Rent a bike and meader through New Zealands wine region. Be sure to visit Shuberts for a really refreshing rose unlike any rose you may be familiar with. Light airy and endlessly refreshing. Few tanins make it easy to drink. Views of the surrounding hills are gorgeous. They are known for their Pinot which is also delightful.

Nice wine but discouraged to do wine tasting and suggest we just buy a bottle of wine. Disappointed that we couldnt do the full tasting

Incredible wine tasting experience.Wine’s quality is tremendously high and you can perceive the tremendous work conducted both from simply tasting Schubert’s wines and from hearing the detailed descriptions provided.KUDOS to the whole team for the fantastic work.

Beautiful place, family owned and great hospitality. Wine tatsing a treat and we walked away with a few bottles. ❤️😎🍷

Great food and wines

I have been to four different tasting places over the last two days, but clearly these guys are the best in Martinborough. Very relaxed atmosphere with pleasent customer service throughout. Highly recommend

My partner and I went there on Tuesday and we had a great time tasting some of Schuberts wines with Max. Very knowledgeable and witty tasting and the wines were some of the finest we tasted in Martinborough. Will come again 5/5 stars

Was amazing to sit in the vineyard and enjoy their amazing wine. Very knowledgeable and pleasant duty manager who assisted us with the tasting. Will be back.

Schubert was our first winery we went to and we absolutely loved it! We booked for 12:30 but arrived early and immediately we were greeted and asked if we wanted to join in on a tasting. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The red wine was the best Ive had! Highly recommend and cant wait to come back.

Wonderful wines and great tasting experience.We came here on a Sunday in January 2019. The Manager on duty, Coco, was very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. We feltlike home. She took all the time to explain the specialties of each wine and also shared stories around the winemaking process and the history of the vineyards.Make sure to try the phenomenal Block B Pinot Noir!It’s maybe one of the best NZ Pinots you will ever get to try.

Very small in size but big on accommodation. There was a group of 8 inside when I showed up along with a van tour, another car of 2, then another 7 on bicycles. Got to enjoy 5 wines from a rose to a unique white and three reds. We all enjoyed the wines outside in perfect weather.

Excellent wine. Very accommodating hosts. We were a large group that turned up without a booking and we still got a very good tasting experience. Good pour sizes.

Great wines in an intimate cellar door setting. As well as their superb Pinot Noir and Syrah, also check their Tre Bianco (blend of three wine grapesand Dolce (dessert wine)... excellent. And be hosted by the charming Anna who is very knowledgeable about the wines and the vineyard history

Great place, nice little and cosy cellar door. Wine tastes great, try their syrah, definitely worth it, was super delicious. They are also a certified distrinutor of Gabriel glas wine glasses, they are beautiful.

The best Pinot Noir I have ever tasted (2015). In fact all of their wines were terrific. The best winery I visited in NZ.
