time, 5$ drinks.Most food items are pricey though. I paid 18$ for a burger and sweet potato fries. However, my girlfriend got a lobster roll for 36$. It was a big roll and filled to the brim with a side of fries. Fair deal on that. I would come here over Applebees or Chilis any day. Im sure we will be back.

Just stopped in for an appetizer and soup. Had the crab Rangoon(?dip, which had more of a hummus texture that was unexpected, but was ok, although a bit sweet. The clam chowder was not that great....more brothy than creamy and a definite "off" flavor. I might be back for the brewery offerings and to try the other menu items. But not the two in this review.

Best bartender in Portland, ME! Ashley was exceptional and friendly.The food options/portions were great. We had the Lobster Roll with fries and coleslaw. Plus the Scallops were delicious.Dessert consisted of Maine blueberries 🫐 with vanilla ice cream and the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream.On the pricier side but what do you expect with price hikes lately and being on the coast. Worth every bit of it.

The menu has been decimated. I know prices are up everywhere, but these now seem to lead the area in hikes. The wait person was terrific and the Sea Dog brew atleast was as pleasing as ever.

Drinks featured 70 craft beers. Really interesting beer selection, didnt find a bad one.

Excellent service, slow night. I got the Greek Grilled Chicken salad. Chicken was excellent with a char grilled taste and cooked to perfection. Excellent salad, more than I could eat.

Amazing brunch, super fast service.

Ordered the fish and chips, there is a lot of food but very little flavor to the haddock. Tried salt, lemon, tartar sauce. There was no saving that poor fish. It died for nothing. The blueberry pie brought up the score.

Not a brewery vibe if thats what your looking for. Its a restaurant and its a good one. Had several different drinks and beers all very well made and tasty. Black raspberry margarita was our favorite. Might have to use this recipe at home. Started with shishito peppers they were good little more done then i like but still good. Had the french onion soup and it was delish. Its one of my favorites and we ate all of it. Split the steak and cheese and bf was happy. No gristle all meat so when he bit into it didnt pull half the contents out. One of the best steak and cheese we have had here. Its a locals bar with the beer mug club and its a fun and friendly place

Fair experience. Satisfied my moderate hunger, and I had a tasty house-brewed beer, so not a bad visit. It was pretty dead in there when I arrived. I saw 7 members of staff pass me by in 5 minutes time before someone finally stopped and asked me, "what I wanted." Not if I wanted to be seated, or if they could help me, but spoke to me like I was a telemarketer bothering them while they were putting their infant to bed. The bartender Ashley was friendly and helpful, though.

This is a typical pub with good beer, nice atmosphere, and OK food. I ordered the Premium Steak and Cheese sub to have it be shaved steak which was very greesy and overly salty. This would have been better has a steak tip and cheese sub (given the name premiums steak and cheese).Other than the so so steak and cheese sub, the beer was great and the bar atmosphere was welcoming and fun.

I love Sea Dog! The atmosphere is very laid back and inviting. They had a wait for tables so I sat at the bar. I really like their Lobster Roll, plus they have good fries. Dessert was great too, brownie sundae. Nice selection of beers.

Excellent on all counts! Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and their timing was great. Food to match in plating and flavor! Cant wait to go back!!!

The staff at the host station when I came in were very friendly, but I opted to sit in the bar at a high top. I was then completely ignored. It didn’t seem overly busy, but I decided to wait it out. After 20 minutes of being passed by multiple employees, I flagged down a server to order a beer and ask for a menu. After 10 more minutes of waiting, I flagged down a different server and was able to get a menu. 15 minutes after ordering a beer, it finally showed up.35 minutes just to get a beer.The lobster roll and fries were great. IPA was pretty average but tasted alright after I calmed down. I was excited to try this place out, but was really let down on the quality of service.

Another phenomenal experience at Sea Dog Brewing Co. We called for a large party (20on very short notice, during the holiday season and were graciously allowed to reserve "The Compass Room". Our party had several kids and the room has doors so it offered us plenty of privacy but we still got the wonderful ambiance that Sea Dog is know for. Sarina took care of our party and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had what they needed. Ashley at the bar was also incredibly timely and accommodating. Kudos to the entire staff for making our event something special and going the extra mile during a very difficult staffing season. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location to anyone based on their quality selection of food and drinks. Thank you!

Great atmosphere! Friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous servers/bar tenders, and quick food turnaround time. The food is always delicious and portioned well.A restaurant staple for me and my husband.

Awesome menu. Great drinks and in house brewed beer. Saturday and Sunday brunch from 9-2 with build your own bloody Mary bar!

Really good food! We didnt have to wait for a seat and we had great service. The menu was extensive but not overwhelming and the drinks were really good. I got a crab roll and its probably the best Ive had.

The place was nice. Bussy but not too loud. Bang Bang Shrimp were a little soggy, salad wasnt very fresh. Fried mozzarella was excellent.

Sunday bartender "red head" sucks! I was there at on Sunday. There was four people at the bar and restaurant was slow. I left after waiting ten minutes at the bar. She did not say "hi I will be right with you". Just walked by giving zero eye contact. Instead of actually coming over to take my drink/food order, she was cleaning glasses and restocking. I left to go elsewhere annoyed.The week day bartenders at night are great and give good service.Food quality at times is not always that great. Depending on what you order they are inconsistent from week to week on how it is made and presentation. Usually the food is very good.When you order fried shrimp they love to put the older overly cooked/browned fries and the fries crumbs underneath. That was my lovely yellow, brown, slimy wilted Ceaser salad! Please stop serving the stalk part only of the romaine. I might as well be eating celery. Some of that non- stalk portion would be fab to eat!

I love visiting Sea Dog while I am in Portland. The beer selection is always good here, as it should be for a brewery. The service at the bar was top notch. Good knowledge of the brews was shared with me. I had to sample a few just to be sure I liked them😂What did surprise me was the clam chowder. I had chowder at four different restaurants and Sea Dogs was best. I also had the fish tacos which passed this reviewers taste testYou wont be disappointed if you give this place a try when you are in town.

We’re visiting the area and found this place which had a great menu selection. We got the “Tot-B-Q” tots on the specials menu which were flattened typical tots with a nacho-like soft yellow cheddar and BBQ pulled pork. The pork was awesome, tender and sweet! But if you’re not a fan of the cheap theater-like nacho cheese like me - that will be the downside to them.I had the Chili Lime Shrimp Tacos with a side of their baked Mac ‘n Cheese. I liked having so many selections for a side, and the one I picked was a bit off from the norm of what would go with tacos but I was interested in *their* version. The tacos had large plump shrimp, well cooked, cabbage and slivers of red bell pepper, a bold chili spice (not hotwhich was nicely balanced out by the creme they made, but the tacos did seem a little too salty. The Mac had a great white American cheese sauce, browned bread crumbs and chives. Unfortunately, a lot of the shells were clumped together in groups of 2-4 which made most bits tough and seem undercooked. The shells that were on their own were perfect... so cook time was perfect but hope they fix the clumping.She had the Sacchetti and Mushroom Pasta without a protein, which was all good - the pasta and filling. The only thing she didn’t expect was the sauce was described as a “cremini mushroom cream sauce” but ended up being wine based and she thought the wine hadn’t been cooked off enough. I thought it was pretty good but she wished it was better.We finished with the dessert special of whoopi pie, ice cream and chocolate syrup. It was good and as expected.If I lived nearby, I’d come here pretty often.

Great Gastropub-style brewery with both excellent beer and tasty food. We visited during happy hour, and the special apps were delivered quickly. The "potato nachos" (basically loaded waffle frieswere a sight to behold.I had the cheese streak with sweet potato fries. Both were very good, but the cheese steak isnt exactly what I expected.Still, everything was delicious, and well definitely be back.

Great beer on tap, love the blue berry ale, seen it other places no need for blue berries. Flight of beers are great. SO forced to try the fish as always (he hates fishapproved of it and swallowed it. Love this brewery. Not a great location unless you are going to the airport or mall. Food is good. Really we came for the beer.
