If you love outdoors and walking regardless of the weather this Scioto Grove River Access has the trails for you. I love the combination of observation decks and finished trails mixed with grass/ dirt trails in the trees when you take the River Trail. The water is always beautiful and its easy to feel like youre in another world entirely. Its a great place for the whole family to explore. A tip though: wear shoes youre okay with being a little muddy afterwards because no matter what season it is if you go on the dirt trails or ones that are unfinished your shoes/boots are getting muddy so just expect it and prepare for it. There are many areas of Scioto Grove Metro Park that I havent been to yet. I did take the trail along the Scioto River and located the river access although I didnt use it. Compared to other parks river access points Scioto Groves seems to be easy to get to and at a convenient location in the park.

I love Scioto Grove Metro Park. And, I go there at least 3 times a week. Right now, the summer wildflowers are in bloom and just beautiful!

Such a beautiful place. Unfortunately, you will come across trash on some parts of the trails, but for the most part, it is well kept. Bathrooms are near trails and there is water you can play in. There are a couple of "beach" areas where you can sit near the water and rest a while, too.

Really beautiful park that feels secluded even though its only 15 min away from the city. The trails are great to walk and its a solid place to fly a drone on a non-crowded day and get some cool shots! Ive only been a few times but I will be making my way back more often with the weather warming up.

Great park plenty of trails paved and unpaved they have fishing,archery, disc golf and of course a playground. If your in the area I suggest visiting

Nice little park. Well maintained, with paved and unpaved paths. Beautiful scenery, picnic areas, and monkey bars. Too muddy for me to walk to the water, but the meadows were full of color and bird life.

It is a nice park that is well-maintained. It has a very beautiful path that runs alongside the scioto River. It is very easy walking. There are no large hills

Huge park with many many features, including canoe launches. Completely pet friendly. Lots of cars in lot, but didnt see too many people on trails because so many trails.

A very nice park to go to for walking, running, bicycling, walking your dog or skating. The park is very well kept and has good access and it is a safe place to take children. The only drawback is shaded areas to park. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Nice park. I use it for running. I would like to see them put a gravel or blacktop path on the Southside. I run in the morning and the grass is usually wet so my shoes get soaked. Overall thumbs up 👍
