Scoreboard Bar & Grill in Waterbury

Great atmosphere with separate areas for everyone from smokers to non smokers. Problems are I get a bad vibe that if the staff thinks youre a tourist additional service fees show up on your tab. Ive been charged differently from staff that recognizes me than those that dont. Another problem who calls themselves Scoreboards and then has bands playing during the Tennessee-Alabama game? Couldnt hear the action anywhere except the smokey bar. Wont go back there for any sporting event I actually want to enjoy.

We were greeted quickly, seated and our orders came out fast as well. We shared the pulled pork nachos, pretty good. I ordered the chicken and waffles. (HotMan was that packed with flavor and heat. Actually was a little too spicy for me. I went through 2 cups of water. Should have gotten some milk. In a heartbeat I would order the dish again just choose a lower spice level for the chicken. I did order a side of bacon mac and cheese. I did not like that but everything else was great.

There were 4 of us at our table. My husband’s chicken strips were burned. My friend’s husband’s burger was burned. All 3 who ordered fries were handed cold fries. The server was nice but, the cook needed to wake up and stay on top of things!

Great food!!! I ordered the shredded pork quesidilla and hubby got a burger. Lately its been hard for us to find a good burger, but it was GREAT! I LOVED the pulled pork. This did not have that fake liquid smoke flavor...no smoke at all..it was great! Great sauce too!

Love this place! I may be a little biased as a Packers fan since it’s a Packers bar, but the service is outstanding and the food is awesome! You won’t be dissatisfied.

Not worth stopping anymore. Ordered to go in 20 minutes there is no way ribs got this cold and hard were they cooked Monday? Very hard to drop 25 bucks for well honestly poor quality food . Fake smoke was so overwhelming it made the ribs tough to eat. So is this the next property in Nashville that should be turned into Luxury Condos 🤔 There are better choices than this sad to see it go downhill. Thats a side dish lol. Sorry guys you were great but not worth stopping by anymore. PS the ribs were horrible. Is this Nashvilles new affordable housing development 🤔

Terrible, just terrible BBQ Chicken Tacos. But, I should have known better. Who gets BBQ Chicken Tacos. The waiter at first screwed up our order and brought me pork tacos. I had the waiter bring me the correct order. I should of kept the pork tacos. The place concentrates mostly on being a bar and it shows.

Honestly if i could give 0 stars, i would. We didn’t get menus or water for a solid 15 minutes (due to the “seat yourself!” Service sign at the doorThe waitress didn’t come check on us at all, finally ordered after about a half hour of sitting there. Food took over a half hour to get to us, and it wasn’t busy. It was 3pm, only 1 other table in our section. When we got the food it was barely warm. Chicken quesadilla was fine, but the burgers were described to me as “the worst burger i ever had” and the chicken bites were soggy, and far too spicy to be a “mild” level Heat, and the croutons on the side salad were so stale/hard that it felt like we would break a tooth on it. We only came here because the resort we’re staying at recommended it. I have regrets about dining here.

The aesthetic of the place was pretty nice with options for indoor and outdoor seating. They had live music which was a plus. As for the food I thought it was decent.

Ordered the fried chicken sandwich. I wasn’t feeling spice that day so I asked for “sissy” level heat. The sandwich literally came out in 5 minutes. I thought they just worked fast. Apparently not. It was all ice cold. It had to be someone else’s old order. It was super spicy too so I know it wasn’t mine.

Cool place. Great staff. Cold beer. Spicy hot chicken quesadilla. Live music….can’t go wrong!

Excellent atmosphere. Great live music. Excellent bartenders and reasonable drink prices. Great location near our hotel but unfortunately the food is just awful.

If you’re going to scoreboard please just drink don’t eat the food. Been coming to scoreboard for many years and never had any complaints. But now over 75% of the time the food is not even warm and I can’t eat cold food. They’ve totally lost my business for ordering food I’ll never eat here again. So do yourself a favor and steer clear of the food

First time visiting Scoreboard Bar & Grill and it was excellent! The food (brisket sandwich and burgerwas very good, the drinks were excellent and the service was great. The band was excellent as well. Overall a great place to eat, drink, and enjoy music.

There were three of us. Im the only ME. The waiter came and immediately tried to deter us from eating at the establishment. He suggested a restaurant we already went to. We decided to stay. He brought two menus and slid them to my coworkers. He did not acknowledge me until they were ready to order. Until then, he did not look at me. To say Im disappointed is an understatement. This is one establishment I will NEVER return to. The waiters and waitresses were overworked and it was unfortunate to see others that did not look like me have better service under these busy conditions. The food was okay.The service, not so much.

Some of the best bar food in Nashville! The drinks are always good, and its got an old school feel to the place (probably because its been there for decades!)

I had a blast! Have to say I was scared at first but the crowd let us enjoy the concert. Jennifer Wrinkle put in an AWESOME show!!!

Good food and drinks. Great atmosphere! The band was awesome! We were there Sunday evening when they have the Spazmatics playing there.

We sat outside at the bar Steve was great. The female bartender left to go take a smoke break and it took forever to get our tab because Steve was so busy by himself. The Monday evening band was terrible.

The food here is pretty good. The service here is pretty bad. The servers seem to be overwhelmed. Ordering drinks should not take a long time. And Im not talking about some fancy mixed drinks either...Im talking about Dr. Pepper, etc. Everything Ive had from their BBQ menu was good except for the brisket. The ribs, sausage, pulled pork and chicken were very good. The brisket was almost unrecognizable as brisket and was not good. At BBQ restaurants I like to order things I cannot make at home so I usually want to get brisket at BBQ places (especially in the Southso needless to say I was very disappointed.

It’s a cowboy bar, a tourist attraction and a great restaurant all in one place.My Nashville hot chicken was cooked perfectly. I asked for hot and was talked down to medium, it was delicious, but I could have enjoyed more heat.

Pretty cool little place that I just happened to stumble across when I heard live music coming from there as I was walking to grab some take out dinner from my hotel. I walked over and and had a Stella while I was waiting for my food and they had a great guy playing guitar and girl playing violin (maybe fiddle Im not a musician so Im not positive). They started with a mash up of Walking in Memphis/Little Red Corvette and it was awesome! Then they played Landslide it was fabulous! I wish I didnt have to work early in the morning so that I could stay and listen longer! And the beer was super ice cold yummy!!! I will definitely visit next time Im in town!!!Oh yeah, I was staying at the Inn at Opryland and its totally walkable to get there with only one street crossing :-)

Went on a Wednesday night after dinner to get away from the craziness on Broadway. Loved sitting on the open air patio listening to some nice older style country music. The slush drinks were delicious, the pork tacos were decent. The server was kind, though she didnt come around super often, and they never seemed to know which table to bring food to, so it usually took a tour of the section until someone claimed it. Altogether a nice night though.

Rode down for Boswells bike night first time I had been. Pretty cool setup. Big covered out door seating and bar area and nice inside also. Food was really good. Service was a little slow but to be expected. The place was packed! Definitely eat here again

15 minutes to get draft beer and we couldnt walk up to the bar and get it. Bartender said we had to wait for the server. Good luck with that. We heard the chicken wings were good. No way hanging around for that

Great food and service! The best part is the live music! Comfortable setting with bands like Pam Miller band! We come to Nashville every year and seek them out. So talented and entertaining. Feels way more like authentic Nashville than anything on Broadway!

Food was great, service was terrific and the live music was stellar. We love cover bands so it was super badass to watch a good one! We will be back here for sure!

Music was great. Food and service was fast and good. We had a party of 12 and the service kept the drinks a flowing.

Outstanding service and scrumptious chicken! We came in with a party of 17! Sat and waited on immediately. Our waitress was a pro! She gathered orders and checked on us frequently while waiting for our food. I ordered the chicken and waffles -mild heat. BEST chicken and waffles I have ever had! The chicken is fried fresh and cooked to a variety of heat flavoring. Warning: anything past medium is HAWT! The waffles are crisp and sweet. Also recommend the Mac and cheese bacon burger! There is indoor sitting, outdoor bar sitting, and a yard game area with misters. Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, phenomenal staff. What more could you ask for?!

Great food. We had pickled pucks (fried picklesmy wife had the fish tacos. I had the Ruben my son had the sausage pizza and my daughter had the bitchin butch tenders that were mild but had a hell of a kick to them. Great place, love music great cocktails too

Minus one star because the kitchen was having difficulty keeping up with the large Memorial Day crowd. However, Maja stepped up to the plate and did a great job serving our group! Great job Maja!

Its a cute bar, the live music was good, The drinks are good, the food is hit and miss. If you are visiting be sure to check your receipt they add an automatic charge for people using credit cards without even asking you what youre paying with. Its def scammy.

Spent an evening here with a great experience. Bartender, staff,music and food were wonderful. Decided to come back a second night with great disappointment. The Bartender was rude and offensive insinuating I had drank too much when in fact I was my parties "runner" for the evening. I only had one beverage upon arrival. She dropped the ball by not putting alcohol into mixed drinks thinking nobody would notice.

This place is pretty cool. It has a large, very nice outdoor covered bar and restaurant area and a stage. A great place to check out a band. The Trucker burger was really good and so were the onion rings. The frozen strawberry margarita was very good also. The staff was extremely nice and attentive.

If you like drinking and listening to music this is probably a good place to be. If you are looking for good barbeque this place will probably disappoint. We had the smoked sampler which consisted of pulled pork and chicken, smoked sausage, Texas style brisket, ribs, baked beans, cole slaw, and cornbread. The ribs were the best, they had a good smoked flavor and the sauce was decent. But the ribs had a lot of fat and gristle. The brisket had little flavor and was very fatty. The chicken and pork really lacked flavor. It did not seem like either was seasoned and the pork tasted a little watery. The sausage had a really mild flavor and tasted more like it was grilled than smoked. The beans were ok but again lacking real flavor to make them special. The cole slaw was ok but a bit watery. The cornbread was like a flattened hush puppy that had been over fried. It was a bit hard to byte in to and was very dry. Even the barbeque sauce they provide with the meal was just ok, nothing special. Overall, this was below average BBQ that really lacked seasoning and flavor. On the plus side the staff was friendly and the food came out quickly.

Great place for music!The place was difficult to get to through the parking lot. Once we arrived it was worth it.I did not have the food but it looked fabulous coming from the kitchen.The beer was served with a smile and great music.Much of this place is outside with an area to play corn hole/bags.Had a great time and will come back when in the area.

We actually went here twice in one day. We stopped in for lunch and had great food and Brandon was an attentive server. Then in the evening, after attempting to spend the evening at Music City Bar & Grill, across the parking lot, we came back to The Scoreboard because of the awful service over there. The band here at the Scoreboard was so much better, our server was awesomely attentive & cheerful (complete opposite of the young lady at Music City), and the vibe is great! We ordered some apps and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Highly recommend The Scoreboard!

My intro to Nashville Hot Chicken! I really enjoyed the food and the music, but the highlight was the service. Izzibelle took such great care of us and really helped guide me on my Hot Chicken experience.

We are just driving through Nashville and happened across Scoreboard. Went in without any expectations, but was hoping for some TN charm. We were really happy with everything. Our server Paige was very friendly and accommodating to my familys odd variety of food allergies. She was quick to offer great suggestions including a gluten free pizza with one half without sauce that my boys could share. They loved it - didnt taste like it was GF at all. My wife had the chicken and waffles and thought that was great too. Crispy / tender chicken and waffles that tasted sweet like fair food. I went with the Philly Beef (cant remember the name but had Irish in it). That was super good too. Afterwards we walked up to check out the live music and enjoyed some really well done Bob Marley covers. My one suggestion would be to add a kids menu, but beyond that we loved it all. If were back through Nashville Id be happy to check it out again.

Just ok. We were inside but the cigarette smoke from outside was a little overwhelming. The chicken was ok.The spice was good. I got the mild and it made me sweat 😅😅. The service was below average IMO, mostly un-attentive. The portion of ranch/blue cheese give with my order was not enough and you are charged .75 for an additional side of ranch.The surcharge at the end to use a card was also annoying. If I’m back in the area I might give them another try as anyone can have an off day. But this time was nothing to write home about.

We were very thankful they were open on Christmas; however, I dont think they thought so many people would come out on Christmas and didnt have enough staff. Our server was busting her butt and we were very happy with her. The kitchen was probably slammed because the wings, fries and fish were all room temperature. Will definitely go back, we eat here a lot during football season, but management could do better to schedule their staff so that holidays are happy for everyone.

What a fun place! I came in just to check it out and ended up having beer and dinner(fried pickles and shrimp quesadillasand listening to live music. They even let me stay the night in the parking lot in my RV! Thats the only way I could have that beer. Lol. Could have gotten a strong 4 star but there was too many issues.I am allergic to onions and my plate was severed with onion rings.Ribs were dry, over cooked and they forgot both my sides. Pulled pork and fries had no true flavor. Hard to get a refill on a $2.75 watered down ice tea. Here is the kicker, they want to be a cash only business but they forget to mention this on there website or even the front door. You will be charged a "NONCASH DISC AD". Basically you are changed a fee for using your credit card. They have a ATM but dont forget there fee for that.I heard 4 different groups complain about there noncash fee and the servers blame Covid 19 and management.

I cant get enough of their smoked wings!! Must try food item along with their smoked chicken and fish bowl drink. This is a large restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit outside and enjoy the live music. Our server was super friendly and attentive. There was a mishap with a cup and the manager checked on us and made sure we left happy. We will be back again soon.

Live country music and some of the best catfish Ive had. We had the fried catfish and the blackened catfish all of it was good. Service was OK it took a long time for them to get to our table. We sat outside and there were fans which made it perfect. The portions are very large, the fried catfish was basically a whole fish (breakfast for today). You can easily share between 2 people and have more than enough food. They were out of onion rings and the fries were cold. My husband said the baked beans were delicious. Overall I would definitely recommend.

Ive talked about hot chicken before but earlier this year we took a trip to Nashville where we got to experience the original first hand.When we visited we stayed at the @gaylordoprylandresort (a bit removed from the city but beautiful facilityand across from the hotel is a random sports bar called @scoreboardnashville.When you walk in it looks like a normal sports bar but what you might not realize until you start eating (I can testifyis that Scoreboard is one of Nashvilles top hot chicken joints.Lets talk about makes these hot chicken tenders so great:1. Consistency: hot chicken is extremely crisp - its as if its twice fried while still being super juicy on the inside2. Flavor: hot chicken is a bit of a slow burn, starts mild but turns hot quick for a fun and delicious flavor. The chicken is marinated hot and then powdered with extra spices3. Fries: fries were nice and crispy, dipping them in ranch tastes greatIf you happen to be staying at the Gaylord in Nashville and are craving hot chicken definitely check out Scoreboard.

I do cook, smoke and BBQ many types of meat. Im sorry to say the hickory wings I had were dry and slightly burnt. Not the best wings Ive ever had but the atmosphere was very good. Live music, a good party crowd. As they say, rock on.
