Huge selection of market-fresh fish, seafood and caviar plus an elegant oyster and champagne bar.
3.8/5 Hmm seafoods tasted fresh, but the delicacy of the foods is kinda below my expectations.. Portions are generous.
Terrible experience. First time there and maybe we ordered wrong, but the meal was not good. Food was pedestrian at best. Oysters were also not good. No brininess at all. Like they were old. Salad was just large lettuce leaves thrown in a bowl and not dressed properly. My wife’s salad was not dressed at all. Mine had a quarter inch of dressing in the bottom of the bowl, and it was tasteless. Literally no flavor. Service was also sub-par and did not care we were there. We had much nicer dinners at Isabels, Sketch, Connaught, and Mon Plaisir. Scott’s was recommended to us by friends and family, but we will not be going back. Ever.
Bartenders are wonderful and helpful. All of the seafood is excellent with some amazingly rich dishes sprinkled throughout the menu. The fig dessert , the best. Also, the hostesses are great too and always accommodating when I try to pop in for an early bar seat.
Delicious food and great service. The dessert was a treat!
Wonderful dining experience. From the moment you arrive, the staff are friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. I also enjoyed reading the history of Scott’s. I will be back!
The food was amazing as always as were the staff. Definately a five star experience, would highly recommend.
This is the restaurant for our special occasions!! Once you come in Scott’s you jump in another time and atmosphere where you are treated as a queen and a king. Professionalism and attention for details make a big difference and in Scott’s you can find the right balance between the perfection and the good food!! The food is really fresh and super tasty and the chef is really talented. They always have nice options that make you feel to come back for try the other dish. What can I say more, just that everyone needs to do such an amazing experience at least once!! This time a want thank Gianmaria and Domenico that cared about us and our needs. Well done guys and good job to everyone!!
Lovely fish and seafood restaurant! As expected the staff were friendly and helpful. The waiter actually took the lobster out for us to see if we were happy with it! Price is reasonable for Mayfair. Most important it was cooked brilliantly and portion is actually is right amount. Was not easy to book so book early!
Such an indulgent experience! Every little mouthful was divine! The service was great and our Head Waiter Emanuele T. was very attentive and made us feel special, and also got us some truffles to finish our dinner. We highly recommend this restaurant! ❤️
I know this may come as a shock to probably all the wonderful reviews, however, I have been bed bound ever since having lunch there on Monday. I have suffered an extreme case of food poisoning most probably from the Oysters!!! Shocking from such a “ reputable “ seafood restaurant in London. Today is my third day and I am still not back to normal, I still have some digestive issues and I believe I will be awhile before I feel normal again!!! I’m not going to go into details of how sick I got but I did spend nearly the whole evening and night in the restroom. Bye bye Scott FOREVER!
Amazing fresh seafood, super attentive service, and great value for money!
The meals are super delicious, the service is excellent. We enjoyed our stay at the Scotts.Yet, when we asked for a taxi and politely explained that we are not familiar with Uber application nobody seemed to be welling to help us. We ended up in the street at 23:00 struggling our first night in London with an application we are not familiar with.
One of my often visited restaurants, good food, fair price, and welcoming service.PLEASE BRING THE CORN SOUP BACK TO THE MENUE 😭😭😭
One of my favourite restaurants in London, food is amazing every time we visit. In particular staff member Gian Maria is exceptional - he provides the best customer service, looks after us and is very knowledgeable regarding the menu and choices. Thanks Gian!
Always fantastic service and even better food... Myself and my partner have never had a bad meal here. We eat here every time we are in London, my partner on a weekly basis almost. The best place for fish in London in our opinion, the front of house staff are so accommodating and the venue is beautiful.
Third visit to this wonderful , London restaurant I thought I had done a review 😬 so better late than never.Service at Scott’s is superb as is the setting and atmosphere.Quality of the food on offer is always superb and if you are sensible with your alcohol it doesn’t have to be mega expensive. We love coming to Scott’s and can’t wait to return for a fourth time.Well worth pushing the boat out.Yolo
Simply fabulous. Great ambience, friendly staff and delicious food. Baked crab shell and fish for mains. Wonderful selection of wines and we were very impressed with a couple of Australian wines on the list. Worth the money, a wonderful night.
After reading the reviews I was so excited to try Scott’s Seafood. This excitement wore off rather quickly into the experience. The owner was so extremely rude. Frankly I find it astounding that a man who lacks social grace has any sort of career in hospitality. Of course this was only followed by food poisoning which proceeded all through the night and the following days. I will never go to this restaurant again.
Family dinner for 6 at famous fish restaurant. Ambiance good. Food good, but my fish came cold. Service unrefined - just one example, not checking who ordered what before plonking down the sides.
My dinner companions loved this place, but it lost a star from me as everything seemed amiss. The Ostra caviar they served was very good, but didnt come with full condiments. Oysters were okay, but the server wasnt able to communicate which was which oyster. And it came with two traditional sauces and a rather shabby bottle of Tabasco without a cap and with dried sauce on the lip. I stopped eating at this point and ordered a punch cocktail, which was good. Wines are extremely overpriced. Wasnt a good experience for me.
Stuffy and slighty pretentious. A calm, neutral decor and atmosphere. Seafood was extremely fresh but flavours were bland and nothing really stood out. Recommended wine pairings were very good however and waiter was very knowledge.Definitely better suited for a fancy lunch, rather then a dinner. A must visit for with those who have a conservative pallet and love fresh seafood.
One of my favourite restaurants in Mayfair, it’s mainly a fish restaurant however they also have a fine selection of steaks. You can eat at the bar area or at a table. The cheese soufflé with grated truffle is amazing, the Lobster Thermidor is out of this world. A stunning restaurant with fantastic service. It’s also a popular celebrity hangout, last time we were in Robert de Niro was sat at the table next to us.Make sure you book in advance.
My favorite place to eat fish on London always good nothing wrong. The problem only you have to book 3 days before you come.
This is an outstanding restaurant. Customer service is faultless, food is amazing.
Food is good we tried the fish and chips, fried oyster is so yummy and lobster. reservation is a must, service is too slow it took long time to have the main course.
Respected sea food restaurant. Possibly a tad over rated but guarantees a splendid meal. Service was solid. Quality of produce was excellent.
Scotts sets the bar high for fine dining with a family. The food is top notch and after going several times this past year I can say without hesitation that the shared platter for two is exquisite. If you struggle with breaking shells the kitchen staff have no issue doing that for you before the dish is served.Fantastic wine selection & the few cocktails they have are all divine.Average dining for two will cost 200-400 pounds, which given the quality of service and food is great value.
A beautiful high end fish restaurant in the fashionable Mayfair district. Dapper mature greeters and meeter’s welcome you into an elegant lobby we’re you are escorted to your table by beautifully attired staff in tailored white suits. The maitre d explains the plat de jour and a suitable wine to complement it. I elected to enjoy a roasted halibut with a delicious glass of cote de beaune. You only have to make the slightest gesture and an attentive waiter materialises out of the ether to attend to your every need. Thoroughly recommended
Wonderful dinner at Scott’s. The food and drinks were amazing. Definitely a top spot for dinner. The scene was very hip and lavish.
One of the best seafood restaurants in London. Service is excellent. The restaurant is family friendly and the food is simply divineAlways love coming here and enjoying the seafood dishes
We did not have a reservation during our visit, however we still were accomodated with a table outside.Food was very fresh, delicious, oysters were devine. I am not a fan of battered fish but haddock was absolutely beautiful and mashed peas went perfectly with it. Steak was very filling.Staff are very attentative to details, good customer service.
The burners outside announce our arrival at this liner shape busy bar. Noisy and vibrant bar and tables contribute to a lively atmosphere with people from all walks of life. The octopus was the most generous portion we had ever eaten. The cod fillet was cooked to translucent perfection again this was a mega portion.
I enjoyed my evening so much . The staff were amazing. They gave a lot of information in regards to the menu and wines. The food was wonderful, I had the slip soles and the pan fried Ray Wing with the highly rated XO sauce . My partner had the lobster thermidor and claimed it was lovely. For dessert I would recommend the apple pie. I wish the decor was a bit more modern but all in all I loved it and will be back
Scott’s is simply the best fish restaurant in London. Great attention to detail, great service, great wine list and amazing food.Would recommend Scott’s everyday and never had a bad experience while dining here.
Scotts is one those fine London establishments where you feel like youve really made it in life when youre able to dine here and my first experience having lunch here was a very special occasionFrom the incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive service to the amazing menu filled with a variety of delicious dishes ranging from griddled prawns to a whole lobster, Scotts really knows how to do great food very well.My friend and I both had the Shellfish Cocktail and the Ray Wing in XO sauce followed by tea and Petits-Fours and we both commented on how amazing the food and service were.If youre looking for a memorable dining experience or to take guests that you want to celebrate with and/or impress then you must come here.Highly recommended 10/10 - Definitely coming back soon.Special thanks to the MaitreD who treated us like royalty and was so accommodating when we needed to change our reservation time by an hour - outstanding customer service.
Very attentive staff, which was a bonus for my friends birthday. Would recommend for a special event, fantastic fish, especially the Halibut. I look forward to returning!
The service here was great. I got in right before lunch time and they were able to accommodate me at the bar which is perfect for dining alone or as a couple. The bartender was always attentive and gave me great food and wine recommendations which paired perfectly. The bisque delicious and warm, which was perfect for the cold weather. I had the special of the day which was cod and it was fresh, with crisp skin and a delicious sauce that complemented the whole dish.
Fantastic location, staff very attentive and the food is always good.I like sitting at the bar for a nice mid week lunch. Great place if your looking for a fish restaurant.
Nice vibes and great place if you’re into seafood. All the cold items where of great quality and cooked just right. The snails with cod cheeks where amazing however they were ruined by being served with the cold items. The sole moneir was simply the best I ever tasted. Cooked on the bone then expertly filleted and served with a perfect brown butter sauce.
Amazing choice of oysters, great drinks menu and delicious fish. Staff are wonderful, ambience is sometimes a little too busy and the venue isn’t huge so it can feel like you’re dining with others. On a quiet day it’s perfect! Highly recommended
Superb food, ambience and service. Our first time at Scott’s which was long overdue, particularly given my wife’s Great Uncle used to Maitre’d and served Richard Burton and Liz Taylor in their heyday ! It didn’t disappoint.
Very nice and quick service. Oyster mix, razor clams, eel, all were amazing. But monk fish with snails and bone marrow was exceptional. I recommend 👏👍
A London seafood landmark. Enjoy lunch on the quaint streets of Mayfair in the sun (if you go at the right time).Cannot go wrong with the classics, lobster, prawns, salmon. However, they lost a star that day because the avocado in the salmon tartare was far from ripe; inedible. A simple check by the chef would have made this apparent, even when pairing. Thankfully after I flagged the tartare was remade with only salmon and the rest of the tartare then went out that lunch service were like such!
Went for my birthday and had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the staff attentive in a nice way
A brilliant Restaurant, the food was fresh, the portions were huge and the taste was out of this world. We were welcomed at the door which was lovely and the service was extremely good.I would definitely return..as Arnie says…I’ll be back 😁
Mixed feelings about Scotts and we were slightly disappointed as our starters were a bit overcooked. We had the griddled prawns and the squid a la plancha. However, the mains of Dover sole and deep fried haddock (which also comes with chips), and Paris Brest dessert were delicious.Service was also luke warm. We asked the maitre d if there were any table seat available and she said shed get back to us but never did. The bar was a bit uncomfortable with no hooks for bags or jackets. The seats are very heavy so it was difficult to bring closer to the bar table.
My first time at Scotts. I went for lunch. The staff were very happy, polite and it was very classy. I was served with sparkling water once seated and a bread basket was placed on the table. I had a Strawberry summer spritz drink. My squash soup was delicious and the perfect temperature. My main was the Monkfish and Tiger Prawns Masala which was tasty and filling. It was busy, I can see why its very popular.
Incredibly decadent quality seafood. The oysters are divine. I had the prawns and it was quite a large serving. Also, the bakewell pudding was absolutely incredible - i highly recommend this one!
Lovely seafood restaurant. Knowledgeable and helpful staff, great atmosphere, amazing quality food. We tried the rock oysters, smoked salmon and eel sashimi, octopus carpaccio, John Dory cheeks and seared cod with padron peppers. All of those dishes were exquisite. For dessert we finished with honeycomb ice cream with chocolate fondue - the perfect finish to a lovely night. The wine list is extensive. Great place for a date, as well as business meal.
Made reservation to try this place out as we were passing London for the day. Nice atmosphere and seats were comfy. We ordered starter means and bottle of champagne with our meal = total £370 or so. All was good apart from the John Dory fish which was way overcooked but we ate it. When the waiter came we said the fish was too overcooked - he didn’t comment and just looked at us as if we shouldn’t be saying that. The lack of acknowledgement to offer something else was something we didn’t expected but we were enjoying ourselves so we didn’t bother that much. Staff were attentive and also around to help. Disappointing we were not offered for our jackets to be hanged when others were offered. There is a clear visible distinction of which dinners gets the care and attention more’ - staff need to see all guest the same and run the service with the same ethos’s. Overall it’s a great location and atmosphere to be in but food did not live to our expectation as we hoped.
