Overall I had a fantastic experience, its one of those museums where you can go with a friend to try together all the interactive things inside. Unfortunately, is not always easy to find some sections, I found hard to reach the flight zone (an internal hangarwithout asking to the personnel.

Among a great variety of free museums in London, since museum is standing out with their focus on large-scale achievements in techniques and fundamentals about cars, space and aircraft, energy, etc. Will be interesting to kids and adults. It deserves all 5 stars. Do not leave it for later, go now 😁

It’s free! But you have to book the ticket! You can do it from their website, but you can also do it at the front desk at the museum ( which was what I did). The place is awesome, they did a really good job with the lights and it’s very organized.I was a little bit lost regarding the lifts, as not all the lifts go through all floors, so you have to take a specific lift to go to the second floor! But I recommend the visit! They close at 18, but the last entry is at 17:15, don’t forget that!

Thoughts: this museum is very interesting as it tells the story of innovation and evolution of human technology through the years. For someone who was born in the 80s, it was very nostalgic to see the technology of that era once again. The flight section in particular was too much fun for me. Expect a crowded experience with too many kids around.Time: around 2.5 to 3 hoursChildren: among all other museum, this is the most suitable for children as there is a full section of interactive games and virtual reality experience.

We visited during summer holidays, so very busy period. When we arrived there was not very long line, however was going quickly. If you dont book your tickets, you can do it outside the museum. Exhibition its amazing. We didnt go for any of the movies or flight simulator as there was no availability. Booking for them in advance is required. Shop is full of nice things. Tube its not very far away. There are other museums near by.

Has been a number of years since I went there last until recently when I was in London. Arrived early to avoid the crowd. Enjoyed it throughout, always great fun. My favourite part has to be space exploration, cant beat that.

The museum is incredible and fascinating. It took like 3 hours to visit but I recommend if you want to not fast-forward everything to take 2 hours for each floor. The museum has 3 floors.

This is just a fantastic place for everyone. My 7 year old loves the WonderLab are which you have to pay but you can spent easily 4 hrs there with shows & activities. Rest of the museum is incredible too in case you dont want to pay for the extra.

This place was amazing! Everything was well cured and divided in sections. Maps are really useful if you want to visit specific area first. Each item is well explained, and located in a specific timeline. I loved to learn the story of the object and the contemporary scenario in which it was used or built. The necessity behind each item and the reason why new discoveries were made necessary was interesting too. There are also interactive exposition, so it is really fun learning experiencing with you own hands. It took me two days to explore everything as I wanted, but I think that it is possible to have a quick look in one day, stopping for longer time only in those sections in which youre more interested in.This is a great place to bring your kids! There are a lot of fun stories and everything is fascinating. The free entry is a plus, of course.

The science museum never fails to amaze me. Took my 3 year old and he found it fascinating. The museum has a basement garden, but really its a play area and a water splash area for young children which my son couldnt get enough of. Sadly, we didnt have enough time to explore the whole museum as its so big.

Tickets are free, I’d suggest book them online to avoid long queues. 4 floors of General Knowledge in all. Space section is my favorite of all. A bunch of cafes inside with variety of food to choose from. Plan for a full with family to cover everything.

An inspirational place for adults as well as children.Perhaps a little poorly organised and at times confusing about where to go or what’s free and what’s not free.A little disappointed too to see some of the same exhibitions as I saw over 10 years ago. I would’ve expected the one about the body to have been completely changed by now. It’s a large place and quite exhausting with small children, so probably worth doing small amounts on each visit.Even if you don’t buy a ticket for a paid exhibition, factor in the shop in your budget for the trip!

We only had 2 hours to wander around as we had a full packed day but could easily have spent double that here. You have to pre book tickets in advance which is fine and you can add a donation. There were quite a few interactive exhibits not working on our visit but my 5 year old wasnt too bothered. An unbelievable amount of things to see and learn under one roof!

A wonderful place to visit for an hour, or a day or a week! The building architecture is breathtaking and the display design and layout is superb. There are snack and restaurant places to relax and recharge mobiles and plenty of clean toilets. Finally the display items themselves are really interesting, all with summary descriptions.

Very nice. It is massive and has multiple levels to walk through. Tickets are required and donations are appreciated. There is an imax theater inside and costs 12 pounds for adults, it shows two documentaries about nature and such. There is also an flight simulator that costs 12 pounds for 2 people. Really nice and I recommend it a lot

Its a little bit confusing to walk through the different areas. Most of the time you have to go back and go through the room multiple times and there is no real order. This is different in the newer sections, like the digital information area.I would like more pieces of interaction, which would help to bring along the information for a younger audience. But since the visit is free its well worth a visit.

Certain parts of the museum were great but we found it wasnt signposted very well as you walked around and the 2 sets of stairs either side of the lift made it very confusing. £7 for 2 waters as I couldnt see anywhere we could refill our bottles I thought was quite steep although we could keep the bottles they came in. My children loved the space section but unfortunately the interactive area upstairs was mainly not working.

Fun, educational and certainly a visit you wont forget in a hurry. The myriad levels of things to see and do are sometimes staggering and you wont be bored by everything that you see. Being a science fanatic, I absolutely loved my time here and even the gift shop has some decently priced things - especially the books! I dont even need to recommend the museum as the reviews here speak for themselves.

A very nice museum with some great expositions i.e. the airplanes and space technology is good. 4 Flores with different themes of science, you can have a good view of everything within 2 to 4 hrs. There is also some (payed3d flight simulator and 3D movie attraction. Unfortunately during our visit it was only available in 2D which was a bit disappointing. But over all a nice place to bring a visit.

Great place to visit with kids! The ground floor is about space exploration and some old machines. There is a floor about medical science. Another one for math and science. One for the digital age and telecommunication and the last one about flying machines. My kids loved it! It is easy to spend at least 4 hours there.Entry is free but it is useful to book the visit in advance, if it is full they will not take walk in visit. The cafeteria have good food and the ice cream in the top floor is very good!

The history of Science and how it has changed and evolved the world. Cars and engines and wheels and planes, each seen in its evolution. Medicine an mathematics are subjects of observation and experiment. Experts take courses to adults and children. The space section is very interesting with its lessons and images. Apposite sites are recommended to children with simulation. Its the joy of parents and their children. Its free but its advisable to book in advance.

We went on Friday, at 10am, school holidays. The wait was around 10 min, we pre-booked the tickets, they are free, donations welcomed. There’s a bag search on the door.We prebooked the Wonderlab for 11am, extra £20 for 2 children & 1 adult. We managed to see the first floor in the first hour - kids loved it, loads of interesting facts & information. The Wonderlab was so worth it. We stayed for 3 hours & kids loved the experiments & different areas. So much fun. We even squeezed in a show!We then decided to have a lunch. This was the only low point of the day. There’s a Dinner on Level 0 & it’s not child friendly at all. Adults will pick something up but as for kids. The kids box offers a dry bap with cheese/apple/popcorn. Then there was a ham/cheese baguette, some sandwiches, 2 boxes of vegan & vegetarian food. But nothing really child friendly. Simple tuna white bread sandwich, jam sandwich, even toast would be a win! I spend £22 on 3 baguettes, 2 of which kids didn’t like, so they pretty much just drank their drink. Then I bought some popcorn & luckily I had some crackers with me. As amazing the museum is, the food sucks. Bring your own if you have small children I am sorry SM. Also a reason why I gave only 4 stars, so easy to rectifyWe then continued with the rest of the museum, planes, body, watches, technology- all amazing & kids loved it. It would be great to get all the areas going as we found a few bits taken out, I guess due to previous Covid restrictions? I would hope this returns to normal asap.Anyway, museum on overall, was amazing. The Wonderlab was fantastic. The food, zero points, please do a parents research & update.Just to mention, there’s a very dangerous shop at the end lol 😆. If you have children like mine, desperate to buy something but unable to decide, please leave at least 45min for the shop. There’s loads of toilets, easily accessible with a buggy, wheelchair. Many lifts.Have fun. We did, so definitely recommend this museum & would come back.

Theres so much to see and do here! If you want to look at all the exhibits in detail youd need a whole day and even then you might be pushing it! Theres lots of interesting information to read and exhibits to see on a wide variety of topics, the highlights were certainly the making the modern world gallery which had countless different interesting objects on display; the medicine galleries covered all aspects of medicine and a bit of its history very well; and the gallery on communications was also very extensive and told in great detail about all aspects of communication from telegraph to satellite. Theres also lots of interactive displays if you have children. The only slight complaint I have is it felt extremely busy on my visit and it was quite difficult to read all the information on the displays with all the children running around, however, this is probably just my fault for visiting at half term; would definitely recommend visiting in term time if you can.

An amazing day out for all ages. We went to the Wonderlab exhibition with a 1 year old & 6 year old - they both loved it! The tickets were a great price for all that’s on offer! Brilliant staff that added to the fun too. The cafe outside didn’t have much choice for lunch but there are lots of other cafes in the building that have more options. The ice cream & milkshakes were great though!
