Family-friendly exhibits with a variety of sea creatures (most offer play areas & group packages).
Small but well designed aquarium. Going through the different areas was amusing for our children. You can get cheaper ticket after 4 and have enough time to visit the whole place.
Nice place a lil bit empty and dark but nice.for kids they have the adventure package very nice for kids i recomment this place .
Very nicely done!My doughter loved the part where can you actually touch some sea creatures.Luckily we didnt lose any fingers. Some parts of the aquarium were absolutely magical. Was fun.
Not worth the money. In less than 30 mins we were done.Rather go to Blijdorp Zoo. The aquarium part is better and then you still have the entire zoo on top.
Reasonably pricedNice experienceMust to go place if u have a kidMy family and I really liked the time spent here
We enjoyed out little trip to the sea life Scheveningen, it is small but fun. Especially the staff was very friendly and helpful. They took a lot of time to tell us about the animals (especially the penguins and otters and their different personalitiesand made sure our stay was worthwhile!
What an awesome place, lots of different creatures to see and for a really good price as well! It can get a little crowded at times but most people make room for you :lovely staff as well
This was one of the most beautiful sea life I have visited. They had different specie of fish and attendants available to explain the characters of the fishes. I didnt get to see the penguins though, they were being shy๐
As someone who grew up with Sea Life, it was great going there again after 10+ years. They made it even better than I reminded it, and theres so much educational information in different languages :(mainly english and facts in german and other languages as wellThanks again for allowing us to have a great time here!
Its a very nice aquarium, the staff are very friendly and the prices are okay. There is only one negative point, the aquarium is a bit small so that we had seen everything in a short time. But for a family trip (with kidsits more than enough.
Nice, fair priced if you buy tickets online beforehand. Some aquariums seem small, but everyone was really nice and we had a good time.
Nice to see fishes that we are not used to seeSome waters are dirty and could be cleaning moreYou can see some of the employee feed the fishes, it is really nice to observe that
Its a place for wrinkled skinned as well as toddler. This place excites every age group I mean to say. You just get lost in the wave of that undiscovered and mysterious world of the sea with the presence of those beautiful living being around us.The place could be inspiring for needy once and exciting for greedy once๐ You know ehat I mean..
A fabulous place to visit with whole family. A place for all ages
Weve made booking online. It was easy.We like it. Different colours and aquarium. The location is very good . ๐
After visiting Legoland we come here, not so big, but enough to spend 4 hours, the kids love it, lot of information about the animals and about protecting the planet, which is super important for kids to learn. The only downside is we have to pay 30eu for parking ๐ค ๐ ๐ ๐.
Went here while on an aquarium kick, its a small aquarium with some nice theming, but nothing stellar. What stood out most in terms of theming was "sea horse kingdom" mostly because of how absurd it was to have an overly themed sea horse room with only two species of sea horse. The aquarium is littered in pirate flags, employees wear pirate uniforms and pirate music plays through the entire building (it gets old really fast). There definitely were some nice species to see here, with some good variety and even a small outdoor section with some penguins and otters. If youre in the area, i think its definitely worth the visit.
Our three years old kids enjoyed this adventure! There were engaging entertainment that kids liked a lot! Scavenger hunt, pirates hat, interactieve screen. We liked the atmosphere and nice maintenance of the place. It was quite small compared to others we visited but IMO all exhibits were interesting.
I went here a long time ago, like 5 or 6 years ago. This is a very fun place for small children and possibly adults and/or teenagers. The various types of fish, seahorses, and sharks are very exciting to look at. Would definitely revisit if I had a chance.
The aquarium is small and the route is short. But super friendly staffs. There is also a nice mini entertaining corner where the kids can colour, relax and play.
Nice for the kids, 5-12 year old. Older may see it as lame. You can see turtle, shark and pinguines the most. Full price is too expensive for the offer. Going to the UK version is more value.
We had a great time at sea life. Its not super huge but also priced accordingly. Its definatly got plenty of fish to see. Lots of exotic stuff too. Near the start theres a guy explaining some sea life and you can touch the sea life. A little further down theres a drawing area for kids and you can scan your drawing and it will apear on the wall in a projected fish tank. Super fun. We were lucky enough to walk past the giant piranah tank during feeding time and a bloke told us some information about the fish before we were all given a pice of fruit to feed the piranahs (they were herbivores). Theres a few other things but you will have to visit to find out All in all it was a great morning out. Staff were really friendly and enthusiastic. Great for a morning or afternoon out leaving you enough time to still have some time at the beach. Highly recommended.
Amazing experience. Thank you missMandaleine for the help (sorry if i miss spell you name). I recommended buy the tickets with lego playground next door it will save you some money. I didnt knew about but the personal help me getting the tickets.amazing aquariums. Amazing views. Just a shame that i couldnt seethe penguin
We visited this SEA LIFE with our kid (>6years). Related to the pricing it was no good experience. In conclusion it was not the money worth and we have seen all in under 45mins. Furthermore the enclosure for the penguins is really really small.
Its a quite nice place to see different and beautiful sea creatures. The place is on the beach so it is easily accessible and there are other attraction nearby as well!Although, you might not find it that amazing if you had already visited Rotterdam Zoo.
Woweeeee what lovely fishies and other animals!!! All the staff were very friendly and one taught all about some lovely fishies as well which was great fun. We didnt know what the feeding time was but we were lucky enough to turn up just before it started at 2pm. A great day out was had by all except the penguins who looked quite sad.
When I visited the aquarium of "sea life" ,I saw unsuitable living conditions for the animals. For example, the penguin area was not clean at all. The water had a long time to be cleaned. There were also places where it supposed to have specific kind of animals which they were missing. The ticket is overpriced. After all that, arent we tired of going to aquariums to pay and see animals out of their normal living conditions just to have a good time?
Small but nice. Many varietes of fish. You can see a small aligator there. Little but expensive
Very cute Penglings. Huge aquarium with very nice designed rooms
I remember going there as a kid, roughly 25 years ago. It was exciting. Going there now with my own kid, it was hugely dissapointing. The whole thing feels and smells old and outdated. It litteraly feels like nothing has changed. It sure felt fancy in the 90ies, now it just feels..eh..underwhelming?And very expensive: 16+ Euros for a much too short walk to the souvenir store. I know it has been renovated in 2011, but to my eyes that must have been some modern screens and a bit of tech here and there. My 2,5 year old had a reasonably good time and i can imagine older kids and adults having a good time, but being a citizen of The Hague i cant help but feel ashamed for the price you pay vs the condition that it is in.EDIT: Thanks for responding Sea Life, i think its a good thing that you manage critisim in this way. Thank you for understanding and who knows, untill we meet again ;-)
Once youve seen one, theyre all really the same. The otters were not there and the penguins looked sad. The interactive board where your picture gets put on was great but too soon into the tour, would have been better at the end. The staff were fantastic though, one girl in particular, she worked in the interactive section, where you got to touch the star fish etc, was great. She was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun and when we bumped into her throughout the tour she happily showed my kids different fish she truly is an asset to the attraction.
While this amazing place is great for kids, its also an awesome experience for adults as well! The layout is nicely done with signs directing you along the way, and guides placed throughout giving useful pieces of information about what youre seeing. There is a wide variety of wildlife including a bunch of different fishes (obviously), crustaceans, turtles, seahorses, otters and penguins The tanks are nicely lit and provide a great opportunity for no-flash photography. At the end of the course there is a really cool gift shop where you can purchase memorabilia. All in all I had a great time and would recommend Sea Life for both families and individuals alike.
Although its rather small, it has a nice variety of fresh and saltwater inhabitants. The whole layout and decor has a ship/submarine feel to it that the kids really love.
Quite an interesting aquarium. very beautifully illuminated invertebrates. preferably to visit with children. I think 30-40 minutes is enough. You can buy a joint ticket to visit Legoland. entrance 20 euros.
Too small for the ticket price, only one time visit.
Super cool a must see the location is perfect.
Very cool place to visit no matter what age you are. Went there as a kid, enjoyed it. Went there as an adult, still enjoyed it. My only complaint is that the aquariums are a bit on the small side.
Per person ticket price is 18 euro i think good one must see this place ..
Very nice, not too big but has plenty of things to do, really recommended for young kids up to 8 years old. I loved it!
Extremely friendly staff โค๏ธ very clean, the inside route is well organized and it is focused on children (although grown ups will enjoy it too).
Small aquarium very nice. Good for kids its just in front of beach. around there have many restaurants and bars that after tour Sealife you can chilling on the beach
It was nice, but small. They had pretty straight forward covid rules but the visitors did not follow up with is not smart. Its a potty that there was hardly any staff inside to see this or ask questions about the fish.
Nice aquarium, with sufficient variety of fish and sea creatures. Its not very big but their expositions and fish tanks are worth a look.We enjoyed the time spent there and I can recommend it if this type of attraction has your interest or you just want to be entertained for 1-2 hours. Kids will love it.
After seeing few similar places I must say its one of the least impressive. Nothing really stunning. Few penguins in small pool is not enough. But if youre looking for a place to visit with small kids it might be the option but buying tickets online is recommended as they offer substantial discounts and its becoming reasonable value for money.
Really nice aquarium. If you are in the Hague, you should definitely pay a visit to this aquarium, especially if you have children.
Aquariums are my thing! This one turned to be one of the best Iโve ever visited. Should be noticed, this place is particularly kids-friendly, which initially led me to believe that an adult was going to be bored. I was wrong. The collection of species is massive, the tanks and inhabitants are well cared for, healthy, the aquarium design is done with taste.A lot of sitting place beside aquariums, so one can spend many an hour discovering fish behaviours or simply appreciate the beauty of it.The place is very conveniently connected to a cafe and the food was amazing.I recommend planning to spend around 2-3 hours in this place. The location is great, so it makes a refreshing addition to your regular day at the beach.
Awesome Aquarium. Fantastic staff and great setup.So.e of the glass could use sone cleaning (kids fingerprints everywherebut overall well maintained. Many species of marine life and well displayed.Would recommend if you have a couple hours to spend in the area
Really had a lovely time with the family. Visited with one that is almost 3 and our 9 month old. They loved seeing all the fish and colors. There was a play doh event in the play area which she loved. Also a really nice area to draw and see your fish come to live in the aquarium. Brilliant.Staff was friendly and welcoming. Nice to do on a rainy morning. You walk through it al in about 2 hours which is great with small kids. Definitely will come back
Very small but charming Sea Life (It was the first Sea Life in Europe, and that might explain that). When its full with inattentive Parents like today its hell. But when its less full it should be OK-ish. The Staff is nice and they put afford in the decoration. The Part where you go under the big aquarium is...small and extremely crowded. Check online for ticket promotions. Dont pay full price here.
Recommended if youre interested in marine life (or your children are). A small yet interesting place to spend some hours. Youll find various species from all over the world and loads of background information. Also the price is well worth the visit.
